(Blake family's mansion)

A young man with hazy blue yet mellow black eyes was staring outside by a window holding his emotions that was overwhelmed by his father's funeral it was Ray blake
"Boy are you planning to do something " old man asked
"No Grandpa it's nothing" ray replied
"Boy.., you know this eyes lived almost 2 centuries and you are saying you can just lie out in front of me " old man said sarcastically
"It's not like that grandpa just thinking what would have happened if you didn't interfered today James would have driven me out of the family isn't it " ray said in return but a seriousness can be felt by these words
"Forget it...that was my falut to begin with i wouldn't have adopted him if i knew that he will bear his fangs someday" old man said with disdain and regretful voice
Although Arthur (old man - Ray's grandfather) still holds the family's position but he was worried too that James wasn't the kind of to take his humiliation without doing anything he was still quit worried about Ray's well being
Ray knew that the dangers are still roaming around him both grand father nd son was deepened but didn't showed it in front of each other and trying to not blow out the poker face
Ray said "don't worry grandpa you Go and sleep well" .."I'll be staying in father's room a bit "
Ray sat on the chair of his father that was not yet luxurious or not so simple he was in thoughts of the memories he spent with his father and playfully being overwhelmed by his moments of well being of his father
In front of the chair there was a big portrait of his father in the portrait his was father was sitting in the same position and the same chair but he noticed that chair was slightly different
In portrait the chair had a broach like emblem on the right handrest his father was keeping his one finger on it while other fingers are not touching the emblem
It piqued the interest of Ray he looked at the right handrest of the chair there was a blank space that left the mark of the emlem Ray
immediately stood up and checked all the drawers of his father's room but he couldn't find the emblem as the same in the portrait
He was remembering the emlem as it always stayed on the chair he was annoyed to find it but he tried again nd again but couldn't find it so he left the room and walked in his room falling on a bed tried to sleep but he couldn't slept and kept thinking about the emblem
Then he picked up his belongings and started finding the emblem as same in the portrait the emblem the emblem was carved in black and a the sign of his blake family can be seen on it
Then a sudden thought came in his mind "father's sword hilt had a same emblem on the end of the hilt"
He walked in the family's keepsake room and searched for his father's treasured sword he found it quite easily it was not hidden or anything
But it was quite heavy to be lifted however Ray didn't flinched he got tired however being weak then average he managed to get the sword in the room heavily panting and sweating
However he was struggling to get it in the placed on the chair he tried and hardly managed to get in the position
The sword easily slided in the blank place as it was made for it and worked as a key in the chair's righthand rest.
Then he sit on the chair and when tried to put his hand as the same in the portrait as his father the emblem lifted a lil like it was a button
Ray pushed it down with index finger as same as in the portrait the portrait started to change as it was a screen
It was nothing a miracle but an artifact Ray was quite surprised to see that he actually able to find something that was left by his father
When the portrait fully changed the voice can be heard only available to the Ray because he was the only one sitting on the chair

When Ray heard a voice he was very familiar to he immediately recognized that it was his father's voice he eyes already filled with joy to be hear his fathers voice..
"Ray it is me..Simon your only Father "
