"You need to stop this." Shango said to Shen Yue who kept going at the barrier. "Are you willing to kill an innocent to achieve your aims?"
"Absolutely." Shen Yue gave him an incredulous look. "Besides, she is not really innocent. She along with the other Spiritual Gods are responsible for the massive Demon Beast Horde killing people. They fought a war and lost, therefore their fault. Simple terms for simple reasoning."
"It was not that simple." Xiao Ninger said. Knowing a bit of what happened in her previous life during her travels accumulated.
"I know but I don't want to debate or anything like that right now." Shen Yue kept absorbing the barrier. "I have what I want in front of me and that is what matters."
"Nothing will be lost if we stop and talk about it for a moment." Shango stated. But Shen Yue did not stop still. "Listen to reason."
"Tch!" Shen Yue's eyes flared as he looked at him. "How's the search going on who got in my way previously? Any answers for me?" Shango just stared at him not answering. "Ah, so you have enough power to show up and annoy me but nothing on the matter I asked about."
"Yu Yan as the Fire Spiritual God will not prevent you from continuing to grow or those with you. You do not need to become Spiritual Gods." Shango reasoned. Shen Yue only relented just a little absorbing the barrier before starting again. "I will remove the block placed by the Pantheon when the time is right."
"No need." Shen Yue, shook his head at him. "I will remove it myself. As for the African Pantheon, I am not interested in them. No hard feelings, but I just don't like tests and all the secrets that they keep."
Shango's eyes narrowed as he could feel the Connection to Shen Yue dissolving. Destiny already paying attention to his decision to leave the Pantheon.
"Think of all those you can save if you stay!" Shango's words fell on deaf ears. "Help me out!" Huyan Lanruo waved her hand in front not getting involved at all. She would make her decision about this being right or wrong after he tells them later. "What would Mira say if she was here?"
"DON'T YOU MENTION HER NAME TO ME!!!" The outburst sent a wave of bloodlust in the place. Parts of the cave were completely flattened from the force. HER DEATH ALMOST RUINED US!!!" The Heart Method circulated increasing his power further. The Flame Vortex Core spinning faster.
None of them knew of this Mira really. Defintely hadn't heard the name before. The Barrier started to vanish faster. Shen Yue calmed down but his eyes were almost cold.
"Wouldn't be better to have her as an ally Shen Yue?" Yang Xin asked.
"Maybe, maybe not. I have methods to get everything I know from her regardless." Shen Yue was going to take her knowledge and disperse among his people. No need to think if she was lying or telling the truth in a way to suit herself. 'The Flame Vortex Core allowed me to know what I need from the refined soul. No need for discussions.'
"Doesn't she deserve to live though?"
"Not really. Hiding away down here, she is not really contributing to humanity in any way." Shen Yue felt a disturbance in the air. A change in spirit energy from some. "You plan on stopping me with force?"
"Persuading you.. yes." Yang Xin, Shen Xiu, and Xiao Ninger brought their soul force to bear. "This isn't you. Nothing like the friend I made talking and drinking tea with." Xiao Ninger was not liking this at all.
The soldiers with them pointing weapons at them to get ready to fight.
"If you fight them, they will get injured and may die." Shango stated. Aiming at the points that he knew would give the Champion pause. "You were never one to kill his friends, let alone loved ones unless necessary. This, this is not necessary."
*Crckk!* The stone around his feet cracked as his anger rose for a small flicker. Causing the Heart Method to circulate more.
"You sure about your decision to get in my way?" Shen Yue asked them. The purple glow in his eyes attacked their souls unconsciously. "It will change things..."
"I am sure." The three said together. Huyan Lanruo kept looking back and fourth confused.
"Very well then. Wouldn't be a right leader or friend if I didn't take this into consideration." Shen Yue circulated the Heart Method reigning in his emotions entirely. "I told Duan Jian a good leader and friend listens to those around him. But after I think it over, and I am in the right, don't regret what happens next."
With a rip, the barrier around the Black Spring was taken away. Shen Yue threw a piece of the Flame Vortex Glass at Yu Yan. As well as an engraved Ruby. The fire inside burst free invigorating her and sustaining her wisp of a soul.
"The Black Spring is mine, your life is yours to do with as you please." He hopped into the water starting to cultivate. Looking to the 2nd Officer, he gave a simple order. "Inform the others what happened down here, make sure they stay ready. Soldiers, go on standby."
"Yes..sir!" The 2nd Officer took off understanding his meaning. She didn't want to leave him alone with those who just threaten him but she needed to bring a few others down as well just in case.
"Uggh!" Yu Yan groaned in pain. From below in the water an orb flew up. The Divine Spark of the real Yu Yan flew into her. "Ahhh!" In a blaze of fire, a full-body appeared. Not as small one little representation of her.
"Why so suprised?" Shen Yue popped an eye open with a grin. "I am a doctor and understand the body a great deal from my "work" and refining of my own. Regrowing one is not bad. Just causes a lot of energy to do so.. Well, not my energy anyway."
"Ugh!" Yu Yan floated for a bit taking a breath in pain. The lungs were still forming. 'What is this gem?!' The ruby formed heart tissue around it. 'It's dense and contains powerful inscriptions!'
