The Lycan was taken aback by this shift in appearance, "I had no idea Vamps could change their appearance like that, how old do you have to be before you learn how to do that, or is it some kind of magic so you can blend easier with the humans" questioned the Lycan looking on in astonishment, Shaun heaving a sigh in frustration, "I'm only 17, and it's not magic, like I said take a whiff and you'll see that I am not a Vampire" insisted Shaun getting closer to the cage, the Lycan looks at Shaun getting closer and tries to push himself further away, not trusting him in the slightest.
"I don't care what you say, I know a Vamp when I see one, I saw your eyes, that's all the proof I needed, screw my nose it'll probably just be tricked by your magic spell" snaps the Lycan ignoring Shaun's instructions. "Uuuuugh fine if your eyes are the only thing you are gonna trust then I guess I gotta show you something that not even a spell can replicate" groans Shaun as he takes a step back from the cage and starts to head back up the stairs, cracking open the basement door the tiniest bit, not enough to let Elisha see him but enough to let her hear him, "Hey Elisha, I'm gonna need another couple minutes, no matter what you hear, DO NOT COME DOWN HERE okay, it's gonna get loud, do you understand?" asked Shaun while holding the door in place incase she tries to pull open the door to yell at him.
In the distance across the warehouse he hears a distant "Okay, but you better not break anything ya hear, otherwise its coming out of your ass!". With that said Shaun closes the basement door and decends back below, the Lycan hearing everything looks on in suspicion at Shaun coming back from the staircase, "What is are you upto" he shouts, Shaun starts to undress ignoring the Lycan, "Hey why are you undressing, sorry to tell you bud but I ain't into that type of shit, and I'll fight you if you try to get close so be fair warned" The lycan says while lengthening his claws at Shaun, "Look man would you keep it down, and I am not gonna do anything to you other than probably make your jaw drop okay, I'm taking my clothes off so they don't rip, I like this stuff and I dont want them ruined, now shut up and watch, and when this is over, you can't say ANYTHING, TO ANYONE, GOT IT!" Shaun emphasises.
With a hesitant nod from the Lycan, Shaun crouches on the ground in the center of the room, The Lycan recognises the stance as a wolf triat but doesn't say anything, the next thing he hears is bones breaking and his eyes widen, "He's not doing what I think he's doing is he?!" the Lycan thinks, thoughts flying through his head, "What is going on, I saw his eyes, they were red, and his scent was that of a Vamp, he had pale skin, how am I hearing the sound of shifting?" the Lycan had such a confused expression on his face as he watches as Shaun's bones break and reform, his legs growing and bulging, his face elongating and his canines growing and yellowing, his eyes turning a bright orange, his claws sprouting from his hands, and finally his white fur sprouting across his body, a crimson line of fur running from his forehead and running down his back, along with crimson fur covering his clawed hands and feet, Shaun's breathing becoming heavy and feral and his body expanding with new muscles and bone growth before finally Shaun stops moving for a minute or two, calming his breathing before he stands at his full eight feet of Lycan glory and howls as loud as he can signifying that this is not fake to the caged Lycan as he looks at one of his kind standing infront of him.
"You...you're...how???" the Lycan was stunned and moved to be front and center of the cage pressing his face between the bars, the Lycan hears a voice in his head, "I am a Vampire, but I'm also a Lycan, I'm even rarer than you are, I'm the only Hybrid I've ever known to exist, I can shift between the two or combine the two to be an even stronger version of either, depending on which is the base when I transform" The Lycan looked at Shaun with wide eyes as if a child seeing santa for the first time.
"You can mind link with me, how?" Shaun just shakes his head as he starts to shrink and go back to his original Vampire form, "I've only done that with you, it's not like I can just find a Lycan on a street corner, I decided to test a theory since normal shifters can do it, I wanted to know if I could with you" he says while putting his clothes back on, "Are you satisfied?" he asked, looking at the starstruck look of the caged Lycan, "Yeah I believe you now, no spell can make me feel an alpha's aura, no matter how powerful the spell caster is".
Shaun pauses while reaching for his cloak and looks at the Lycan with shock and confusion, "What did you just say?" Shaun says while approaching the cage, the Lycan looks at him sheepishly and says, "You have alpha blood in you, I could feel it the moment you finished shifting, and that howl was that of an alpha, no doubt in my mind, you are an alpha of Lycans" with determination in his voice, Shaun just slumps back and sits near the cage, "I'm a fucking alpha, how did I not know this, does that mean I can make more Lycans???" asked Shaun in a rush while looking at the Lycan in exasperation and shock, the Lycan just looks at the floor, "You can yes, but I wouldn't with how the world treats our kind, hunted to only a handful, and caged like we aren't people, myself included" he says while slamming the bars with his fist.
Shaun stands up and extends his hand, "If you follow my instructions, I will get you out of here, after that you can do what you want, do we have a deal?".
