Wayne said.
"What about magic, how does that fit in, all this." I asked.
"You think the previous civilisation reached such heights of technological advancements with mind alone, magic always existed, the difference being that, it was so thin in air, that they weren't able to harness it, until their sensors were advanced enough to sense abnormalities in the surroundings, they of course had some contact with magic, before this, when the magi particles mixed with the negative energy of the dead and gave rise to ghosts, so yeah they have had encounters with magic, but weren't sure what it was. Do you know that even the smallest insect is able to manipulate magic, but just enough to maintain their daily life functions, some of them are born with the power to manipulate more magic, and hence it results in them becoming a boss and the place the call home, we call dungeons, just as they perceive us as a threat, same way as we do, this is because one who has a greater ability to manipulate magic, in this whole universe and beyond will always be the strongest and the strong always rule.
