Chapter 28 - saitama fanfic from archive chapter 2

The scene begins with the view of a branch from a peach tree, with birds flying by. It changes a few times to show shots of a city, with the people going about their lives.

"One moment." Sitch suddenly spoke up, making the scene pause. "I have a question."

"What?" Zack asked.

"These events that we're watching will happen in the future, correct?" Sitch asked, earning a nod from Zack. "When exactly will these events begin to transpire?"

"Good question." Zack said as he floated above them all. "When I return you all after the viewing, it'll be at the exact moment I brought you all here. These events will begin two days after that point."

"So the first event will happen in two days?" Flashy Flash asked.

Suddenly, an explosion comes out of nowhere in the city, sending out a large shock wave and leaving a sizable crater.

"I'd say that's a yes." Zack answered while the HA members all began to panic.

"What happened?!"

"Wait for it." Zack chuckled.

The scene closes in on a figure in the middle of the crater. It was a purple humanoid monster with pointy ears, clawed hands and feet, and two large antenna sticking out of his forehead. He then jumped high into the air and hovered there before summoning spheres of energy, which he then proceeded to launch into the city, destroying anything that they hit.

"What monster is that?!" Sekingar yelled towards Zack.

"Why are you constantly asking me things? These events haven't happened yet, so you've got time to prepare for them. And besides, they'll explain themselves in a moment." Zack explained, getting rather upset that they kept making the scene stop. "I will say this though. That monster right there? It's threat level is Dragon."

"DRAGON?!" some of the HA members yelled in horror.

"When the time comes, we must have the Class-S heroes ready to take action!" one of them declared, earning nods from the other members.

"Leave it to me. I'll swing by and take care of it." Tornado said in a bored tone before looking at the other Class-S heroes. "Just make sure you all stay out of my way, okay?"

"How about we wait until after the first episode before you guys decide to do anything?" Zack suggested. "Any other questions, because at the rate we keep stopping, we won't get past this first part."

"I got one." Saitama said while raising his hand. "What were you talking about when you said threat level Dragon? What's that all about?"

"What are you talking about? Everyone knows that monsters are all given threat levels to alert the people how dangerous they are." Metal Bat explained.

"The what now?" Saitama asked. Everyone stared at Saitama for a moment before Amai Mask spoke up.

"The Hero Association is an organization created to send those they employ as heroes to fight monsters and conduct acts of justice." he explained.

"Never heard of it."

The silence from Saitama's statement was almost deafening.

"...what?" Child Emperor finally said after a moment.

"NO MORE QUESTIONS! WE'RE WATCHING THIS NOW!" Zack bellowed, his voice causing the area to shake and everyone to cover their ears. When he was certain that they weren't going to ask anything else, Zack nodded and started the show again.

Scene now changes to a room in the Hero Association. Workers were panicking as an alarm blared and various monitors all read 'ALERT' on them.

"It's closing in!"

"Who's available?!"

"We have word that Lightning Max and Smile Man are on their way."

"Get me a threat level assessment!"

"Way to keep cool under pressure." Metal Bat muttered sarcastically under his breath.

Scene changes to Lightning Max and Smile Man lying unconscious amongst the debris, with the monster calmly walking away and causing more destruction. The scene the changes to show a camera crew, all wearing hard hats, doing a live report of the situation.

"As you can see, loud explosions are going off behind me! The damage left by the monster is at an unprecedented scale!" the reporter announced before the scene changed to show the same reporter on a TV screen, with the words 'HUGE EXPLOSION IN CITY-A' on the left side of the screen. "The Hero Association is currently analyzing the threat level-WAH-"

"That can't be good." Tank-Top Master said as the image on the screen shook for a moment before going to static.

The scene backs up from the screen to show the back of the head of a bald man, who was watching the news in the dark.

"Three guesses who that is, and the first two don't count." Zack chuckled.

