Chapter 35 - TRAIN COMMAND

Hugging the child, Jeff snaps angrily, "Dad, these children have no training whatsoever."

Angry, Train said, "Maybe not, Jeff, but they are children, but you, I am ashamed of. I know you heard when Torren said he wanted to go with you, yet you purposely left him."

Looking at his dad in the eyes, he said without a glitch, "Dad, I am no babysitter."

Lasandra jumped when her father-in-law shouted at Jeff, "You are his brother."

Jeff's heart was filled with remorse for Torren, not holding back, he speaks in the same tone, "Yes, Dad, his brother, who is ashamed when every time someone asks me, how is my psycho brother doing?"

Fear fills Larsandra, seeing her Father-in-law rage when he stood up, "I never knew you felt that way about him, but since he is an embarrassment to you, and now that he is back home. I believe you should take your wife and leave, so when people ask about your psycho brother, you can easily say, I am no longer living at the mansion."

Jeff was stunned by his father's words; in all his years, he had never spoken to him in that tone nor said such hurtful words. "What are you saying, Dad?"

"Nothing much, Jeff. Torren is home to stay, and as you know, this house belongs to him. If you cannot handle the embarrassment, you are free to leave. I won't stop you, and from now on, no one takes my grandchildren anywhere; they are my burden and my responsibilities."

Calling Liz, who came running, "You call Sir?"

"Liz, from today onwards, I don't want any of my children attending to Tray and Gretta. Get another nanny to assist you, do you hear me?"

Liz can see how angry her Master was, but still pleaded for the children's sake."Sir, they are their Uncles and Aunt, how can you deny them this right?"

Train anger was unexplainable. "I know that, and you know that, but they fail to realise that?"

"Dad!" Jeff pleaded.

"I don't want to hear another word out of you. Seeing the tears in Torren's eyes made me remember all the torture and pain your mother put him through.

"And now you all are doing the same. He loves you all, yet you don't have any understanding."

"Dad, I am sorry," but his words just fell on a deaf ear as he went to his room without responding, and then slammed his door.

"Lasandra, honey, where are you going now?" Jeff calls out, seeing his wife has left his side.

"In my room, I want to be alone just like Dad. So don't bother me"

"Why are you so angry with me?" Jeff demanded.

This time it was Lasandra shouting at him, "I have told you over a hundred times to shut your mouth, you think less and talk too much, and now you have hurt Dad.

He has been trying, but you don't seem to understand. The only time you will understand is when you become a father yourself."

"Honey, please, try to understand, I love Tray and Gretta the most, and you know that, right?"

Hearing her laugh, "I have seen the way you love them. Isn't it this morning you told Dad you love Torren, and now he is an embarrassment to you?"

When his room door slams, "This is all happening because of Torren; now my wife is unhappy and angry with me."

In the van as Carl drives, he notices how Torren seems to be lost in taught.

Realising his surroundings, Torren said, "Carl, I need to go to the hospital, please."

"Are you feeling unwell, Torren?" Reaching across his hand, touching his forehead, "Torren, your skin is normal."

"I am fine, Carl, I just want to go for a minute, please, if you don't mind."

Happy he was calm and settled down after all the crying, "It's okay, buddy, I am not busy."

"Carl, you could do your errands then return for me, I won't mind."

Tapping his shoulder, he said, "I will wait, buddy. I am in no hurry when I leave home. Careen was resting comfortably."

"Is she unwell?"

"She is fine, Buddy."

Reaching the hospital, parking in a shady spot, "Okay, buddy, we are here, go and visit who you want."

Watching him walk slowly as though looking for someone, then he sits on a bench. A few times, he wipes his face like a lost child.

'Maybe this is the only place he is comfortable, and it helps him to be sane.'

Noticing a Doctor came and sat with him, it brought tears to my eyes. "Dear God, they are the only ones who understand how he feels, but if I tell Dad he is happier here, that will make him angry.

"If only Jeff could keep his temper under wraps, it would be good, and what he did today was despicable.

"I am sure it did not help. Seeing how angry Dad got when he left Torren, it was understandable; anyone would get annoyed.

"I am so worried about Careen and the unborn baby, and Dad has endured so much when Torren is hurting.

"I can't begin to imagine what Dad is feeling, knowing he never stops blaming himself for what Mom did to him."
