As Oliver walks through the hallway, his books are knocked out of his hands by Ethan, who is followed by Derek and two other Cobra Kai members.
"Oops. My bad." Ethan says with an arrogant smirk.
Oliver laughs it off and slowly picks up his books.
"Knocking the books out of my hands? That's the best you can do?" Oliver says.
"We can do a lot better." Derek says, throwing a punch at Oliver's face. The punch is then caught by Ryan.
"Ok, we all gotta stop meeting like this." Ryan sarcastically says. He pushes Derek back, right into Ethan. Ryan and Ethan stare down each other, ignoring everyone else. The Cobra's then leave.
"You alright?" Ryan asks.
"Yeah, thanks. I guess I kinda had that coming." Oliver replies.
"You don't deserve to get pushed around by those guys, just because you left the dojo."
"That's not what I mean. for the past two years, I've just been standing back and watching Ethan and Derek pick on kids. I could have stopped it, but I didn't. Because I was afraid of disappointing my dad."
Ryan takes all of this in, with a somber look on his face.
"When I first got here, and Ethan was beating me into the ground, you stepped in and tried to stop him. Same thing when Derek went after Zack the other night. The point is, you tried to do the right thing. That's all that matters." Ryan tells him.
Oliver smiles and the two walk through the hall's as Bill watches from a distance.
"Are you going to tell him?" Nurse Mai asks him.
"I don't want to. But it looks like I have no choice." Bill replies.
Later at the cafeteria, Emily and Zack sit at a table as Ethan and Ryan joins them.
"Sorry we're late. We ran into captain Cobra." Ryan says, referring to Ethan who is staring at them.
"Yeah, he's been in a really pissy mood ever since the break up with Emily." Oliver adds.
"Well he should have appreciated her more." Ryan says, wrapping his arm around her. As the group of them laugh, Oliver thinks to himself that he finally belongs somewhere, and he smiles.
After school let's out, Ryan goes to the dojo.
"Hey, sensei. So, what are we learning today?" Ryan asks.
Bill stays silent for a moment.
"We need to talk." Bill finally says.
