They ran out of the camp with Rex very injure and Rock very tired from fighting Chase. Sasha spots a small cave for them to hide in for now to treat Rex's wounds and so they can rest for a bit.
Rock laid down next to Rex very exhausted from fighting Chase. While Sasha goes out to give them something to eat. Jet would go get some water with Morning. Twig stayed with Rock and Rex to protect them while their resting.
Sasha would return with two rabbits in her mouth while both Jet and Morning returns with some water in a leaf for Rock and Rex when they wake up. The sun goes down as Rock wakes up to drink the water and rabbit to get his energy back while Rex was still sleeping.
"How can we clean up Rex's wounds? I'm sure it hurts." Everyone would go silent when Sasha said that thinking a way to clean up his wounds from the fight with their pack.
"Maybe find some herbs to help heal his wounds?" Jet said as Morning says that there wasn't any herbs that could heal his wounds in this part of the forest only in the Dark Fox Clan forest.
"Then we would have to wait until the blood dries and it heals normal without using herbs." Rock said as everyone agrees with him. When the moon came out everyone went to sleep while Sasha stays up to keep watch.
In the next morning Rex was still sleeping as Twig, Jet, and Morning went out to hunt for the group while Rock goes to look for a better hiding spot before there pack finds them. Sasha stays with Rex waiting for him to wake up.
While she was waiting Rock comes back running as he seems to be very shocked and scared.
"What's up Rock you don't normally look shock and scared unless...." Sasha would take a guess of why Rock was scared about.
"It's not the pack...but a human." Rock would see that Sasha sighed in a relief but she still ask if this human had something.
"No it's a human girl so I can't say I saw a gun on her she seems to be walking around in the forest." Rock would look at Sasha seeing that she was very calm like always.
"I think I need to see this human girl since human girls normally cares about wildlife even us foxes. I'm sure she wants to help Rex and us at least for a little." Rock would nod as Twig, Jet, and Morning came back with food.
"Me and Rock well be back stay here and look out for ant signs of the pack's parties." Everyone would nod as Rock shows Sasha where he spotted the human girl.
They run to a bush to wait as the human girl appears walking on a path as Sasha's eyes widen remembering seeing her before when Rex was little.
"It's her the same girl that got scared by the Dark Shadow Foxes when Rex attacked them when he was little." Rock would still watch the human girl as Sasha slowly walks out of the bush walking to the human girl.
Rock followed Sasha as the human girl took a step back a bit scared by them as Sasha would move her head giving the human girl a sign to follow them.
The human girl would understand the follow sign as Rock leads the way back to the others and Sasha stays close to the human girl as they run.
When they got back to the others they were shock and scare that the human girl appeared with Rock and Sasha as Rock explains to them that the human girl was there to help Rex.
They nodded as Sasha went to Rex giving a sign that he needs help. The human girl would come closer as she sees blood from the nose and neck. She would give them a sign that she would be back as she headed somewhere.
"Are you sure that we can trust Rex to a human? Even if it's a girl they are still dangerous to our kind." Morning would be protective to Rex as they stay waiting for the human girl to come back.
"Yes I'm sure it's the same little girl that Rex had save when he was little but I doubt he even remembers her although he does cares about humans even if he doesn't remembers." Sasha would tell them that the human girl is safe as the human girl returns with stuff in a bag.
The human girl would sit down next to Rex as she opens up her bag to grab a bottle of something and something else that is long and dry. The human girl would shake the bottle as she puts it on the neck wound. Stuff comes out and when she was done pouring stuff on Rex's neck she wrapped the long dry thing around his neck as she does the same thing on his nose only a little amount and a small, long dry thing as she puts it on his nose.
The human girl would put the things away as she gets up and waves bye to the fox group as she leaves them. The sun was going down as everyone but Jet sleeps. Jet was keeping a look out as Rex finally wakes up as he drinks the water that Jet and Morning brought to him.
"So your finally up Rex how are you feeling?" Jet would turn his head as he sees that Rex is up.
"Well I got a good rest but what on earth am I feeling around my neck and nose?" Rex would shake as his wound still hurts a little.
"I don't know but it's going to help you heal up more since a human girl came and put it on you." Rex's eyes would widen as his tail wags a little.
"A human girl then she would know what to do if any animal gets hurt. I'm glad that a human came here to help me since it's too dangerous to get the herbs from the Dark Fox Clan forest." Jet wasn't surprise that Rex was happy to hear a human since he likes humans even if the human kills us.
Rex goes back to sleep until the sun comes up as Jet hoes back keeping an eye out for any sign of danger.
When the sun comes up Jet went to sleep as everyone else gets up as everyone stays in the cave when the same human girl comes back to check on Rex's wounds. Rex would look at the human girl as she was very familiar to him but he doesn't know why as his neck feels better than before and the same goes with his nose.
The human girl would take off the long dry thing around his neck as the stuff crumbles falling off his neck leaving clean bite marks on his neck. She also takes the small, long dry thing off his nose as it leaves a clean scar on his nose. He would get up as he begins to walk around with three legs as the human girl takes a look at his paralyzed leg.
She doesn't know what to do with the leg but everyone would thank her for helping Rex as she waves goodbye to them.
When the human girl leaves them everyone started to think of a plan to leave the forest but somehow not be seen by any other human that hunts them down.
While everyone thinks of a plan Rex would silently follow the scent of the human girl as everyone else notices what Rex was doing.
"Where are you going Rex? You know it's dangerous to just leave somewhere when you just got healed up." Sasha would take a guess where he was going.
"Huh um I was just going to hunt for food for us before leaving the forest." Rex would smell the air for a rabbit.
"Well okay but be careful we don't know when the pack might find us here." Sasha would see Rex going to a different way to find a rabbit for the group.
Rex sniffs the air as he sees the rabbit. He leans down and crawls to get closer to the rabbit as he jumps onto the rabbit killing it but as he kills it he scenes someone nearby as he would only know that it's one of the foxes from the pack.
He quickly picks up the rabbit and runs a different path to lose the fox that could be following him. He runs to a lake as he jumps into it diving down as he swims through the river back into the forest looking to see who is following through the shadows.
He waits as a grey fox appears as it was Viper while be stomps the ground as he loss Rex so he watches Viper going back to the pack while Rex goes back to the group since Viper was very close of finding the group.
Rex returns to tell them that Viper was following him but he got away from him after jumping into the lake and swimming up the river. Rex would drop the rabbit as everyone takes a piece of the rabbit for a little of energy.
When the sun goes down and everyone sleeps Morning stays up to keep watch as Rex wakes up and goes up to Morning to ask her if he can get a drink of water. She says yes and he runs to get a drink but when he did. He was really going to follow the scent of the human girl before the scent fades.
He follows the scent as it leaves out of the forest onto a path. The scent would lead him into a house that is next to the forest as he sees the same girl taking out the trash before going to bed.
He would go up to the human girl as he wishes that his pack can stay with her. The human girl would be surprised to see the fox that she helped was here as a human man from the human girl's home comes out to see what's going on.
Rex stays calm to see the human man as the human man is happy to see him. The human man would pat his head as he wags his tail acting like a house dog. The human girl would open the door as she would like Rex to go inside before anyone else sees him and kill him.
When Rex goes inside the house he saw four dogs and three cats as the dogs comes over to sniff Rex. Rex would also sniff the dogs so the dogs knows he's friendly. Rex would look at the humans as he was happy to be the first fox to ever be in a human home.
