As soon as Bertha Swift returned to the room, Maria White pounced on her.
Caught off guard, Bertha was so startled that she dropped her bag. She quickly pressed down on Maria, "What are you doing?"
"Did you really go on a date with Brian Joule? Oh my God, that's Brian Joule!" Maria had been a fan of Brian ever since she switched from supporting Adam Piers, and now she was utterly thrilled.
Bertha rubbed her forehead, "No, it was a dinner with the crew's main cast and creators."
"What? Not a date? Are you two in love then? I'm so jealous of you!" Maria, momentarily disappointed, kept questioning.
"No, we're just colleagues." Bertha explained.
"Really? How boring, I thought my roommate was dating a top star. Imagine boasting about that once you two go public!" Maria collapsed back onto the sofa.
Bertha sighed, "Aren't you quite free lately?"
