Ye Hong decided to stay awhile and train with the other Spiritual Gods. Shen Yue was going to activate the Dream Bowl soon. For now, he was enjoying the festivities and the accomplishments so far. Despite it being early in the morning.
"I have little to know idea what they are planning to do next." Shen Yue remarked to Shen Xiu while walking along the paved streets. A few vendors already setting up while others prepared directions still. "We have what is needed to step into greater levels of strength."
"It would be easy to conqueror Glory City, ensuring they can't rise to the point they will come after us." Shen Xiu fretted. In her hands were a few notes in regards to the history of Glory City. Even now she was going through it to find something more that was hidden. "You said it yourself, there is a way into another Subsidiary Realm through them."
"Yet I can not find what I need to get to it and you have not been able to find out either." He stopped looking at the man-made canal that flowed through a section of the city. Made for safety reasons in regards to possible fire outbreaks due to production and development increases. "We still have the different regions to check over in the Tiny World and different addresses of the Dream Bowl."
"Once more people develop with strong Minds and stronger Soul Realms', the work will get easier." Shen Xiu stopped on a piece of paperwork that mentioned a little in regards to the Northern snow region. "The building phase.."
"A year or two before we can switch to more of a steady pace. We have the food and the stability, but I definitely want the people looking towards the future still. Education is still something that we need to push. To many.. uninformed." Thinking about the level of math alone gave him a headache. "I am waiting to see changes in everyone's thinking still. Only a few have started to truly think for themselves. Innovation is so slow."
"Maybe you are in a rush." The two turned to the voice seeing Yang Xin with a few members of the Glory City delegation. Nie Yu wanted to celebrate with her family still. That and to inform her parents about everything. If they refuse and decided to leave, well they can have their memory erased. "How goes everything?"
The Black Star cubs ran over to him. Preferring to stay small for they can climb and jump on top of him. Which they did in a few seconds. Which woke Tigger, the runt who was hanging in his hood sleeping.
"Settle down little ones." It took only a little to calm them down after brushing them with Astral Sense and Beast energy. "I am not in a rush, well.. not the normal kind of rush. Just expectations are high I guess."
*Shine!* A streak of light came from the sky up above. Nie Yu landed in front of her family fully revealed shocking them. Of course, Shen Yue did not want to be a part of this conversation directly at all.
"Enjoy your conversation, do keep an open mind." Walking away, he was trailed by Yang Xin and Ye Mo of all people. Shen Xiu tending to the delegation members. Specifically, the Dark Elves that came with. "What do you two want to talk about that you are even willing to come all the way here during this time?"
"Straight to the point." Ye Mo wanted to take in the sights more but this was more important. "The man-made lake made in Glory City is definitely quite the sight. Those who remained didn't even shield the place. "I can only surmise.."
"I think they are trying to build relations in their own way." Shen Yue cut him off to prevent a misunderstanding. "Consider them like a Vassal State of sorts. If they screw up, it is on them. If they do well, also on them. Besides technology and certain resources, they can do whatever they want with you all as far as I am concerned."
"I told you City Lord, this was the case." Yang Xin smiled from the side. A very cheerful disposition despite all that happened recently. "Dark Moon City is just looking out for itself, that is why it moved."
"I can understand that," Ye Mo stroke his purple beard a little. A young youthful look really suited the man. A more dignified version of Ye Zong in every way. "..the Draconic Ruins Realm.."
"Hmm?" Shen Yue paused as they came to the end of the canal. Running his hand through the water, his Astral Sense shot through the entire waterway. The water was clean and devoid of most bacteria. 'Still good, need to check deeper on the Purification Runes before the first rainfall.'
Up above, a few clouds were scattered about. Not thick or close to rainfall on their own.
Enough Laws were understood to help with that of course. Just waiting for a good time. The place was a former desert area a few months ago.
"Are you going?"