"Judging by the shape and skin color, it is obviously Mr. Saitama." Genos stated, making Zack laugh at his blunt answer and lack of understanding the joke.

"Guess I'll go." Saitama said. Scene goes dark before showing Saitama approaching a doorway that had light flooding in. Scene changes to show Saitama at an angle that makes him look a bit badass, the words 'JUSTICE ENFORCEMENT' in bold letters on the screen.

"What the heck was that?" one HA member asked. "Why were those words there?"

"Because fuck you, that's why." Zack answered.

Scene changes to a spot of the city that had been destroyed, a little girl's crying being heard before showing the crying girl "DADDY! MOMMY!" she cried as she stood amongst the destruction.

Many in the room felt their hearts break at the sight on the screen. They knew that monsters left nothing but death and destruction in their wake, but it was never easy to see a child crying during or after the crisis. The one who took it the worst was Metal Bat, his thoughts going to his little sister, Zenko.

The little girl cried her eyes out, completely oblivious to the monster approaching her. He stopped next to her and looked down at her before raising his right up. It almost looked like he was about to comfort her before a sadistic chuckle escaped him, his arm and hand growing until it was larger than her. He closed his hand, but grunted in confusion when he didn't feel her body being crushed between his fingers before looking to his right. Scene changes to show the Saitama, who had rescued the little girl and set her unconscious body safely on the ground.

"I know you guys are heroes, but this is just things to come. They're not real." Zack reminded them before smiling. "Now please return to your seats."

Most of them looked to see that a lot of the heroes had jumped up to try and defend the girl, their instincts having made them forget that it was indeed not real.

"Nice reaction times though." Zack complimented as they got back to their seats.

"That was close." Tareo gasped out in relief, glad to see that the little girl didn't get hurt.

Scene shows the monster again, his hand returning to normal size. "You're a fast one. Who are you?"

"I'll admit, that was fast." Flashy Flash commented. "But nowhere near as fast as me."

Scene shows a close up on Saitama smiling before it changes to the bald hero standing up, arms crossed over his chest, cape blowing in the slight wind.

"Just a guy who's a hero for fun." Saitama answered before it showed a close up on his blank face.

"Wait, what? You became a hero...for fun?" Zombieman asked.

"Yeah. Being a hero is a hobby for me." Saitama answered, earning incredulous looks from the audience.

"That's not a very good reason to become a hero." Fubuki stated.

"Maybe, but's it my reason." Saitama stated.

"Hmph. Such a dumb reason." Tornado scoffed.

"Oh yeah? Well I know of another who considers doing hero work as a hobby." Zack said from where he was standing next to her, making her look up at him in shock. "And you know exactly who I'm talking about."

Tornado's eyes widened as a certain memory of an encounter years ago came to her mind before she turned away with a huff, though the others could all see that she was now slightly slumped in her seat. Zack looked like he was staring off into space, though in reality was looking at Blast, who had his finger over his own lips. Zack merely smiled before appearing back in his seat and starting the show again.

"You're kidding. What kind of half-assed backstory is that?" the monster scoffed before turning to face the bald man. "Mine's far superior! I was formed from the pollution man wrought upon the earth! I AM VACCINE MAN!" the monster declared while thumping his chest.

"Hmm. An odd name for a monster." Bang said.

"Monsters have all kinds of crazy names. It's not the first time you meet one with a name that doesn't make much sense." Atomic Samurai said with a smirk, earning a chuckle from the elder hero.

"The Earth is a single living organism. You filthy humans are nothing but a disease-causing bacteria, eating away at her precious life force!" Vaccine Man stated, a mixture of rage and sorrow in his voice. His body began to bulge and grow as he continued to speak. "In order to wipe out humans and their evil civilization, the Earth, in her infinite wisdom, has given birth to me! You say you do this for fun? FOR FUN?!" he yelled in outrage as he now towered over Saitama, looking far more monstrous than before.

