With some hints from Gu Xin Ye, Qin Zhan managed to find her shoes.
Worried that Shen Yi Nian would come to disturb him again, Qin Zhan quickly lifted Gu Xin Ye in his arms. The sudden jerk made Gu Xin Ye yelp. Instinctively, she placed her arms around Qin Zhan's shoulder, so that she would not fall.
Gu Xin Ye looked up and saw the teasing look on Qin Zhan's face.
She narrowed her eyes before leaning to bite him lightly on the shoulder.
The angry look on Gu Xin Ye's face made Qin Zhan laugh.
"Let's go," Qin Zhan said. "We don't want to be late at the wedding."
He marched to the door and stopped on his tracks before they reached the living area.
"What's wrong?" Gu Xin Ye asked.
Qin Zhan looked at his bride and smiled again. "Just now, your friend stopped me before I could get you. She said, I have to say a few sweet words before I can take you away."
Gu Xin Ye laughed. "Then, what did you say?"
