After breakfast Kadachi leads me outside to the patio, There before me was a beautiful sight I hadn't seen before.
A beautiful blue ocean that went so far out you couldn't see anything else but the ocean waters itself. The smell of sea salt was strong but it was a pleasant smell. Birds flew over head as people walked along the shoreline.
It was definitely a sight to see and what a beautiful sight it was. I was completely mesmerized taking it all in, the light summer breeze felt so nice and warm against my skin, but then I also feel Kadachi's warm hand interlock with mine, I look up at him to see him smiling gently at me.
"See I knew you'd like it, wanna go for a walk?"
I nod and began to feel flustered as he leads me by my hand onto the sandy beach. I was amazed by how the sand felt under my feet as we walked alongside eachother.
(It's so pretty here, I can't imagine how nice it would be to wake up to this sight everyday.)
Kadachi walks alongside me as I stay silent taking in everything around me, It wasn't until he breaks the silence by speaking that I realized how awkward I was being.
"Why are you always so quiet? What's on your mind?"
Stunned by his question the only thing that came to mind was the fact that I never really had the privilege to speak growing up, it was either yes ma'am or no sir.
(I guess I just got used to being so quiet.)
I thought to myself before responding.
"Im just looking around, It's really pretty here and Im enjoying every bit of it and sorry I don't mean to be so silent all the time Im just not used to talking a lot."
Kadachi stops and turns to stand in front of me.
"Well I like to hear your voice, so please talk to me more, ok?"
I blush but quickly look away from him, he chuckles and rubs my head.
"Alright lets head back now, We have to go back to my parents house they are worried about you."
I nod and follow him back.
"Hey Kadachi...Could we come back here sometime soon?"
Kadachi chuckles a little before grabbing a hold of my hand again and responding in a gentle tone.
"Of course."
After getting home we are welcomed by Mrs. Sheng who immediately brings us to the living room where Mr. Sheng was sitting. After we all sit down Mr. Sheng starts to talk.
"This weekend is Fu's oldest sons birthday banquet, Since your mother and I can not attend you two will have to go alone. Karachi, there will be some big shots their that I would like you to try to strike deals with for our company."
Kadachi nonchalantly nods before responding.
"I understand."
Mrs. Sheng hands me the invitation before they head out of the room, Once they were gone I stand up to go back to my room."
"Kairi, Wait..."
I turn back towards Kadachi who was smirking.
"When we go to the banquet where the dress I send to your room that night."
Puzzled for a second I just nod as he walks out.
(Maybe since Kadachi chooses the dress it won't be so bad.)
Another thought crossed my mind at the next moment that I try to push out of my mind.
(Or what if he sends a very revealing dress?!)
I couldn't help but feel a bit un easy about the whole situation. Since I couldn't do anything about it at the moment I decide to just not worry about it and wait and see.
(The following weekend)
As the maid puts the finishing touches to my makeup and hair we hear a knock on the door that was to be expected. She goes to the door and after a minute comes back with a very beautiful and elegant looking dress.
"Here let me help you put this on!"
I stand up and undress, I put the dress on and she zips the back up for me. Next I turn around to look at myself in the long mirror. I was amazed by how I looked and how gorgeous the dress was.
The dress was slim and looked like it could reach the floor, It was a silver-ish white color with diamonds on the top fading to the bottom of the dress. The top had a slight v neck to it but not much while the back was open. The shoulders had see through sleeves. The dress complimented my look.
Once the maid was finished she took a step back and was in awe.
"You look so stunning Ms. Sheng! Mr. Sheng will want to dance with you all night long when he sees you!"
She gives me a reassuring smile before handing me my purse and somewhat hurrying me out of the door.
Once I was in the hall a thought came to mind about Kadachi, I stop mid way and blush. I was confused as to why his name or anything that had to do with him made me blush. It wasn't just a blush either but also the feeling of my heart skipping a few beats and feeling an uncomfortable but warm and fuzzy feeling.
I shake my head trying to make the feeling stop and just continue to walk forward.
Once I arrive at the entrance of the house I spot Kadachi waiting by the door talking to his parents. As I wall up to them they quickly notice my presence and Mrs. Sheng grabs ahold of my hands.
"You look stunning Kairi! I hope you both have a good time tonight!"
I smile at her compliment.
"Thank you."
Kadachi holds his hand out to me and I take it. We wall out the door and get into the car. Just as the door closes he leans in and kisses my forehead.
"Your indeed very beautiful, let us enjoy tonight and if your ever uncomfortable we can leave at anytime."
I blush a little but it quickly faded as I remembered what his parents had asked him to do.
(He needs to score some deals tonight. I can't let my fears or troubles stop him from that.)
Confident in myself I just nod and we drive towards our destination.
