Sadayami and Pakoroshi headed home. I and Aashida were alone in the house again.
"Yo it is soo late your parents are coming when now?" I asked
"Prolly just got a motel or hotel for the night. In fact, wait, ya, they did message me saying they won't be coming tonight." She said
"Ok so let's clean this place up, and we also better wear slippers so that the glass doesn't stab our feet," I said
We went and brought the broom and cleaned began cleaning, as I was cleaning I got a bit neglectful and cut myself.
"Esss.." I backed off my arm.
"UGHHH, you need to be careful Tanyoka, be careful with glass do I have to teach you that as well?" she said getting mad at me.
She went by the other side with nylon in her hand and threw the shard in a bag, then held my wrist and sucked on my index finger where I cut myself, this didn't even bother me a bit, we did this to each other every time we cut ourself on the arm.
"You know what I should do? how about I hold that flash drive again and try to heal myself?" I asked standing up again
"Ya go on." She said
I went up the flash drive which Sadyami left on her table. On holding it nothing happened but I tensed my arm the cut had healed spotlessly.
"Its work is soo magical, I am scared and excited about this whole ART, PU thing simultaneously," Aashida said
"Ok, anyway I gotta go now, it's getting late," I said and started to leave
I headed home and straight fell on my bed without even taking out the flash drive from my pocket and storing it somewhere safe.
Next morning*
I woke up and did the usual, brush my teeth, even though it was a Saturday I went for a walk and I noticed someone some other girl also came for a walk. Huh, it was Pakoroshi.
I go up to the other side of the street where she started her walk and joined her.
"You go for morning walks as well huh?" I asked
"Oh hey, ya it's kinda gotten like a habit now," Pakoroshi said
We walked and just got to know each other better, our pasts, our interests, and so forth after we were done with our walk. We headed back to our homes.
I went and took a shower and just sat at my table binging anime as I always did. Some time had passed and by 10 my phone buzzed, it was a message from Aashida
Aashida:- "My place with Flasdrive right now."
Me:- "Ummm…, ok wanna watch anime after whatever u wanna do with this flashdrive?"
Aashida:- "I have 2 things to talk about Flashdrive being and Masuke being the second."
Me:- "Don't take his name in front of me. I told you before and I do not wish to repeat myself."
Aashida:- "HOW LONG WILL YOU 2 BE AT IT?!!, YOU BOTH FIGHT NEEDLESSLY AND JUST DO DUM SHIT ALL THE TIME, MATURE UP IDIOT YOU ARE 14."
Me:- "I will discuss when I get them, as in I am coming right now."
Aashida:- "Be quick I am bored."
I put my phone in a pocket and took the flash drive, I got a bit curious about why she really wants me to bring that flash drive any way I told my mom I was going to her place and left for her house.
On ringing the bell her mom answered she looked very tired but I guess it was expected. We talked a bit while I was sitting on the couch when Aashida yelled out "OI" from her room.
Getting in her room I tried to hug her but she immediately used her hand to block and push me away
"Don't" She just said and left me be
"Fine, but why did u ask for the flash drive?" I asked
"I need to get in ART, I need to see who I was before, what my power is, and so on," Aashida said in the most casual and regular tone.
"NO, AT NO COST WILL I LET YOU DO THAT, YOU SEE WHAT SADAYAMI COULD DO?!! HE COULD HAVE BLINDED US FOR LIFE IF HE USED HIS POWER FOR MORE THAN A SECOND LAST NIGHT," I said
"Tanyoka" She held my shoulder, "Do you trust me?" She asked making the cutest face ever.
"Aashida no, not like this please, I am worried for you. We can do this when we reach ART for a permanent form where we have enough time and ground to practice." I said
Aashida didn't say a word but just looked at me with a very slight frown which melted me.
"Fine, but I am begging you to please be careful in there," I said
"YES, Thank you soo much" I Aashida said in excitement
"Ok sit down on the bed. Relax and close your eyes." I told her
She did as asked, that is when I took the flash drive and put it in her arms and she tensed her mussels. She immediately fell unconscious. I locked the door and just sat beside her sleeping unconscious body.
*In Aashida's coma
Wait, why am I at this place, wasn't I suppose to meet my mentor?, a lot of thoughts ran through my head but now that I was here at Tanyoka's house anyways might as well get the powers
I got in the house without even knocking because I knew it wouldn't be locked
"Hey Ed, my powers?" I asked as soon as I saw Ed on the TV
"Oh, quite ready are we?" Ed asked "Well then Aashida, right downstairs.
I went downstairs and got into the connector
"Shall we begin?" Asked Ed
I nodded a yes
all the things which Sadayami said that had happened to him on entering the Connector was the same for me. But I didn't feel as if I am blacking out
The gas moving in the chambers gets sucked back in and a screen pops up saying
