At 6.00 pm, they all walk back to the hotel leisurely. The side of the street is now bustling with stalls selling all kind of food. If not because they have other plan, they would have just eat here.
Once they arrive at the hotel, TongTong rush to the bathroom first of all. It is too full from eating all kind of food.
"TongTong is popping!" Bai Yi Fang who entered the huge bathroom with Zhou Zhu Yao shouted and laugh aloud.
"Bai Yi Fang! Let her be." Bai Yi Ling scold. Bai Yi Fang and Bai Yi Mo is so annoying, when they barge into TongTong doing her business in the toilet, they will literally let the whole village know. But, when they forgot to close the bathroom and someone barge accidentally onto them, they will hold grudge for a few days. What a double standard.
Bai Yi Yang laugh then tell Bai Yi Fang to let TongTong be too. TongTong reaction the first time it was seen in the bathroom was unforgettable. It become so depressed and didn't return home for a few days.
But now, it only humphed at Bai Yi Fang and continue popping. After that, TongTong flush the toilet and stroll out.
"Did you poop well? That girl is annoying right?" Bai Yi Ling pick up TongTong and check its behind. Seeing that it is clean, she let TongTong sit on her stomach while complaining about Bai Yi Fang to TongTong.
'Xiao Ling has changed a lot.' TongTong lied on Bai Yi Ling's stomach and said this to Bai Yi Yang.
'Why do you say so?' Bai Yi Yang ask. She is casually picking outfits for herself and her younger sisters now.
'She is more like a child compared to before. It's a good thing.' TongTong said.
Bai Yi Ling before is strict, she don't act like children her age. But now, she will run and laugh when she is excited, she eat more, she fight with her younger siblings, she will throw tantrums once in a while. Overall, she is still very sensible but her self also become more cheerful.
'That's right. She is only 10, she should act like her age more.' Bai Yi Yang smile and agree. Then, they talk about the other siblings too in silence while they are at that.
The room become chaotic again when Bai Yi Fang came out of the bath with Zhou Zhu Yao. She is wearing a huge towel around herself as she immediately ran to the bed.
Bai Yi Ling roll her eyes, get up off the bed, put TongTong down to the sofa and went to take a bath.
"Bai Yi Fang, stop jumping around!" Zhou Zhu Yao said and Bai Yi Fang let herself fall onto the bed and roll around. Zhou Zhu Yao nag while she pull her legs to dry her hair first.
"The tub is so fun. I want to take a bath again." Bai Yi Fang said to Zhou Zhu Yao with excitement.
"No. You need to dress up now. If not, we will leave you here and go have fun on our own." Zhou Zhu Yao try to scare her.
"Where are we going?" Bai Yi Fang's eyes shine. She loves playing in the water but she also love to go out. If she need to choose, of course she will choose to go out. So, she obediently let Zhou Zhu Yao dry her hair.
"Night market. But it is at the beach." Zhou Zhu Yao answer.
"Night market at the beach. Food and the sea. I want to go!" Bai Yi Fang said.
"Then you need to behave. If not, we will leave you at the hotel nursery." Zhou Zhu Yao said and Bai Yi Fang nod obediently. That's right, there is a nursery at this hotel but the payment is really something else. The first 3 hours is only 120 yuan but the next subsequent hour, they need to pay 50 yuan per hour. Don't know if there is people who will spend money for things like this.
Bai Yi Ling came out after 10 minutes or so. Then, she obediently sat while Zhou Zhu Yao help to dry her hair. Bai Yi Mo is already there and watching TV.
"Yang Yang, go to take a bath. I will help her dress up." Bai Yi Chen who is ready come from the next room and said this. Bai Yi Yang is currently helping Bai Yi Fang dressing up.
"Thanks." Bai Yi Yang grin and left Bai Yi Fang in Bai Yi Chen care. She then enter the bath.
Bai Yi Yang dress casually and comfortably. She wore a white tank top, denim short and a long cardigan with big stripes. Her long hair is pulled up onto a bun before tying a twilly scarf as a the accessory. As for footwear, she just wore a sandal.