"Is that guy gonna be okay?" Darkshine asked, worried about what may happen to Saitama. If what Zack said about that monster being a Dragon level threat, then this may get ugly. "I mean, we all saw he was fast, but is that gonna be enough to fight that thing?"

"Better question. Where are the rest of us while this monster is going around destroying City-A?" Drive Knight asked.

"Most of you were on the way, but the monster's rampage caused some interference with the comm system, so those who could get their the fastest didn't get the message." Zack explained. "And besides Smile Man and Lightning Max, there were 29 other heroes from Class C to A who tried to stall the monster. Sadly, they didn't even slow it down, nor did Vaccine Man even notice they were there."

"Shit!" Metal Bat growled.

"Everyone, burn what we're to see into your memories!" Sitch suddenly said, gaining their attention. "If what we're to see truly does come to pass, then we need to make immediate countermeasures to keep the damage as minimal as possible when we return!"

The heroes and HA members, whether vocally or silently, all agreed that that was the best course of action before they went back to watching the show.

"HOW DARE YOU CONFRONT MOTHER EARTH'S APOSTLE FOR SUCH A MINDLESS REASON! YET WHAT COULD BE EXPECTED FROM A HU-

BAAAM!

Everyone just stared at the screen, their eyes wide and mouths hanging open to different degrees. They had expected to see Saitama fight Vaccine Man. Expected to see a battle of sorts. None of them expected to see this completely random person, who had showed up out of nowhere, to not only destroy Vaccine Man, a threat level Dragon that was effortlessly wrecking City-A, with a single punch, but with a punch so strong that it blasted the smoke filling the skies away, bathing the city in sunlight once more. All while keeping that same bored look on his face, as if it was nothing at all.

Silence filled the theater. Then...

"WHAT IN THE FLYING FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!" Metal Bat roared.

That set the rest of them off, each and every one of them wondering if what they had just seen was real.

"THAT WAS SO COOL! HE JUST HIT HIM ONCE AND MADE THE MONSTER EXPLODE!" Tareo exclaimed. He may not know who Saitama is, but he sure wanted to now after witnessing that.

"I know, right?!" Zack asked in equal excitement. "Just up and BAM!"

"Incredible." one of the Hero Association executives whispered in awe.

"Well, that was unexpected." Blast mused to himself.

"Meh. Not bad." Tornado muttered to herself. She may not like the other heroes, but she wouldn't deny another's strength.

"How...How?" Amai Mask repeated, trying to find any other words to say.

"Perhaps when this is all over, we should invite this Saitama fellow to join the Hero Association." the Bespectacled Worker whispered to the other executives, earning instant approval at the idea of having a powerhouse like Saitama working for them.

"Aw man. That sucks." Saitama groaned.

"What do you mean?" Bang asked, having heard Saitama. "You sound like you didn't want to defeat the monster."

"I did, but not like that." Saitama bemoaned.

"Then how were you wanting to win?" King asked.

"You'll see~" Zack sang as the screen continued.

Saitama stood there post-punch, his fist still steaming from after hitting Vaccine Man. His bored look quickly shifted to sad, then to frustrated.

'Not again.' he thought before falling to his knees. 'All it took was one punch!'

"DAAAAAAMMMMMMIIIIIITTTTTTTT!"

"'Not again?' How many monsters have you defeated with one punch?" Tank-Top Master asked.

"Too many to count." Saitama answered, still upset at seeing himself beat another monster with just one punch.

"But why do you sound so upset about it? Isn't beating up all those monsters with just one hit awesome? It's just like those heroes on TV!" Tareo stated.

"I thought that way too when I first started out." Saitama began before Zack spoke up.

"Hang on a second! It'll explain why soon!" he said while waving his hands. "All in good time. Besides, I want you all to hear the theme song I made!"

"You made a theme song?" Watchdog Man asked.

"Yeah. Just something I put together. AND BEFORE ANY OF YOU SAY ANYTHING!" he suddenly shouted while pointing an accusatory finger at them, startling a lot of them. "Just think for a moment of all the fan art, animations, and songs you've heard your fans have made, and tell me that it's a little much."

