The alpha of the Moon Lake pack looks at his omega with shame, "I will listen to it back at the pack house, but I think its safe to say that that display just now sealed his fate" the alpha sighs while looking at his warriors, "Grab him and take him back to our territory, and put him in a cell till I decide what to do, this wasn't a trap, but a showing that I need to rethink how I train my pack".
The warrior on the right nods and grabs Patrick by his arms and drags him to the SUV and put him in the back, one of the pack warrior jumping in beside him and clamping his hand down on his shoulder so he can't go anywhere. "So does that mean we can complete this deal and we can get back to our work" asks Shaun looking at the alpha and tossing the recorder over to him, "Yeah we can, your different from most vamps aren't you, not snobbish like them, thinking they are above everyone but confident in your abilities, and from what I have seen, rightly so huh kid" Shaun just shrugs "I do what I need to, nothing more nothing less, no point lording yourself over others when everyone is just as vulnerable as everyone else at one point or another, no-one is unkillable, they just like to think they are".
The alpha looks at Shaun as if he is looking at someone far too old at heart for their age before belting out a deep chesty laugh and starts to tear up slightly, "Well said lad, well said, Elisha you have a good one here, let's conclude our deal so I can get to dealing with that pup back there". After concluding the deal and Elisha getting confirmation from the alpha that his beta will take over all the deals and that a reoccurrence will not happen, the alpha walks up to Shaun and extend his hand, Shaun looks at it for a second then takes it and the next thing that happens would worry an onlooker.
But to Shaun and the Alpha this is a show of respect among wolves, the alpha lifts his knee and intends to plant it in Shaun's stomach/chest, however Shaun knows this and responds in kind matching the alpha's strength and movement with his own knee and they collide with a powerful and audible crack.
"Powerful and knowledgeable, look after yourself, I dont know why but you interest me and that's uncommon" the alpha says with a smile while struggling to match Shaun's strength but not wanting to look weak infront of him or his pack while grinning widely, Shaun looks at him skepticaly and they both bring down their knees and shake before the alpha asks "What's your name kid?" Shaun sighs and looks at this alpha slightly annoyed, "Well for a start you can stop calling me kid, are we clear, then I will answer your question".
The alpha scratches at the back of his head in a sign of embarrassment looking like a kid being told off "Okay I can agree to that, sorry" Shaun accepting the apology then smirks. "Shaun Darkblood, alpha", the alpha turns around and starts to walk away while waving to Shaun, "I look forward to seeing you in the future and hearing the types of stories you'll have". Sitting in his SUV and driving away the warrior in the passenger seat looks over at his alpha and asks "Should we look into the boy incase he becomes a problem in the future sir?" the alpha thinks for a while before finally says "Shaun Darkblood is his name, look him up, but I want the reports thorough and detailed, I think that boy has alot of potential and could be a very interesting individual in the future, and I want to know who his parents where, because that boy was strong, I can still feel my knee stinging from our exchange" placing his hand on his knee and grinning, which didn't go unnoticed by his man, "Understood" was all that was said.
The drive back was quiet until they were near the territory when the alpha looks into the rear view mirror at Patrick who is fidgeting in the back seat, "Just so you know omega, that boy could have killed you without a second thought, count yourself lucky he spared your life, and wasn't as merciless as most of his kind, they would have just ripped you apart and left you in the gutter, and we would have been none the wiser, do you understand that?" not a hint of a question in his words, "Yes alpha" was the only response while hanging his head and cursing the leech who has cause all this shame to happen to him.
"I will get you back for this Darkblood, if it's the last thing I do, you will pay!" Patrick vows internally before watching as the pack territory gates open up, and the SUV is swallowed by the shadows of the forest that they are entering.
