Upon thinking this, Jinglei didn't go to the dining room, but walked toward the front entrance, intending to walk to the street corner alone and then hail a cab to work.
But just as she reached the entrance, before she even stepped down the stairs, Feimo's voice suddenly sounded from behind.
"You're not eating?"
Her whole body tensed, and she stood frozen there.
Two seconds later, she awkwardly turned her head, looking at the man standing in the middle of the living room, seemingly just having come down from upstairs.
"I-I'm not hungry."
"Even if you're not hungry, wait for me. We'll go to the office together."
After saying this, Feimo didn't wait for her to eat but directly headed toward the dining room.
She froze for a few seconds, watching his figure disappear around the dining room's corner, then exhaled and cast a sidelong glance at where he vanished.
She's not a puppet, why should she obey his orders?
