I turned around and saw the gray mountain leaping towards us.
At that moment, I began to panic because if the avalanche fell on me, the snow would bury me alive. I had been running as fast as possible, and then I saw many wolves running down the mountain.
I was not familiar with the system at that time, so I didn't know what would happen. I always wanted to know where the people who ran with me just now were. Then I saw wolves slowly turning into humans, but they were not completely human. They stretched out their hands to try to stop the avalanche. I thought these people were stupid; how did they stop the avalanche with their hands?
I ran until I reached the end of the mountain. I looked down, and the cliff was very high. If I jumped off the cliff, I would definitely die. I looked at the two men next to me, and it seemed that they created some kind of clear energy wave to shield them. I thought everyone could do this, so I stretched out my hands, but there was nothing. I rubbed my hands many times, but nothing came out. I suddenly realized that Xiao Lan had given me a backpack. I put down my backpack and looked inside. I found a rope. I tied both ends of the rope to each of the men's waists. I stood in the middle and wrapped the rope tightly with both hands.
"Are you crazy?" One of the men asked me.
"Hey, I don't have the power to protect myself from natural disasters like yours. Help protect me for now. I will repay later," I said innocently. "If you two don't protect me together, then the three of us will die together."
One of the men began to untie the rope.
"It's heading directly at us!"
When the snow rushed down onto us like a bomb that just exploded with particles flying everywhere, I screamed loudly, and then I realized that the snow hadn't touched me at all. I finally had the courage to open my eyes and face my fear. I felt like I was standing at the end of two confluent rivers. I saw the snow sliding past us. I was very impressed with how the power of these two men saved us.
After the avalanche passed, the two men broke the ropes and ran to the left quickly. I quickly put the remaining rope into the backpack and chased them. I saw a small empty area with twenty people in it. Some people hugged each other; some were as lonely as me.
I sat in a small corner between two rocks, and I knew why people who used to work with Xiao Lan would not ask his parents to be free but chose to betray Xiao Lan.
The cold wind roared throughout the night, and the snow began to accumulate. Everyone cuddled together, and I was the only person who had no partner to cuddle with.
