Luna also notices that everyone looks as if she is lying, but she didn't care what everyone thinks of her and this was true it was her first time even touching a weapon let alone this double headed axe. Mr. Grey Maxwell looked into her eyes and said. "Is this really true that you have never used a double-headed axe before?"
Luna, without blinking her eyes, gave her answer, " Yes, I didn't even hold or touch the axe before this."
Larissa and other students can't believe hearing what Luna has said, and they are still thinking she is lying.
"Hey joss, how bluntly she's lying in front of Mr. Grey, I'm sure she's going to regret it later on. She ain't even afraid of heaven."
"Yes Armin, how can someone have the guts to tell a lie in front of Mr. Grey."
"Ok, I see that you are using this double-headed axe for the first time and still really great at it, then the double-headed axe is the best weapon for you to use."
"I can feel my calling just as I hold the double headed axe in my hand
"It seems to me like that double-headed axe suits you really well, I have used a double-headed axe before and I know how to fight with this weapon and know some moves I can teach you." Hearing that, Luna had a small smile on her soft lips and looking at all the students. Looking at Luna, some students' gazes were filled with various emotions envious, jealousy and regret one can see in their eyes. If they had chosen the first double-headed axe they might have a good chance to get to know and talk better.
Mr. Grey well knows what everyone is thinking but he didn't say, since it's normal for students to feel these ways.
Mr. Grey Maxwell Main weapon is a great sword but the great sword is so heavy that no-one can lift it up and to swing with a great sword is out of question for them. Some students try their luck on a great sword but in the end the only thing they get is a disappointing result and waste of effort.
Luna didn't hesitate and said yes, after all learning from the famous person is really good for her. After everyone gets hold of their weapons, they assemble in their spot once again.
"Now that all the students have chosen their weapons that suit them, we will begin the practice, so you can familiarize yourself with your weapon." Everyone's eyes gleamed with the brightness as they would perform better than everyone else and most importantly from this moment on they would walk on path to become stronger.
After one hour of practice with Mr. Grey, all the students lay down on the floor. They all look exhausted beyond came per. "Okay, students class ends today here, most of you seem to be exhausted and there's nothing to feel ashamed about. It's normal to be exhausted as you guys are still students not the soldiers and don't feel down about someone being better than you at something, everyone has their own strength, power and skills and working together we will find them here. So, don't be discouraged if you feel you will be left behind by everyone at this moment as your journey hasn't even started yet."
"You guys can take a rest for a while here after that you can go to your dorm room." After saying this Mr. Grey Maxwell left the hall through the backdoor of the stage, leaving them all in the combat hall to take rest.
"This one is the worst exercise and practice I have done in my whole life, Diana. It feels like I'm going to die today from sheer exhaustion."
"Suzie, I can't believe that you still have energy inside your body to talk shit why can't you just shut up for a moment and let me take a rest for a while."
It wasn't just Diana and Suzie, but most of them felt their new combat professor intentionally made them tired by telling them to do muscle tearing certain stance using their weapon. They were all thinking that special ability classes have better teachers for their combat class. The students from the special ability class have the same unlucky day as the martial arts class.
The only few handful of student were standing now after this tortures training Larisaa laid down on the floor like most of the students as wasn't used to training like and her all the muscles feel sore, she's afraid the she won't be even able to lift fork tonight at dinner and same thought shared by most of the students. But despite the half of the students lying on the floor some still stand up right on their feet some of them look exhausted but the still have strength in body and few whom you can count on one hand are standing without a single drop of sweat rolling down on their forehead and Larissa currently looking at one such a person.
Larissa looked at Luna standing in front of her, she still couldn't believe that Luna was still standing on her feet without feeling exhaustion but her eyes weren't filled with envy or jealousy instead her eyes shine determination as she won't fall down her knees next time continue to strive to be the best. She has been training every single day without missing one day for training and it seems that still not enough. She needs to work more hard to not be left behind by others, her hard work needs to reach heights that her fellow students have and climb beyond them.
While their classmates had different thoughts running on their mind, when people first time look at her in their class they didn't have much impression of her after being late on first day of their high school is bad. When one looks at her, she gives impression that she's not that much strong just flowerily sweet and naïve silly girl and she is one of the beautiful girl in their class but only ends there nothing much afterwards as she didn't stand much in compared to other students, but now that's changed everything she appeared to be one of the monster in eyes of their no…not just them but to all students in combat hall.
This made them solidify their misunderstanding about her origin being from the powerful martial arts family.
After resting for a few more minutes, everyone stood up from their spot and started to go to their dorm room.
After existing the combat class they see students from special ability class standing outside looking way more exhausted than them and some of them seem one or to seem to be injured too, special ability students didn't say anything to them, they just stood still with their head lowered as if their world has collapsed but they understood without even saying word that they have gone through hell of training and headed towards their own hostel rooms.
When Larissa and Luna reached their room, Larissa entered first and laid down on her bed.
Luna looks at Larissa "Larissa you are not going to change your clothes I don't think its a good idea to keep wearing clothes that are covered with sweat it's going to smell awful after a few hours just change your clothes dear."
Larissa didn't even move her head to look at Luna "I don't think I will Luna. My body didn't even have the strength to slightly move my finger Luna, I really don't know how come you are not tired, it feels like my muscles are screaming that I'm going to die. I just want to sleep now for some time, don't disturb me unless you really want to die today by my hands Luna."
Luna laughed out loud as she heard Larissa and just shook her head as she understood she's tried as hell that's why she didn't take her words to heart and knew she was just joking and let Larissa sleep. Luna went to the bathroom to take a shower. After getting fresh she changed her clothes and looked at the sleeping Larissa, and she mumbled to herself "You won't be able to sleep even if you tried, Larissa even if I tell you the reason you wouldn't understand sleep well my friend."
When Luna walks outside the room, the entire lobby is dead silent, no one is walking in the lobby beside her. She was sure nobody would be coming out of their room after evening. She started humming a beautiful sweet melody as she made her way through the dining hall in their dormitory. Except for a few senior students, the dining room was quite empty. Luna went to the coffee machine and began to make coffee for herself, the aroma of strong coffee hit the nostril of her.
"You got quite a heavy taste for a coffee, I don't think even I could handle such a strong one." Luna turned around to see a girl she saw in the combat hall today and also one of the few standing till the end without getting exhausted, her well portion physique as if she trained her whole. She has slender arms and slim body; her soft tanned beautiful skin makes her look like a weak girl but if they look closely they can see fine muscles slithering across her body like snakes but that doesn't make her look ugly instead make her look hotter than others.
As Luna held her coffee cup, the girl began to make coffee for herself, "Yup, I prefer the strong one, it tastes good to me."
"Hehe, I wouldn't be able to handle that. I prefer strong to but not like yours by the way I'm Lin Suet Mei."
"I'm Luna Proklyataya, you are stronger than you look and the way you demonstrated your spearman ship was flawless and impressive."
"It's not a spear, it's guandao. It has blades for slashing and chopping. While the spear is for thrusting, I mean both have long polearms that's why it looks that way to most people as usually most train with spear not guandao." Suet Mei sweetly explained the difference between gaundao and spear as she just got used to it as most people don't see gaundao a lot so they just take it as a type of spear though it does sound .
"You got quite a cool weapon, I have to say. I never tried any weapon before but I think a double headed axe going quite suits me well." Luna said as they began talking to each other.
