By dusk, they had already crossed mountains and arrived at the ranch where horses and armor were previously hidden.
The ranch owner was a simple and honest herder, and seeing the cavalry returning for the horses, he was so excited he almost wanted to rush up and give them a kiss.
"These days, a gang of bandits has been wandering nearby; he's very worried they'll attack the ranch," Miller explained beside Erwin.
"Tell him we'll take care of it," Erwin replied softly.
