The light passed through the windows as Aista lay in bed. Dust particles become visible from the light. although the room was spacious and well designed, it seems as though it hadn't been used for a long time. For a while, Aista watched the particles as he lay, wide eyed and pensive over what would become of her. From listening to the conversation last night, it did not seem that the people who found her meant her any harm. It was in her best I strest to remain. That way she would aleast not suffer or starve on the streets.

Considering many things, she might be considered lucky...

Lucky... if it weren't for the way she, at the age of five, had lost her family and was stranded alone without a home.

Lost into her thoughts, Aista could not help but tear up. Despite trying to remain strong, she could not help but crying out loud. Despite trying to muffle herself, she was unavoidable heard by the old couple who upon hearing her cry, rushed into the room.

Wearing similar velvety red robes with gold outlining, the couple hurriedly ran to Aistas side although once getting to the bed, hesitated for fear of frightening the child.

Aista was alarmed at the sudden rush of the strangers. Initially, he fear made her cry louder and even more unstoppable.

The couple looked at her anxiously. They had run into the room in fear that she would be in harm however it seems that their presence seems to have scared the little girl. They looked at each other, scared of making the girl even more uncomfortable.

The lady took the initiative. She sat down on the side of the bed and warmly patted the little girl's back. The couple silently stayed by Aista's side as she cried.

Aista eventually stopped crying. Her eyes and mouth felt dry from crying for so long. The couple eventually sat at either side of the girl.

"Little girl" started the man,

"we do not know what hardships you have endured in your young life, but know that from how on, we, Anna and I, will protect you and stay at your side."

"Do not fear us, we would only like to help you, if you let us be of help." said Anna.

"Richard and I will make sure that you will have a comfortable life. Now rest child, let us know if there is anything you need."

The words provided comfort to Aista who was both physically and emotionally drained. The couple, Anna and Richard, got off from the bed and went out the door hand in hand. Thinking it twice, they left the door slightly open so that Aista can hear them and so that she doesn't feel too alone.
