(From Ella's Perspective)
"Is the food to your liking?"
We were served salmon fillet with bacon-wrapped asparagus and lemon pasta. More than the taste, I was captivated by the decoration as well. The taste was great as well.
"Yes, the food is amazing," I said. "Your cook cooked this, right?"
"That's right. Is something wrong?"
"No... I mean, you have a cook. But you still know how to cook," I said. If it were me, I would not even bother trying to learn it. I would rather laze around.
"It's just a hobby of mine. Actually, when I was at the orphanage, we were given various lessons. Cooking was one of them. That's why I know how to cook. And besides, I like to cook," he said with a smile. "But you seem to hate cooking."
I gave a nod. "Too much work..."
Suddenly, I heard a very loud noise. I looked out the window at once. It was a loud thunder. The weather was not like this before. Suddenly, it got worse and the sky was not overcast with thick black clouds.
