When Morning wakes up Sasha she knew that something was wrong and Sasha wakes everyone else up.
"What's wrong Morning? I can tell something is off." Sasha would look around to see Rex wasn't here.
"Rex said that he was getting something to drink but he hasn't come back yet and I'm getting worried." Morning would point to the path that Rex had took as everyone goes to find Rex.
Everyone would separate to find Rex until Twig smelled Rex's scent on the same path that the human girl took as Twig calls them. Everyone came to Twig and smelled Rex's scent which is a bit strong there.
"Of course Rex followed the human girl's scented back to her home. Atherall it makes sense since he's very curious of humans." Sasha points out the truth of his personal life.
"I just hope he didn't get spotted by any other humans while he is there or else....he's dead." Everyone put on a look for their fears until Jet had spook.
"We should follow Rex's scent before it faints also taking risks is part of life so there could be a chance that he is okay with that human girl." Everyone would follow Jet's lead as everyone heads to the house where Rex is staying at.
The human girl's dad would talk to Rex in private even though Rex probably wouldn't understand him. However, since the Wild Crystal gave him the power to transform into a human Rex can understand the humans so much better than the other foxes.
The human male said that his name was Jacob Shine and his daughter's name was Aurora Shine. So Jacob explains to Rex that the village there in is a peaceful village that were outcast since they liked the foxes even if there dangerous.
Rex's eyes would shine since he finally found a town of people that cares about foxes and not killing them or even putting them into slaves. Rex would lift his left paw up to tell Jacob that he understands. Then Rex knew that in his heart he could trust Jacob so he started to transform into a human so Jacob can hear his story but there is one problem. Rex didn't know how to talk in human language.
Jacob's eyes widen I shocked to see Rex transform from fox to a young boy. Rex would open up his mouth but he only talks in fox language instead of human. So Jacob asks Rex to practice his language to talk in human but in return this would be there little secret.
Rex would nod as Jacob would give out his hand to Rex. Rex would get confused until he remembered that humans would do this to get friendly with each other. So Rex would carefully lift up his hand not let used to his human body as they shake hands in agreement. Jacob would get out a paper and pencil for Rex so he can also reading, writing, and talking at once. So Jacob would wrote down "Hi" then he took Rex's hands to write down the same thing for him to spell it out with his new hands.
Quickly Rex was beginning to spell and write things out and as Jacob keeps on talking Rex was starting to learn how to talk just by watching his mouth moving. The Rex would begin to say the same words slowly on the paper to see if he was getting it right or not.
"H-Hi... my n-name... is R-Rex... and it's n-nice.... to m-meet... you J-Jacob." Jacob would clap that Rex had begun to talk so they can talk together to get Rex's story. Before Rex begins to tell his story he smelled more foxes nearby as he looks out the window to see some familiar faces. Then Rex would transform back into a fox and let Jacob know that those are his friends and family.
Jacob would look but couldn't see very well at night like Rex can but Jacob would get up and open up his door then wait at the front door for Rex to talk with his fellow foxes. Rex goes out to see everyone from the cave there as he explains to them that the humans here are nice and actually likes foxes.
"So your saying that the humans here are outcast from their homes because they love foxes? That's just so mean to do that on their own kind!" Twig would look at the houses seeing that they were very old and yet can understand the meaning of being outcast.
"Yes so I believe it's best to stay here but still be hidden from the other humans until its really true that they do like us foxes." Rex would give out a good idea since they still need a new home from their own pack.
"You got a point there Rex so I'm guessing the house we are nearby is that human girl's home?" Sasha would look to see the young girl with her dad.
"Yes and I know their names its Jacob and Aurora. Which they wanted to see if they would like me to stay with them but what do you guys think? Rex would look to see they were choosing to either stay with the humans to hide or stay in the wild to hide from the humans and the pack.
Everyone would nod as they agree to stay with the humans since Rex trust them so much. As Rex was so happy he would run back to the house to see Jacob and Aurora there. Welcoming Rex and the others with open arms.
The others can see that the two humans were being very kind as they can see they had other animals in there house. Sasha and Rock would have the humans clean off there fur while everyone else waits until it's their turn to get clean off.
When both Sasha and Rock comes out of the room their fur was shiny and clean when everyone saw their fur they were happy that their fur was also going to be clean like that. It was Morning and Twig's turn to get cleaned up as they walked in.
While Rex was waiting the other pets in the house would come close to interduce themselves to them while there here. A male medium dog with black spots and white fur would talk first.
"Hello there, my name is Spots I'm one of the oldest dog that lives here in this small town and they are my owners." Spots would interduce himself as another dog would come up but female this time. Black fur with white spots around her eyes.
"Hi, I'm Raven and like Spots said they are our owners who takes care of us when little. I hope you like it here even though your foxes. Not many are around these parts anymore." Raven would back up to let a small female dog that has tan fur but a white belly.
