Before Bertha Swift could snap out of her state of confusion, Mary Scott already tugged at her, "What are you spacing out for? Hurry up."
Bertha Swift quickly caught up.
The three of them sat down, ordered a double-flavor hot pot, and then handed the menu to Abigail Green.
Having not indulged in this for a long time, Abigail wanted to eat everything she saw and ordered more than twenty dishes in one go before suddenly stopping to ask, "Did I order too much? But I feel like I could eat a whole cow right now."
"Doesn't matter if it's too much, let's just place the order," Mary Scott urged, while also glancing at the time.
Abigail decisively placed the order and then handed the ordering tablet to Bertha Swift and Mary Scott.
Since it wasn't a peak eating time, there weren't many people in the hot pot restaurant, and the food arrived quickly.
The moment the first bite of beef wrapped in spicy oil touched her mouth, Abigail felt a long-lost happiness, almost moved to tears.