"Maybe, I don't know. Something might happen and the Ambassador might change his mind." Shen Yue gave the water a taste. "Haa, good stuff. Lot's of herbs to be found up there, it is after all Ruins."
"You sound if you are going just to play."
"Kind of am." Shen Yue had what he needed to survive and leave the Dimension once tests were done. Now it was just some fine-tuning and double-checking to be done. 'Need to mess around with Time just a little more to make sure though.'
"I know Manuals will not work.." Ye Mo took a stip forward passing over a Storage Ring. It was old and extremely withered. "..but old items draw your attention. These are of the oldest from the time I spent in my youth gathering them."
"This as well is from the Alchemy Association." Yang Xin handed over a pouch with dried-up seeds, Alchemy pots, and a mechanical blueprint of what looked like to be an ape of sorts. "This is the best I can offer."
Looking over both the "gifts" closely, Shen Yue couldn't help but ask what they wanted from him personally. Opening up what they wanted by willingly forming a Soul Seal definitely meant business.
Desperation or Recklessness, either way an Agreement was formed with double devastating effects before Noon even came around.

Evening on a balcony-

Shen Yue was currently drinking with Lu Ning and a few others that evening. Talking over plans but not in the business sense. They spoke on different dreams they all had while growing up and what future kids will do.
Most were shocked that Shen Yue's dream was to be a doctor that healed the deserving. A few would have thought he was drunk but the somber and sober look defintely counted against that.
Considering he was a Doctor already, it was just all about finding the deserving now. His people defintely were deserving. People he could share laughter and joy with were hard to come by.
"Can I borrow your leader for the night?" Xiao Yu asked. A few looked up from their drinks confused by "his" words. She was obviously a man by the looks of it but Lu Ning knew better already. "I want to talk with him about a business offer that can not wait."
"Haa, sure." Duan Jian was three shades to the wind and barely able to keep his eyes open. He was calling it for the night finally. "I.. am going to bed. Hopefully, I won't be alone."
"Aww Lanruo holding out on you?" Lu Ning teased.
"Nope.. just.. doing the thingy." He made the scissor motion with his fingers. "Gonna drop the hammer when I get home though!" If he just unsealed his cultivation he would sober up really quickly.
The alcoholic designed to affect the cultivators was really strong. But burned up really quickly with the use of Spirit energy.
Luckily Zhang Ming took pity on him and escorted him the full way home. Even though it was a party, it would not be good to find a member of the Committee passed out on the road someplace. Or worse..
Shen Yue and Xiao Yu moved around the different halls. Shen Yue checking on everyone before leading to a semi-secluded area. The balcony was visible to several people on the outside and a few neighboring buildings.
"The Skyblaze Sect Ambassador... what did they offer you?" Xiao Yu cut straight to the point once they were alone.
"Nothing big but nothing small. For one, he was honest and defintely worth working with." Shen Yue continued to sip his drink looking out over the balcony. The view was amazing to him. Only thing missing was technology advancing and the place would be perfect. "This place is becoming "Home" more and more by the day."
Seeing some patrolling guards, he waved at them happily. They returned a wave and kept patrolling as normal. Riding on top of the Flame Vortex horses.
"I am loving this city and its people. So much potential to be better." He took a sip as he turned to Xiao Yu. Eyes lit up with Spirit energy and dancing with the power of various Laws. "They are growing better than I could hope to dream. It is maddening what some would do or achieve when given the chance."
"I.." Xiao Yu looked away not able to handle the intense look. Shen Yue increased the distance between the two. Aware that the time-displaced cultivator was going through a rough time still. "..I want your help. My foster father needs this to make sure the Divine Feathers Sect keeps improving."
"Nie Li is going there with Lu Piao, it should work well." Shen Yue sipped his drink before dismissing it. With the use of Astral Sense, he located the Spiritual Clone with the Snow Queen demon beast walking. Passing by blending in with several in the crowd without any trouble. "Demon Beast that gain a fully human form are no different from us. It is quite the sight."
