Diana waved her hand, the house dissappeared from the valley. Only few bags were left on the grass. Those bags were not normal bags but spatial bags that have a permanent space within. Thay are able to hold anything and weigh nothing.
In those four spatial bags were Dia and Hale's clothes and daily necessities, such as their toothbrushes. In the last two bags, one of them contained some food and hunting equipment with pots and knives for cooking.
In the last bag was some magical crystals and money, with some basic magical traps and simple weapons, such as a dagger and a crossbow. There was also books containing the spells and technique, that Martha had given them.
Diana handed them the small spatial bags and told them to leave using the portal. Dia and Hale cried which made Eggy tearful. Only Diana remained calm.
Diana looked at Eggy. She then said to Eggy, "Eggy take them away. Don't worry, this problem will end quickly, I assure you." Diana hugged Dia and Hale and gave them a fast kiss, whilst calming them down.
Dia thought with a really depressed look, "Even mother is so afraid, and this is the first time I've seen her this afraid. This is rally bad."
Dia held Hale's hand, who was not wanting to leave Diana. Dia shouted at him, "Hale we have to leave now. This is a crisis that even mother cannot control." Dia said.
Dia knew that her mother had come up with an efficient plan to escape such a precarious situation. So if they were in her way, things will not go so smoothly. Dia seems to think that the only way out, is to escape quickly.
Eggy pulled Hale with Dia into the portal. Diana looked at them and nodded at Eggy. Eggy only flashed a faint smile and then they dissappeared into the spatial portal. The portal then closed. Finally vanishing within magical dust.
Diana who was left alone on the valley looked scared but she finally calmed herself down. She looked at the top of the mountain. Six flashes of black shadows condensed on top of the mountain.
The six shadows had a very forbidding feeling. Their aura was stifling with pure killing intent. Obviously because of the large amounts of people they slaughtered. The shadows flashed a gruesome smile.
"They escaped, how quickly. I thought we did a good job in remaining hidden but it seems that the witch has not lost her touch." One of the shadows that had white sharp teeth said. They looked more like demons in pitch black robes. On the robes of the six shadows, by the sleeve of the shoulder, there was an insignia with two scythes crossed over a white skull.
"It seems we underestimated them. We let the two children escape. The master will be angry at us." The shadow in the middle announced.
Diana looked up with a creepy smile. "So you found us. I didn't expect the Crimson Blood Mansion to have such experts lingering within. I am quite scared."
"You obviously look down on us, Witch. Cut the crap, you know what we came here for. It's either your life or the treasure you stole from the Mansion Lord. But we insist in wiping out your son and daughter since we don't want, unnecessary trouble." The middle shadow spoke in his grim hollow voice whilst the other shadows laughed in an evil contemptuous laugh. While standing atop the mountain, the whole valley shuddered under the voice of the shadow.
Diana looked at them,"Don't even think about laying your filthy hands on my family!" She said while sending six spheres of green fire combined with wind and spatial magic, towards them.
The shadows had a grim expression and then they simultaneously launched forward, all acting at once. Six golden-formations formed in the air. The air trembled and the Mana was out of control. Six shields formed in the air. The shields connected to each other, forming a wide black barrier.
The spheres landed on the barrier and small cracks formed. But to Diana's surprise the cracks slowly dissappeared, as the barrier had a self-healing ability. The shadows bellowed a gruesome sound and the barrier dissappeared into nothingness.
They flicked their hands and six black scythes formed. They brushed forward and swang the scythe. A black ray of power was emitted slashing everything in its path. The grass decayed and the trees withered by such a notorious energy. It was a very oppressive and dark energy, with an extremely evil nature.