The heroes all took a moment to think on his words before they kept their mouths shut.

"That's what I thought." Zack said before sitting down and smiling. "Now, let's watch."

Everyone turned to the screen as music began to play and images showed up on the screen.

"Brace yourselves." Zack said with a grin.

"ONE PUUUUUUUNCH!"

"One Punch Man?" Saitama said as the music picked up.

"Fits you perfectly, whether you like it or not." Zack said with a shrug as the music continued, showing various images of Saitama fighting many monsters, all while looking like awesome in the process.

The adults all watched in mild interest while Tareo watched with growing enthusiasm, treating it all like he was watching TV at home, but bigger.

"Oh! There we are!" Puri Puri Prisoner commented when all the other heroes, and Sonic, showed up on the screen.

"Not much, though." Metal Bat said, though he couldn't fight the small smile he got from the song. Fubuki was silently sulking, having not seen herself in the song at all.

"Well that's because a lot of you won't be making appearances for quite some time. Still, you all are important, so I put you in." Zack explained as the song came to an end. "So? What'd you all think?"

"Eh. Pretty cool." was Saitama's answer. "Kinda wished you didn't make me kill everything with one punch, though."

Zack stared at the bald hero before shrugging.

"Meh." was all he said before turning back to the screen.

Scene changes and shows the sky and some power lines, the words 'THREE YEARS EARLIER' showing up. A woman's scream is heard before a man yells about a monster, the scene showing two people running, one woman with a baby. Scene shows a close up of a man in a business suit and holding a briefcase. He also had messy black hair and brown eyes.

"Who is that, and why did it say three years earlier?" Sekingar asked.

"Every hero has an origin." Zack began before looking at them all with a smile, waiting for them to understand.

"Ah. So this must Saitama's then?" Bang guessed.

"Ding ding! Winner!" Zack nodded while throwing up confetti.

"Okay, but who is that?" Blizzard asked while staring up at the man on the screen.

"That's me." Saitama answered. Some of them looked at him, then back at the screen, then back at him.

"You sure?" Metal Bat asked with a raised eyebrow. "Sure don't look like you."

"Maybe it's because it's the me before I lost my hair?" Saitama shrugged before sighing. "I miss my hair."

"All will be explained." Zack said when he saw they wanted to say something.

"You alright, King?" Darkshine asked after noticing King looking away from them all.

"Yeah...I'm fine." he said in a normal voice. Zack smiled at him, knowing that King had just seen the face of the man that had saved his life once.

"What's this? Are you sure you don't wanna run away?" asked a monster. It was a tall monster that had the bottom half of a human man in nothing but briefs, but the top half was that of some kind of crab.

"Oh dear." Puri Puri Prisoner gasped, worried that the monster would attack Saitama.

"Oh gross!" Tornado groaned, grimacing at the sight of his lower half.

"Oh man. This takes me back." Saitama said with a small smile.

Scene changes to Saitama sighing, making the monster look down at him. "Bet you're a new businessman already hating the daily grind. I ate too much crab and turned into this, Crablante!" the monster introduced itself, pictures of crabs showing up while he was talking. "You should be crapping in your pants right now. Why aren't you running? Got a death wish or something? Is that it?"

"Mr. Saitama. Were you not scared at all?" Tareo asked, noticing the bored look his past self on the screen still had.

"Don't worry. I'll explain why in a second." Saitama said while pointing at the screen.

"Well, not really." Saitama answered, which make Crablante mildly curious "I'm no businessman. I'm unemployed. Right now I'm out looking for a job. I had another interview today, and got rejected royally." he explained while a man in the background walked out on the street, saw Crablante, and fled in a panic. "I couldn't care less about anything. And I'm in no mood to run just because you're here." he finished, making Crablante chuckle. "So, what happens if I don't run now?" he asked. Crablante's smile and pupils grew with deranged glee.

