Zyron's POV
I stopped the car in the garage of our house and unbuckled my seat belt.
"Zyron," Savannah called softly, her voice still trembling.
"Stay here for now," I told her flatly. "You won't be safe if you go back to your condo." I stepped out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, opened her door, and helped her out. The night air was thick and heavy, the silence after the explosion still ringing in my ears. I closed the car door and guided her toward the front entrance.
The moment we entered the house, we were met by familiar faces—Xavier, Zac, their parents, and Kaidence. Everyone's eyes went straight to us.
Xavier strode forward first, his expression sharp.
"Where's my sister?" he demanded. Then his gaze shifted to Savannah. "What's she doing here?"
His mother's brows furrowed. "She's Zyron's ex-girlfriend?"
"Yes, Mom," Xavier snapped before I could speak. "She's the one he saved first instead of my sister, right?"
