The Fire God felt that Alex's words were more provocation than anything. To him, Alex had already lost the match, so he was grasping at straws to try and salvage the situation before inevitably losing in the end.
It was not that different from what he had done in the last contest.
Lose, but do so while leaving an impact on the audience.
That could not be allowed.
"You can say whatever you want, but do remember that you don't have much time remaining. Just five more minutes," the Fire God said. "If by then you still want only this Sun of yours to count, then be my guest."
Alex didn't respond right away. "May I have my sword back for now?"
The Fire God looked down at his hand. He had forgotten he was even holding this. With the Crown on his head and the sword in his hand, he had two different Primordial treasures, each made from the heart no less.
Did he have to give it back? Now that he had it in his hand, who could take it back from him?