"This won't end well." Watchdog Man said as the audience grew fearful of what was to come. They knew that Saitama was alive since he was amongst the crowd watching, but that didn't mean he wouldn't get away unscathed.

"Your eyes are lifeless, just like mine." Crablante said while pointing his claw at Saitama's eyes. "From one set of lifeless eyes to another, I'll let you go." he said before walking past Saitama.

Or maybe he would.

"He just left you alone? Just like that?" a woman executive asked in stunned surprise.

"The first time, yeah. But not the second time." Saitama answered.

"Hey! Shhh! Spoilers!" Zack childishly whined.

"Besides," Crablante continued while looking over his shoulder at Saitama, his eyes bloodshot and full of malice "Right now, I'm hunting different prey. A brat with a big chin. And when I find him, I'm gonna rip his arms off!" he declared while he walked off and laughed, leaving Saitama to continue on his way.

"I wouldn't want to be that kid." Atomic Samurai said, knowing from the monster's tone of voice that he wasn't joking about the arm thing.

Scene cuts to a little later, showing Saitama walking down the street before looking at something. He gasped as the scene shows a little boy with a humongous chin playing with a soccer ball in a playground.

Most of the viewers who were drinking something immediately spat it out when they saw the child.

"That *pfft* that's *cough cough*" an older executive got out while having a coughing fit.

"Say it, don't spray it." Zack snickered.

"What's with all of you?" Saitama asked. "You know that kid?"

"Know him?! That's the grandchild of Agoni, the founder of the Hero Association!" Blizzard explained.

"I still don't know what that is." Saitama replied.

"Zack...please tell me that he learns what the Hero Association is." one of the executives said after taking a calming breath.

"He will, but not immediately." Zack answered. "Now shush! It's about to get good!"

"What are you looking at?" the child asked the stunned Saitama.

"A kid who looks like his chin switched places with his ass?" Zack asked, earning a round of snickers from a few when they thought about it themselves.

'A big chinned brat. If he's caught, he's dead!' Saitama thought, but asked just to make sure. "Hey kid. Were you messing with a big crab monster?"

The child looked up in thought for a moment before answering. "He was sleeping in the park, so I drew some nipples on him with my marker."

Everyone took a moment to register that before half of them facepalmed, leaving the other half to laugh.

"Oi vey." an executive groaned while rubbing his temples.

"That's hilarious!" Metal Bat chortled while Pig God took a moment to swallow his food before laughing himself.

"It does explain the strange markings we saw on Crablante's torso." Metal Knight pointed out with a smile and a light chuckle.

"What a dumbass." Tornado grunted in aggravation, wondering what person would be so stupid as to antagonize a monster like that.

"I agree, but it doesn't make it any less funny!" Zack added while laughing. He waited until they all calmed down before continuing the show.

'It's definitely him! He has no idea what he's done. What do I do? I could still help...' Saitama thought before giving the kid a bland look. 'But man, this kid isn't cute at all. It's none of my business. I should just walk away.'

"WHAT?!" Tareo yelled in horror. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"

"I agree." Amai Mask said before turning to glare at Saitama. "You were going to just leave a kid to that monster just because you thought he wasn't cute? What were you thinking?!"

"You can hear my thoughts in this, so you know what I was thinking." Saitama answered.

"He got you there." Zack laughed. "Just relax. You'll see."

'Right. I mean, who really cares?' Saitama thought as he began to walk away, leaving the child to play with his ball.

"FOUND YOU!" Crablante declared after appearing out of nowhere before swinging his arm at the child, missing and striking the ground due ot Saitama jumping in and grabbing the child out of harm's way at the last second.

'What the hell am I doing?!' he thought as Crablante glared at the two of them.

"The right thing." Drive Knight said as a few of them sighed in relief, their opinion of Saitama shifting after seeing him run back and save the child.

"Listen kid, he's after you! Get out of here!" Saitama ordered as Crablanted got closer. "Don't worry about me! Just go!"

