Chapter 2 - Because of You

Adam's life had undergone a profound transformation. He was no longer the old Adam, the aimless young man with no discipline or punctuality. His life had changed completely because of the baby girl who had come into his world like an angel. Before Radwa, Adam had been reckless, involved in dangerous activities because he did not know how to protect himself from the harsh realities of the world. As a teenager, he had suffered immensely, having no one to hold his hand or guide him.

But everything changed when he found Radwa. Seeing her, he was reminded of his own painful past. He made a firm decision to protect her from every hardship.

Determined to shield her from the instability he had once faced, Adam took Radwa far away from their village. He chose a secluded place near the wild jungle, not too far from the village yet not too close, so he could easily travel to the city and the village for work. In a place where no one knew them, he began a life from zero.

"Radwa," Adam said one evening, looking at her with a mixture of pride and affection, "do you know why I named you Radwa?"

She shook her head, her curious eyes meeting his.

"It means peace. I wanted you to have a name that feels like quiet after chaos, something that reminds you to breathe."

Radwa smiled, touched by his words. "Thank you, Adam. I love my name."

Adam's heart swelled with love. This girl, his angel, had given him a purpose. Before her, he had been lost, drifting through life without direction. Now, every day had meaning. He had become disciplined, careful, and fiercely protective.

"Adam," Radwa asked one day, "what was your life like before you found me?"

Adam paused, memories of his turbulent youth flashing through his mind. "It was very different, Radwa. I was not always the man you know now. I made a lot of mistakes and faced many crises because I had no one to guide me."

Radwa listened intently, sensing the pain in his voice. "But you changed. You became the best version of yourself."

"That's because of you," Adam replied softly. "You gave me a reason to change, to be better. When I found you, I saw myself in you, alone and vulnerable. I promised myself that I would give you the life I never had."

Their new life, far from the village's chaos, was simple yet filled with love and learning. Adam taught Radwa everything he knew, from fishing and hunting to reading and writing. He nurtured her talents and encouraged her curiosity, always emphasizing the importance of strength and kindness.
