Sikong Hongyue finally recovered. Seeing Duan Jian she almost fainted on the spot. But the change in his wings, as well as his temperament, were more than she could comprehend. Duan Jian also exuded a presence different than before.
"He is reborn that is all you need to know." Shen Yue answered. "I removed the "taint" inside him and that allowed his cultivation to flourish more in the future. Anyway, what will you do now girlie?"
"I just don't know." Hongyue wanted to blame him but still found she couldn't. Overwhelming fear all prevented her from doing anything foolish.
"Well, you will have my "Blade" as long as I am here." Shen Yue answered. "Go and rest. Make sure you understand who is in charge of your family right now. That is the most important. Make sure to let them know to obey me when I pass through, wouldn't want any to die needlessly."
Escorted out with a few family guards, Sikong Hongyue looked at Duan Jian one last time. She still couldn't get over his transformation. That and the fact he didn't try to kill her.
Call it intuition but something told the teen he could.
*Thunk!* The door closed with a thump.
"What will you do now.. master?" Duan Jian asked Shen Yue. "The assets of the Sikong Family should be pretty sizable."
"In due time. I am just thinking right now is all." Shen Yue moved to a window opening it up. "Do you wish to stay here and run the Sikong Family or do you want to come with me right now?"
"I want to come with you. Despite not killing her for everything she has done, I can barely control myself from lashing out. With Sikong Yi dead .. I feel empty."
"Haha, that is to be expected." Shen Yue pointed at him and sent a Cultivation over to him. "This is a small method to turn anger into peace. People like you are just unable to use anger and hatred correctly. Derived from the Star Martial God Technique."
"Thank you!" Duan Jian was grateful. He started working on the method given to him immediately.
Not wanting to interrupt, Shen Yue went to work on his own cultivation. Diving deeper into the laws and understanding more of the knowledge obtained from the ruins. In his hands were a few Demon Beast Cores.
Slowly Flame Vortex Core energy entered inside. The Cores of the Scarlet Flame Ghost were infused slowly. Much slower than he normally did like with the others. New methods were applied as he tried to insert his understanding of Law Lightning into the one on the left and Sound on the one on the right.
As long as the Spiritual God of Fire "existed" he would never be able to rise to that posistion. But thanks to his Aspect of Fire and connection with the man-god Shango he already reached high levels in Fire.

Sikong Hongyue made it to the room Shen Yue and Duan Jian were in. Her clothes a little provocative but she also had an outer robe on. She expected the two to be asleep but she was very wrong.
"With your officers sent away, I guess it is not a surprise you are up."
"Not the case at all. Was just talking is all. What are you doing here." Shen Yue said calmly. "Do remember you belong to me now. Not in the physical sense so do not get confused." He felt the clarification was needed.
"I know that!" Hongyue said a little embarrassed. She did think that a little. "I overheard some of the Elders talking about what to do. They want to attack you together to use as an example to the rival clans."
"Pfft, how foolish." Shen Yue couldn't help but laugh. "What do you want from coming to tell me this?"
"I rather not have my clansmen killed or to be used as a bargaining chip to subdue another clan." With out her father in charge, she was not that special within the clan anymore. "With me as one of your people, I am sure you do not want that either?"
Duan Jian looked at her then to Shen Yue. Despite what Shen Yue told him about how people were raised and some can not help what they do, at first anyway, he was finding it hard to believe her family would try and use her like this.
"Very well, let's start with those wings of yours." Getting up he wrote a some instructions on a piece of paper. It was a Dual Cultivating method. "Duan Jian learn this now then you will teach it to her."
Taking the paper he had know idea what it was but study the methods.
"Sit across from him now." As she did so, Shen Yue moved around to her back then inserted a piece of the refined Glass inside. Right between the shoulder blades. "This will be painful for you but follow along with everything the Duan Jian tells you."
"I understand." The moment he touched her back she felt all a tingle. Then Duan Jian started reciting what they had to do. 'This first level doesn't sound that bad.'
The first few levels were not that bad at all. But the higher-up ones required a little more from each other. More physical contact.
Shen Yue left the room but place a protective seal on the door. For safe measure, he also placed a Gold Realm Slaughter Array. He then made his way out of the palace to go explore.
"Let my energy guide you at first." Duan Jian said. Their hands gripped tightly as they started. "Take your time and trust me."
Which was the hardest part of what they were doing. One had anger that still needed to be curbed and the other had so much pride and was dealing with the death of her father. Who had a hand in the death of his family.
'When did Duan Jian become a Black Gold Rank!?' In the few hours that Shen Yue talked with him, the young man was able to tap into the power of his bloodline. 'I have to find out his secrets.'
