"You see, these elements that these ingredients lose, they're not random. They follow a very important rule, such that it rids first the elements that hamper the strongest one. I shall use Fire as an example."
"For Fire, to go from a Common rank to the True rank, it must first remove the element that hurts it the most, which is Metal. To go to the Saint rank, it must remove the second thing that hurts it the most, which is Water. To reach the Immortal rank, it must remove Earth. To reach the Divine rank, it must remove Wood."
"While in most cases Wood would be making Fire better, it also holds Fire back since Fire is needed to control Wood. Without Wood, Fire can properly reach the Divine rank. And finally, there are only the Yin and Yang elements remaining."