Everyone basically dressed in casual manner too. Zhou Zhu Yao and Bai Yi Ling have the same styling, oversized T-shirt tucked onto their denim short, Bai Yi Fang is also wearing white T-shirt with overall denim pants. They look like they match well. The boys also look casual with T-shirt and beach shorts.
Once everyone is ready, Bai Yi Yang pick TongTong into her sling bag and they head out.
The night market they are heading to is not far, only around 15 minutes ride. But, because it was busy hour, they only arrived after 30 minutes, it was already 7.50 pm.
Zhou Zhu Yao parked the car a bit far because the parking space is small, she don't want to scratch the expensive car.
So, they walk for a few minutes before arriving at the entrance of the night market. The entrance was decorated with colourful neon lights and look very festive. So, they took pictures before entering.
"So many delicious food ah." Zhou Zhu Yao grin. After eating 2 expensive meals, she feel that these food that cost only a few yuan as rare delicacies. The rest also nod in agreement.
Their first target is of course to eat seafood. Majority of the stall are selling seafood, fresh seafood and those that is already cook in various ways and sauce, emitting appetising smell.
Bai Yi Yang was actually fine with any stall but TongTong is the one picking, it will check what people say and the cleanliness of the shop first. Out of the many seafood stalls, it finally settle on a stall.
"Let's eat there." Bai Yi Yang said and everyone agree before they all walk over.
The stall is operated by a middle aged couple, they have 2 sons who is in their teenage years reading at the side. When they need to clean the table or serve the food, they will stop reading. All in all, the place doesn't look over the top and they are not as enthusiastic as the other sellers but the stall look very clean.
There is a total of 9 tables and people can also sit in front of the food directly, there are 10 seats arranged in a row.
"Welcome, welcome. Eating here to takeout?" The middle aged woman was behind the counter and come over to greet them.
"Eating here." Bai Yi Fang answer and the woman laugh at her adorableness. She ushered them to a table for 6 people, it is not far from the food display.
"How do we order?" Zhou Zhu Yao ask.
"You can order here or choose the ingredients directly. We have a few ways of cooking and sauces, you can also choose the spicy level." The woman explain. In her hand is a notebook to take order.
"Then we will choose on our own." Zhou Zhu Yao look at Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Yang nod.
Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang is curious so they follow Zhou Zhu Yao to choose their food.
Have to say, this stall is really clean, the cooked food is inside a glass display and the arrangement is systematic. No wonder TongTong choose this stall.
Zhou Zhu Yao and the children choose for a while before returning back to the table.
"The seafood is alive and energetic, they look very fresh!" Bai Yi Fang said and attract the next table attention.
They just buy some ready made seafood and doesn't look that interested but hearing Bai Yi Fang praise, they also crane their neck to look.
The middle aged woman behind the counter saw this and smile lightly. The children is so adorable ah.
"They must be delicious. Jie, what if we order one more lobster in spicy sauce?" Bai Yi Mo add. They ordered one lobster in garlic sauce but everything look delicious actually.
In fact, their order is not small, a whole 2 kg lobster, a few fat mud crabs in sweet and sour sauce, barbecue stuffed squid, clams, grilled big scallops with cheese, oysters, prawn and so on. This is because the seafood really look fresh and they are in mood to order a lot because of the cleanliness.
"What did you ordered jie?" Bai Yi Yang ask. Zhou Zhu Yao grinned and list down her orders.
"But the seafood really look fresh." Zhou Zhu Yao wanted to defend her huge order.
"Then go order another lobster." Bai Yi Yang smile and agreed to Bai Yi Mo suggestion.
The people next to their table who have been hearing cannot help but drool. This group is really formidable. The seafood here is indeed quite cheap but if they ordered that much, it will surely cost a lot of money. But, their order really sounds delicious.
