It was not enough to change the girls' mind and Shen Yue could feel the seed of betrayal festering inside her. She respected him and was bound by the Connection that formed but a strong enough "Will" and she could push against him. But it was nothing to worry about currently. Any of the officers could kill her and there was also Duan Jian.
He was falling for her. Either the two bonded over the circumstance or the Thunder Bird was just able to attract those from his dad's side easily. It would be his downfall if he wasn't careful.

"Shen Xiu, is everything ready?" Shen Yue asked. She gave a nod letting him know they were done. "Good. Activate the Transportation Array and get ready to deal with any problems upon returning."
"I understand. But wait!" She grabbed his hand feeling something was off. "You are coming as well right?"
"I will later. Need to pick up some items before leaving." The officers and the others did not like this at all. "Odds are something has happened back home and needs straightening out. We are also delivering a few thousand people and transporting a part of a Subsidiary Realm. Question will show up if the illusion does not hold."
"Let some of us come with." Ye Hong shouted. "No sense in taking the risk by yourself."
"The new people need to be brought up to speed and they need to be hidden. How will that all happen with a lack of people to enforce laws?" Shen Yue was getting angry now. "Besides, you have all proven that you are not ready to push hard yet. Which has made me understand you need more discipline and are better off for defense preparation still."
The current time should be close to Nie Li getting involved with certain matters. Such as the Forbidden Zone (Heavenly Sacred Border) and going to the City Lord Mansion to set things up for the future with the Array of his.
The border was a none issue since the sword was taken and the array defintely needed to be done him. The Dark Moon Family defenses were for themselves after all.
"After seeing these people, what do you think the other places are like?" Shen Yue was very aware of the condition of the various realms but they just did not understand even after seeing the Sikong Family and the way they treated the miners. "Some are even worse off than this."
"Even more reason for us to come with. You have a lot of resources with you. Making you.. a target." The smile on his face unnerved her a little. She understood what he planned on doing now. "Which will give you the justification you need to kill them! You are strong enough.. this cultivation method is ghastly if it requires so much killing!"
"Haaa.. you are to soft." Shen Yue sighed heavily. A small emotional stirring in his heart that he crushed instantly. He would not let an inner monster (Heart Demon) develop. "If I tell you to go and kill the enemy who plotted to assassinate someone, would you be able to do it?"
He looked around at his people, none keeping eye contact with him. Duan Jian and Sikong Hongyue were behind him not say anything.
Their view of innocent and who and what to kill still fit only with what was taught to them.
"The Demon Beast Horde shouldn't arrive for a few months you predicted!" Shen Xiu grabbed the shoulders of Shen Yue. Her ouch firm but conveying a deep feeling. "We will have enough to defend against it! Have faith in us!"
"I do." They all sighed in relief but it was to early for that. "That is why I need more strength. This is not enough. The quantity will beat the quality we have. If you broke through to the Legend Rank that would be a different story. The resources are there the training is there. You are all taking it to easy or.. something is preventing you from understanding how dangerous the Demon Beast Horde is."
The answer was they did doubt the power of the Demon Beast Horde. Not thinking it would be that dangerous. The Scarlet Ghost wave they fought against allowed them to feel the pressure temporarily. But after it was over and the last few weeks of reflection, the cultivation of each of them soared.
They realized they could have fought better. Sparring with each other they became more confident. Thinking about all the people in Glory City, each of them settled into a state of comfort that Shen Yue could not break them out of it easily.
"Shen Yue.. I have gotten to understand you a lot better the last few weeks but one thing I am sure of, this is not the way to run things." Chen Linjian voiced. "As Patriarch of the Dark Moon Family how can you ignore the people under you?"
"Excuse me?" Shen Yue turned to him eyes a blaze. "Care to say that again little brat?"
"Chen Linjian.. I think you should step back." Huyan Lanruo did not like this at all. "You don't know everything. You have only.."
"I have seen Shen Xiu doing all the work. Not him." Chen Linjian shook his head raising his hand to silence her. "Why she puts up with you, I have know idea!"
"Hehe," Shen Yue started to laugh. It was a very odd laugh at that. The officers felt this was off and raised their weapons ready for anything. "You know what, you are right. We will all go back. And since everything is good enough, know more improvements. Let's see how it goes."
Fear would be a good motivator for lot of them. Desperation and fighting to survive the greatest lesson that couldn't just be taught with words.
Leaving the room after that, the first 3 officers followed him. They were slightly worried.
"I have a really bad feeling about this." Huyan Lanruo said. "The laws and everything were not made by Shen Xiu. They were made by Shen Yue you idiot. Or to be precise he implemented them and she helps with the transition for it."
"How could he know how to govern? It makes no sense!" Chen Linjian said jealously. After all Shen Yue was technically younger than him by his understanding. He didn't understand where the knowledge came from and assumed it was Shen Xiu's doing and some hidden master. "What master is teaching him this?"
"Master.. there.. no forget it. Just continue preparations." Shen Xiu stroked the fox a little. She felt a knot in her stomach growing. 'We have so many Black Gold Demon Spiritualists and so many herbs to use. Not to mention the various Demon Beast Cores. The number of warriors we can make will defintely be enough."

Shen Yue had did a pass-through of the surrounding with the 3 officers. Several trees were uprooted and put into his Internal Space. The replanting went easy enough to grow and nurture them.
After removing the entire perimeter around the place, he moved to the Sikong Family Palace.
The people had know idea what was going on but they were ready for anything.
*Fwip!* Several Stones Of Light shot into the air. They were the key to leaving this Subsidiary Realm. On the ground, several Rune Patterns lit up. Shen Yue opened his mouth wide as he started devouring the spiritual energy in the air.
The stream started to distort the surroundings.
*Wooosh!* A vortex of soul force came down and flowed through him into the runes. Powering it even further. The amount force was enough to kill several Legend Rank experts.
The members of the Sikong Family who wanted to rebel lost all hope at that moment. Chen Lianjian and his family members collapsed looking at Shen Yue like a monster.
In the Dark Moon Family Compound, an entire area lit up. The good news know one disobeyed and entered the area after the wall was constructed in that location. The lights alone could blind a person.
*Schup!* In the blink of an eye, the entirety of the Sikong Family territory vanished. Leaving only a crater in its place.
In the lot in the Dark Moon Family the ground carved away. This allowed the other soil to occupy its place. Shen Yue could feel the blue-white lines on his body throbbing. The soil was transported into his Internal Space after all.
Forcefully expanding it more.
*Schup!* After the territory arrived the rest of the people appeared. Shen Yue was the only one that looked haggard. His theory was right, he should have been on the otherside to help direct the place instead of being inside it.
But this allowed him to understand moving through "space" more. He also didn't like the heavy strain of spiritual energy it required. Even using the additional from the surroundings, he lost 1/3 of his reserves.
