Chapter 27 - 27 tiering up

With that out of the way i was now quite close to being able to tier up magically i already could tier up physically but i wanted to test something.

Taking a quick shower i go to class and study.

When it was 11:00 am i went to sleep for 1~ hour and woke up refreshed, then i went to library and asked the librarian where is the books on purifying ones mana since i wanted to tier up as soon as possible and then quickly check out the terraria and minecraft combined world.

There were a few books.

After reading them i was a bit surprised that purifying your own mana is quite hard compared to condensing it and there were a few ways of doing it.

1. potions. Very VERY expensive potions if i used all my money on them my purity would only increase by 0.3 (50 silver for a 0.1 increase) and if i got my purity to 2.0 and i wanted to increase it even more a 0.1 increase would cost 5 times more since a potion that gets purity up to 2.0 does not work since it would be too weak.

2. rituals. There were no details in the book since rituals are illegal.

3. outer method. This was done by going into an area where the surrounding ambient mana has higher purity then your own mana and absorbing it tghourgh your mana veins.

This was also news to me that you could absorb ambient mana with mana veins.

4. Purifying method. You take a small amount of mana and while concentrating on it you take out the impurities, which you should be able to feel after some training and high perception helps so you should take a potion that hightens it or get buffed by someone or both for the best effect.

So after two more weeks of my routine i purified and condensed my mana i finally had them both at 2.

(Two weeks ago when connor first tried purifying his mana at night)

Meditating in my bed i put my hand infront of me and take out a small mana ball from my body (about 25 points of mana).

Concentrating on the ball i try and feel the impurities in it which i do feel after about 2 hours.

I open my eyes and look at the mana ball and by cross referencing it with how impurities feel i can now distinguish the impurities inside the mana ball with just my sight (mana sense) since the impurities are slightly darker particles inside the mana ball and by slightly darker i mean that if my perception was lower then 50 and i wasnt using meditation to increase my concentration i wouldn't see the slightest difference in the radiance of the mana.

I create a small mana tentacle and with it i take out the impurities with surgical precision.

After taking out ever impurity i could sense or see i absorb the ball back into my body before guiding the mana tghourgh my mana veins into my mana core and i mix the purified mana within my core for a bit before taking out another small ball of mana and repeating the process of purification.

Sitting on my bed eating an energy bar i look at every notification i got from the past 2 weeks.

Perk: mind palace: create your own mind palace. You will gain higher resistance to mental attacks, perfect memory]

With that out of the way it was Saturday in the early morning and for the next week we had holidays so i decided to go outside into the forest and i went into a small cave there and went into the undertale world and inside my room i sat down and decided to tier up both magically and physical at the same time to test my hypothesis.

Once i hear the start nothing happens for the next few seconds or so but i still keep my attention on my body and mana core so i will be ready for anything unexpected.

[Innate power: shapeshifting eater: you can shapeshift into the beings you eat (must be eaten raw). Either partially (as in he eats a dragon he can just manifest the dragons wings on his back.) or fully. When shapeshifting you will not gain the creatures will, intelligence or luck stats. You only need to eat a mouthful of the creatures flesh for your power to work. You will need stamina and mana when initially shapeshifting but once you are partially or fully transformed you won't have any sp or mp cost per second. You can make semi-permanent shape shifts meaning if you for example eat a dragon that is physically stronger then you you can transform your muscles into dragon muscles semi-permanently meaning your base stats will be considered that (ugh am not good at explaining so ama make it easier to understand: connor eats a dragon>connor transforms his muscles to that of a dragon>his base strength will increase to that of a dragon "permanently" unless he decided to shape shift his muscles into something stronger or weaker. Sorry but this is the best i can explain it and you probably don't understand this, but worry not because once connor uses the semi-permanent shapeshifting you will understand it{hopefully}). You can also decide on how big you want the transformation to be but you mostly can only make the transformation smaller]