The table next to the Bai siblings is occupied by a couple then behind them is a group of youngsters, another group sitting at this stall is a group of aunts and uncle. Out of the 9 tables, only this 4 tables is occupied. They ordered 1 or 2 plates of the most ordinary food like readily cooked barbecue seafood. Where did anyone made big orders like them.
"Aunt! We want to order." The group of youngsters behind the Bai siblings seems to be tempted and called the middle aged woman behind the counter.
"Yes. Please wait for a while." The middle aged woman let her son take the notebook and go to the table of youngsters.
"What is your specialty?" The leader ask the teenage boy.
"Our fresh seafood. Big brother, you can choose them yourself if you want. Our family's sauce is to die for." The teenage boy said.
"Really?" The group laugh and two if them stood up to look at the aquarium that didn't even entered their eyes before.
The teenage boy bring the guest to look and promote some of their freshest seafood. His mother and father is busy preparing the big orders so he need to step forward.
Actually, this is the first group of customers that make this much order, when he listen to her mother taking order just now, he was stunned too.
There are too many stalls like this on the right and left of the market, some stall are decorated beautifully, some have neon lights to attract more customers.
This stall is one of the stall that look ordinary. They are clean and bright which is suitable for taking a break. That's why they courteously order a plate of food so that they can take a short break.
Those grandiose stall looks more attractive to eat. But, the group behind them is so brave to order a lot of food here, that's why they are intrigued. Listening to their conversation, they are indeed tempted to order fresh seafood too.
"Your seafood really look fresh. Then I will take half a kilo of crab, cook it spicy. 1 kg of prawn, salt and pepper. Half a kilo of butter squid.." The two young man start ordering and each time they add an order, the teenage boy's eyes shine. In the end, they got 5 additional big orders.
"Please wait for a while big brothers." The teenage boy grin and proceed behind the counter. He nudged at his younger brother to help. Who knows that they who is always idle will actually have some work to do this time.
"What did they order?" The middle aged man ask. He is busy cooking 2 dishes at once and ask his son.
"Spicy crab, salt and pepper prawn, butter squid, oysters omelette and spicy clams. Dad, I will prepare the ingredients." The bigger boy said and the father grinned. They actually got so many orders today.
Once the father start cooking the first order, delicious aroma waft to the air and the two other groups was immediately tempted. Two groups already make big orders, they suddenly got a courage to order from this seemingly unimpressive stall.
"Lobster in garlic sauce is here." The middle aged woman served the first dishes with steaming hot rice to the Bai siblings and other customers neck crane to look at the food. Heaven, look so delicious ah. The couple next to the Bai siblings table is already tempted.
When the barbecue stuffed squid was brought in, they didn't hesitate anymore. The boyfriend immediately called to make orders.
The middle aged couple and their two teenage sons was busy since big order come one after another.
When passerby smell the delicious food from the kitchen, saw the dishes served on the customers table and witnessing the customers eating deliciously, they immediately decided to stop by this stall.
By the time Bai Yi Yang and her siblings is done eating, all the tables is occupied and the family of 4 is very busy tending to their customers. The two teenagers who was reading before had their books put aside because they don't have enough hand.
"Older sister, your family food is really delicious. How much is it?" Zhou Zhu Yao come to the side of the counter to pay because the individual seat are occupied with people.
"Thank you, thank you. It will be 350 yuan." The middle aged woman smile happily at Zhou Zhu Yao.
"Huh? There is no way, we ordered quite a lot." Zhou Zhu Yao said.
"I am giving you a discount. I think we have this much customers because of you and your family luck. Sister, don't reject it." The middle aged woman said. She is not bluffing, when did they ever get this much customers. It is always the bigger stall and the more fancy decorations that have more customers. No matter how fresh and delicious their food is, people don't know it because they didn't even take initiative to order. Now, all tables are occupied and they all make big orders. After tasting the food, they all are full of big praise. How can she not be happy?
Zhou Zhu Yao listen to the middle aged woman talk and in the end, she accepted the discount. This is too cheap but she also can't reject the owner good intention.
