mischief pov
its really been a long day am so tired all i want right now is to lay on ma bed and get some good sleep but unfortunately its just mid day so i still got three hours to go before the day is over am so so sleepy right now. we having a math class am so am so bored most people think am just really smart at math but the truth it i had summer school all summer so all what is being taught is just a repetition of what o already know that's why its easier for me.
i get a quick glance at Rae she is so concentrated all he focus is on the exercise being solved on tbe board. i see how she is really struggle with this subject and i just wanna help her but i guess it won't be that easy to gain her trust.
yh its true i was a bully to her and to many other people but believe it or not it was all against my will. And now i just wanna make amends for what i did i don't know how else i could tell Rae how sorry i am. just looking at her i zoned out of class and my attention was brought back as the teacher mr Oslen called me "why don't you tell us how to solve this since you seem so uninterested" i stood up looked at the board for a while to be able to assimilate what he was doing, i could feel all the eyes burning on me i walk up to the board with out a word took the chalk and solved out the problem with that i looked at Mr Oslen then just quietly moved back to my seat.
Everyone just looked at me there was silence for what felt like an eternity before Mr Oslen cleared his throat and continue explaining what i had done to the class.
i took out my mps and plugged in my earphones i was not really i the mood for class right now.
the bell rang and next we had English at least that wont be hard for me to have a little nap since Miss robert didn't really care she would always say " if you don't pay attention in my class i will teach those who do" so am just gonna get a little nap during her class
it was 10mins passed her time and miss Robert wasn't here yet i decided to then begin my nap o didn't realize but my gaze shifted to Rae she was writing something i tried looking and saw she was trying out the math assignment. something told me to go help her out but i didn't think it was a good idea. so i just decided to lay my head on the table and get my nap.
i wasn't deep at sleep yet i heard Rae ask the dude on her right if he could help her cuz she wasn't understanding. i heard them talk for a while then he said he didn't get it too at this point the urge to go help her was over powering me before i knew it i was headed towards her
"hey you need help" i asked looking down at her book
"hmm well yes i don't understand this" she said not even looking at me
so i grab a chair to side beside her
"do you mind giving me your book?" i asked and she handed over the book to me
i decided to first solve out the problem the explain each step to her. As i started solving she looked at me in shock
"wont you tell me what you are doing?" she asked with a puzzled look
"patience" i said looking at her and letting a small grin creep on my face she just shook her head and continued watching me
once i was done
"so am going to explain ever step to you now"
"ok" she said shifting closer to me i don't know why but all of a sudden i felt out of breath but i brought my self together and continued to explain
"dont you find it weird that miss Robert isn't here yet" i asked trying to make a conversation other than maths.
"yh its so unlike her to miss class" she said
"plus no other teacher has come to explain why" i said
"well i guess its good she didn't come yet if not we wont be here"
i don't know but that made my cheeks burn i had to look away sometimes i feel like she has already forgiven me but i know as we leave this class its back to normal.
i turn back to continue the lecture i was giving her once i was done i asked if she understood she said yes.
too bad this ended already i stood up and went back to my seat checking my watch i saw its just 15mins left for the class to be over i guess i could have a lil nap
i closed my eyes and off i was gone
i felt someone tapping me i my sleep and saying " hey, hey hey wake up " i looked up to see Rae i felt so embarrassed i quickly picked up my bag and was headed for the door
"Hey" i turned around to look at the empty class with only Rae
" i just wanted to say thank you for helping me out"
my cheeks started burning up again
" sure anytime" i said turning around real quick before she could see the large smile making it way on my lips.
i was soo happy i headed to the refectory i wasn't hungry but i didn't have a choice than be there cuz the dorms will only be open after meal
i went to where my friend were sitting
"what kept you so long?" Sarah asked
"i fell asleep" i said picking up her bottle of water
they all laughed at the fact that i slept in class for a lil while then we had small talks
and just like that it was over i could finally go and sleep i rushed to the dorm stripped out of my uniform and fell on my bed i thought about all the mixed feelings i had with Rae today and i wonder what all that was.
plus Rae was ranked top cutest and prettiest girl on campus and i couldn't agree more
thinking of Rae i dozed off without even realizing