Shen Xiu's demon fox was more than a handle when bored. Forcing her to keep it close by most times. It was odd that the few members that survived the Sacred Family purge commented that Shen Xiu was like that when she was young.
"But you can do more. What about a simple visit as a guest?"
"What do I get out of it?" Shen Yue had a few he wanted to poach but not to many from the place. Plus there was a female he wanted to meet there. One he dreamt of a few times since entering the Heavenly Fate Realm. 'I keep dreaming of that blasted ribbon she always had. Is it really somewhere in the Draconic Ruins Realm?'
"An Ally in another Sect." That was a little concern as the SkyBlaze Sect was stronger than them by a great deal. "I am willing to form a Soul Seal to ensure it." Xiao Yu was determined for some reason to get him there. "Plus, I want your help in getting my parents' cultivation sealed in my blood fully. The word that you were not at the Heavenly Fate Realm before the Death God Palace lets me know you have ways to get around so much restriction."
"Yeah, but I already gave you a way to hide from the Divination of others. To help with those individuals' "inheritance" that requires you to have sex with someone or.." Shen Yue stopped seeing as Xiao Yu was really uncomfortable. Face going completely red as she looked away. "You can have sex with a female if that is your preference. Or use.."
"I am not into females!"
"Chillax." Shen Yue fought back his smile stepping back. "I will help with this task after going to the Draconic Ruins Realm and you showing off a little. Those Dragon Martial Arts I imparted to you will go a long way to you getting stronger. Just pay me with something. "
"I can do that."
"The ring you have.. is a double edge sword be careful of that." Shen Yue moved to go back inside. "My method protects you from Divination but a person can still see you and figure something out. That cultivation manual you still use will get you killed and that ring in combination. Do not let sentiment get you and the people you care about killed. Disguises were invented for a reason such as this. Someone bad mouths your parents or insults them, ignore it or pretend you have know idea what they are talking about."
As he walked away, Yu Yan walked pass him to go enjoy the view. Seeing the startled Xiao Yu, she wondered what was up.
"Hey, Yu Yan." Brushing her hair back a little, Xiao Yu had a proposition for the Spiritual Goddess of Fire. "How do you feel about pretending to be my sister?"
"Huh?!" To say she was suprised is an understatement. It only turned weirder after that. 'First shouting about not liking women, now this!' She had come across a lot in her life but this was just going in weird territory.

Shen Yue made it to the science lab built deep under his home. One of the main buildings brought over from the Orchid City Ruins. It just felt right having it as his home and the science lab.
"How goes the designs?" Shen Yue looked over to one of the promising inventors. An odd young man that was found in one of the settlements that Yung Ling was from. "Llstylish, do not blow up another device."
"Of course not Patriarch," Turning around holding up the metallic ball of Runic and Alchemic design was impressive. "I am in the final phase of testing." Injecting spirit energy into the ball, it unfolded into a handheld cannon.
"Looks good. Charge time is not good but it will give a bit of fighting power for none combatants in case of war." Shen Yue marveled at the work. "Explosives were easy but this.. this shit is crazy to keep from hurting the user."
"Haa, really wished I took a few more engineering classes when younger." Llstylish grumbled. "Just glad I am not the only displaced person."
"Yeah, at least you didn't get jacked up and dicked around by a Pantheon and a friend." Shen Yue eyes flared in a little hostility before going away. "Just make sure you remember to rest properly."
"I got it I got it." Llstylish waved his fretting off. "Just wish I didn't get sucked up twice already. I miss my armor."
"Increase your cultivation or let someone search your mind deeper to pull the information out." Shen Yue moved towards the blackboard. The calculations he could keep up with thanks to the increase in his intellect but that didn't mean he could implement it all himself. "The Dream Bowl.."
"I rather not go through some mystical portal if I can help it."
As the night continued on, the two talked shop and of their past. Which was really refreshing considering the modern life was something Shen Yue missed still.
