Chapter 18 - You Recognized the Wrong Person

Luo Tiantian hadn't even realized what was happening before she felt a sharp pain in her butt and found herself sitting on the cold, hard floor.

As for Xue Feimo…

He was sitting in the boss's chair, arms crossed over his chest, looking at her with a half-smile on his lips.

"..." Luo Tiantian.

She opened her mouth, wanting to curse him out, wanting to act spoiled and unreasonable.

But the moment she met Xue Feimo's gaze, as if he could see right through her, she instantly went speechless.

"Kid, don't push Uncle's limits, got it? If a man decides to lose control, trust me, he's not picky about his prey." Xue Feimo said, tone dripping with implication.

Luo Tiantian hugged the jersey to her chest, shrank her neck and meekly whispered, "I'm not even legal yet. I'm still a month away…"

"It's fine. Just a month. As long as you're done growing, that's good enough." Xue Feimo raised a brow at her.

"!!!" Luo Tiantian's eyes widened. "You, you, you…"

She was so wrong. So, so wrong.

This guy? Where's the pure, untouchable moonlight?

He's straight-up rotten to the core.

Not only scheming, sly, and devious, but an absolute pervert on top of it.

"Remember what's in the agreement: except for sleep, stay two meters away from me."

Xue Feimo brushed imaginary dust off his cufflinks, unhurried and composed, then lightly blew on them.

He leaned forward, closing the distance between them fast.

Luo Tiantian couldn't help scooting back, watching him with wary eyes.

"Tch." Xue Feimo sneered coldly. "Don't even think about provoking me. Otherwise…"

He paused for over ten seconds, then spoke in a lazy, ominous tone, "Deal with the consequences yourself!"

With that, he turned and went right back to his work.

The indifference on his face made it seem like none of that had happened at all.

Luo Tiantian quietly let out a breath of relief, clutching her clothes as she scrambled to her feet.

The second she left the study, that suffocating, weird magnetic field vanished, and only then did she finally relax.

"I'm never flirting with that old guy again. He's way too scary…"

Luo Tiantian mumbled as she walked back to her bedroom, heading straight for the bathroom.

The bathroom was enormous—bigger than her old bedroom, honestly.

Especially that bathtub! If she didn't know better, she'd think it was for keeping sharks in there…

Just thinking about how long it'd take to fill the tub, Luo Tiantian decisively went for a shower instead.

Once she was done, she crashed straight into bed and fell asleep.

The next few days, she never saw Xue Feimo again.

The two of them were like parallel lines—never crossing, never meeting.

The butler said Xue Feimo only came back late at night, and left before dawn every day.

Apparently, seriously busy…

As the day for her grand entertainment industry debut got closer and closer, Luo Tiantian just couldn't sit still anymore.

She hurried downstairs. "Butler, what's your young master's phone number?"

"Miss Luo, it's mealtime anyway. Why not just go find him at the company?" The butler said pointedly.

"I want to—"

Luo Tiantian was about to ask why the heck she should go to the company,

Then remembered she actually needed his help, so she switched gears. "Fine, but make something tasty. I'll bring it to him while I'm at it."

"Got it!"

The butler was thrilled and hurried off to the kitchen.

Luo Tiantian, carrying a thermal lunchbox, looked up at the towering skyscraper—over a hundred floors—and instantly felt a pang of regret.

The guy told her to keep two meters away—if she got kicked out in front of all these people, how embarrassing would that be?

She was still mulling it over when someone called out excitedly from a distance, "Candy!"

"Candy? That voice sounds so familiar…"

Luo Tiantian turned toward the voice, puzzled—and when she saw who it was, her heart immediately sank.

She couldn't help but grip the lunchbox a little tighter.

"Candy! It's me, your second brother! Don't you recognize me?"