*Splash!* All of the water below was taken away and stored in Shen Yue's Internal Space. The energy washing his soul realm a tiny bit. The herbs growing shined from the rich presence added.
*Shine!* The Law of Light manifested after studying a Spiritual God's body during this time. Circulating it along with the others, he felt a restriction and smashed against it. It came from the African Pantheon placing a block on him. A restriction really.
"Well, that was annoying." Shen Yue twirled his weapons a little to make sure nothing was wrong. Taking a simple breath, and he felt a small bit of euphoria from the limitations removed. "They are all dead.. no need to dwell on them anymore. No need to let that hold me back. Keeping moving on."
With those in the Dark Moon Family and his friends in the other Dimensions, the only thing else to worry about, Shen Yue felt pretty damn good. He also wanted to go topside and have a drink.
Walking out, he stopped looking at Shango for a brief moment.
"Since you did not want me getting rid of her, one would assume you have a way of protecting her. As well as them in the future." Not waiting for an answer, Shen Yue walked back to the opening. The 2nd Officer already there with a few others. "Don't worry, it's been handled I think."
"The Demon beasts!" Yu Yan shouted. "They are on their way here!" Weakened like a newborn, she could barely stand. She didn't even have a cultivation yet. "They are Peak Legend Rank! We need to hurry!"
"Well... that just sucks." Huyan Lanruo remarked. "No wonder Shen Yue had that killing Array set up. "What are the odds he won't use it to help her against them now? Since obviously it is tied to her."
"About 0%." Shango stated. "With this mark, she will be hidden for a while. But it won't last. You would have to convince Shen Yue to create a Connection with you to protect you from The Sage Emperor as well as future tellers."
"Who is this Sage Emperor?" Yang Xin asked. No one said anything to that. "Oh great, more things to hear about. Anything else you can do to help flame guy?" Fearful, Yang Xin was not one to be polite right now and wanted answers.
"Ask Nie Li or Shen Yue." Shango started to vanish. He was summoned by the others who were not to happy about the loss of a Champion. "All I can say now is good luck, I doubt we see each other again. He finished the last test to quickly."
The last sentence in a muttering afterthought.
*Fwish!* Dispersing into flames, Yu Yan blinked rapidly as the person who just left was composed completely of "Laws" and something more. Helping her up after giving her some clothes, they moved to the exit. Hopefully not to their death.

Shen Yue's people were in position already. The Killing Array and the Restriction Array were both ready for use. But now the question was if they should be used really. The landmass they were set up at could be uplifted and moved elsewhere.
"Ahhh, you all want to practice against Demon Beast at the Peak Legend Rank.. or just kill them?" Shen Yue asked simply. They gave each other looks but thought it was crazy to contemplate it. "I don't care either way really, we won't die but it may hurt a lot."
"Sir," the 3rd Officer stepped forward. "I say kill them and be done with it. We have more important things to do. Considering the possible Opposition overall to our allies in the area and back home."
"That is true." Shen Yue raised his hand with the Flame Dagger. Infusing it with his Flame Vortex energy and Law energy. It turned white-hot but no overall energy could be felt. "The biggun, take out with the killing array. I will handle the other."
Speaking of them both, the creatures did not appear in their human forms. They appeared in their demon beast ones. Overconfident and stupid, they sneered looking at the humans down below.
A Scarlet Shark floated in the air. Out the side of its mouth, a human hand was dangling. It looked like a human-standing iguana more than anything. Before it could open its trap, the Killing Array was activated.
Several Golden Pillars appeared locking it in place. The Officers encircled the creature to set if it could break free. But they underestimated the level of the Killing Array.
"AIIIEEEEE!" Luqian Sha squealed in agony as its body was ripped apart. Shen Yue raised his hand taking it all in. The Flame Vortex Core pulled it in grinding it into nothing in an instant.
"You killed my brother.." Luqian Mo was shocked. "... the enhancements should have protected him!"
*Schup!* Shen Yue shifted next to him. With a swing of the dagger, he slit the creature's throat in an instant. The power of the Flame Dagger, cut through its flesh smoothly and cleanly. His free hand plunging through its chest easily.
"Hmm, exciting isn't it?" Shen Yue's eyes glowed a dark purple as he asked the creature. It looked at him shocked. "Death I mean. I have dyed twice before. You lose a part of yourself each time in the process. But you won't have that problem, I assure you."
*Fwish!* The Flame Dagger exuded flames as Shen Yue engulfed it entirely burning the body to a crisp. It was thrown into the Flame Vortex Core burning away as well.
'I may have overdone the amount of Spirit Energy used. Emptied out half of it in the attack to make sure I get pass everything.' Shen Yue felt a slight throbbing in his hands. It trembled a little. "I was afraid.. it wouldn't work. That is defintely a good response. Might need to do some fighting on the way back to understand my strength some more."
"They are gone.. just like that." Yu Yan watched in surprise as those who hunted her down back then were killed. One by an array the other by the one who gave her a new body and wanted to kill her just a few minutes before. 'What has happened since I have been dead?'
