Bill and Ryan walk through the hall's of the building where the All Valley Karate Tournament will take place.
"You ready?" Bill asks Ryan.
"Yes, Sensei. Always."
Bill smiles.
"Good."
Ryan then thinks about something.
"Hey, Sensei. There's something I've been wondering about for awhile."
"What is it?"
"Why is our dojo called Wolf Fang Karate? I mean I get why Cobra Kai is called Cobra Kai, the whole "strike first, strike hard, no mercy" thing, so why are we wolves?"
Bill stops walking and turns to the young man.
"Do you remember your first day at school, when you defended Zack?"
Ryan smirks.
"You mean the day where you saw my potential?"
"Ha, no, I mean the day that you got your ass kicked."
"Yeah, that sounds about right." Ryan says, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Wolves are known as loners. Lone wolf, right?"
"Yeah, I guess."
"Wrong. Wolves are loyal to their pack. You were loyal to Zack, and even Emily when first came here."
"Like a wolf."
"Like a wolf."
The teacher and the student bow to each other, then walk into the sign up area for the tournament. As they walk in, they are faced by Ethan and Baron.
"What the hell are you doing here? Oh don't tell you're here to sign up for the tournament." Ethan says, chuckling to himself.
"No, I'm here sign up for tap dancing classes, I wouldn't want to embarrass you infront of a large crowd." Ryan replies with a smile.
Ethan starts to move towards Ryan, but Baron stops him.
"Hi, I'm Baron Cain, Oliver's father and your sensei's brother."
He extends his hand to Ryan.
"Yeah, I know who you are." Ryan replies, refusing to shake his hand.
"Well, good luck in the tournament, fellas." Baron says? walking away.
"Try making it to the finals. I would love to kick your ass again." Ethan says before leaving.
"Forget about him. Let's sign up." Bill tells Ryan. Ryan nods and walks towards the admissions table. He signs the paperwork and hands it to the admissions officer. Ryan and Bill shares a fist bump and walk away.
"I hope you realize we have a lot of work to do, before the tournament."
"Fine with me. Let's go."