The power of the Black Dragon Bloodline was consumed by the Flame Vortex Core then injected back into Duan Jian. The Star energy boosting the blood power of the Thunder Bird blood in his veins.
The Dual Cultivation alone was allowing the blood to develop even further thanks to Sikong Hongyue having the wings as well. The two were the best resource for each other. As long as they didn't give into anger and kill one another first.
The new Connections that formed with the two was something to worry about later. They still might kill each other.

Shen Yue made it to the mines but not alone. Shen Xiu had arrived with 5 of the Officers. The three that left went to inform them of the situation that took place so far. Not wanting the Patriarch to be left alone to long, the 5 plus Shen Xiu went to meet up with him.
"What are all of you doing here?"
"Came to help you." Shen Xiu answered. "The others are diligently cultivating so no need to bother them. With all the Scarlet Ghost cores and herbs recovered so far, they will be fine for the next few days."
"Ah!" A scream was heard further in the mines. Shen Yue moved forward instead of dealing with the current matter.
"Stand down." Was Shen Yue's only order to the Overseer. They heard of a visor doctor that arrived but didn't think much of it. "By order of the Matriarch Sikong Hongyue, things are changing."
"Humph! The princess is not in charge!" The overseer pulled the whip back then tried to lash the down miner again. "Get back to work!"
*Whack!* Instead of the whip hitting, the overseer was sent flying into the distance. Dead before he even hit the cave side. One of the officers was not willing to let this go.
They honestly did not think it was as bad as this when the other three told them so.
"Our Patriarch gave an order, you dare disobey! You must want to die!" The officer's aura bellowed out with his voice. Soul force smashing through the people in the mine area. "There will be no repeat orders!"
"Kill any Overseer that disobeys!" Shen Xiu ordered. The officers spread out enacting the command. She herself looking around at all the injured. Her heart in pain actually seeing it for herself. 'Before Shen Yue changed.. I don't think this would have bothered me so much.'
After thinking it over she knew this to be to much for the people. SHe went about treating the people while Shen Yue watched.
Having seen this happen a few went to tell the Elders. The Side Branch's Sikong Shou flew down to Shen Yue. Unable to tell his cultivation level he held himself in check.
"Young man, I am in charge of this area why do you get in the way of our work?"
"Because I choose to." Shen Yue answered. "They have the Slave Mark on them which is fine for one's enemies and offenders of serious clan law. But to beat them for no reason is stupid and counterproductive. If this benefits the cultivation of someone I could understand, but it doesn't."
"They are just lazy if we let up." Sikong Shou said indignantly. "We can not treat them softly."
"You can or you will find yourself out of a job." Shen Yue said testily. "I am clear as light with my words, disobey and end up like the others."
Sikong Shou did not refute. He could here the screams of several others in the area. These were not the beating of slaves.
Two hours passed before the screams finally stopped. The 5 officers came back bloody but the message was clear. Do not overstep or disobey the order.
Sikong Shou scanned the mine at a loss for words. Several blood stains all over the place left know doubt that they were killed. But the bodies were all gone.
Each officer stashed the body into storage rings. Passing them over to Shen Yue open returning. To set some things right and acquire resources was always a win to him.
"All miners are to stop working for the rest of the night as well as tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a day of rest as well as a celebration to announce a change in the Silverwing Family." The miners were grateful and thank him profusely. The members of the Sikong Family that did not resist remained quiet. "Go and get food, water, and medical supplies. You will all help in treating the "slaves" completely."
They went to work as ordered. Shen Xiu came over with a bunch of children. About 14 or so. A mix of boys and girls.
"Shen Yue... they don't have parents. And I.. I want to take them with us." Why she was so hesitant he had know idea. "They shouldn't be much trouble. I will take care of them. I swear!"
"Right.. several kids plus your current duties. How will you do all that?" Shen Yue furrowed his brow. He had a really bad feeling about this. "Not only is the Dark Moon Family still growing but we also have several problems to get ready for."
"I just will!" She stomped the ground in frustration. The kids not afraid huddled behind. The Scarlet Flaming Fox hissed angrily at Shen Yue. He thought it almost forgot who its true master was. "Just let me take them!"
*Fwoosh!* Shen Yue sent flames over them. Completely engulfing the kids and Shen Xiu. A few screams were heard then several bodies dropped down. Each of them that of adults.
"What the hell just happened?" Shen Xiu, the real one came running. Feeling His spiritual energy she thought he was ambushed. "Who are the corpses?"
"Don't know yet. But I will soon." Shen Yue wrapped them up with Astral Sense pulling them into his Flame Vortex Core to be refined. "But worry about getting this place in shape. Especially if what is going on bothers you all so much."