"But...I can't. I gotta get my soccer ball!" the kid whined.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Saitama shouted incredulously.

"That kid has a monster gunning for him, and all he cares about is his soccer ball?!" Tornado yelled, wondering what was wrong with that kid.

"He's the grandson of a multi-millionaire! He could get thousands of other soccer balls!" an executive snapped.

"Honestly, I think his chin is that big because his brain oozed into it." Zack said while shaking his head at the kid's mixed up priorities.

Scene now shows Crablante stepping on the ball, popping it and making the child gasp in sadness.

"Cold eyes. What's the big idea? Don't tell me you're gonna protect that stinkin' brat!" Crablante said while he addressed Saitama, leaving the kid to lament about his ball.

"Come on, you're gonna kill him over a harmless prank? This about this!" S aitama answered, hoping the monster would see how petty it was.

"I doubt that'd work. Monsters are nothing but a bunch of mindless creatures." a female executive scoffed.

"You're best bet would be to just take the child and get both of you out of there." Darkshine said.

Crablante merely laughed at Saitama's words. "Whatever! I've killed people for a lot less! Whoever makes fun of the way I look pays the price! NO exceptions!" he said while the scene showed him walking away from a few mutilated corpses.

"Bastard!" Metal Bat growled while gripping his weapon.

"By the way, that little punk..." Crablante began before the scene switched to show him looking down at the nipples that were drawn on him. "DREW RIDICULOUS NIPPLES ON MY MANLY SHELL CHEST, AND IN PERMAMENT MARKER!" he roared before the scene switched to a close up of his right claw, foam coming out of the corners of his mouth as he continued. "I'VE GOT CLAWS! I CAN'T EVEN USE A TOWEL TO WIPE IT OFF!" The scene changed again to show Crablante pointing his left claw and inch from Saitama's face. "GET IN MY WAY, AND I'LL MAKE SURE THAT JOB INTERVIEW YOU BLEW TODAY WILL BE YOUR LAST!"

Saitama stared before lowering his head. Crablante and the child did nothing as they watched as small snickers came out of Saitama before it turned into full blown laughter.

"You are being threatened with death, but you're laughing. Why?" Genos asked.

"Just a funny memory that hit me at that moment. I couldn't help but laugh." Saitama chuckled.

"It just hit me. You look exactly like a villain from this anime I used to watch!"

This time, most of the audience just facepalmed after that.

The scene showed Saitama being sent flying after Crablante struck him, causing him to fall into a pile of garbage bags.

"I hate to sound insensitive, but I think he deserved that." Tank-Top Master said.

"You kidding? I'd have hit him harder!" Metal Bat added.

"Did that hurt?" Tareo asked.

"Oh yeah." Saitama nodded.

The child looked at where Saitama landed before looking up at Crablante in terror, the monster looming over him with his claw raised to strike.

"Die." Crablante said, making the child start to crawl backwards when he realized how much trouble he was in. The strike never came however when a rock smacked into the side of the monster's head, directing his attention away from the kid and towards and staggering Saitama.

"Hold it right there. In this age of declining birth rates, I can't just let you kill a kid." Saitama said as he got to his feet, blood dripping down his head.

"Were you trying to sound tough or something here?" Zombieman asked while most of them had raised eyebrows after seeing that.

"Nah. I was just pointing out a valid reason." Saitama answered.

The rest of them just stared before deciding to drop it and watch again.

Crablante lowered his arm, his attention fully on Saitama at that point . "You know what? When I was a boy, I wanted to be a hero." he continued, the scenes changing to show him throwing off his suit jacket, his tie now wrapped around his left hand. "Not a businessman, but a hero who could send rotten villains like you flying with one punch."

"Well, here I am. And it's not as amazing or fun as I thought it would be." Saitama said, his chin resting in his hand while looking more bored than usual.

"I still don't get why you think it's a bad thing to be that strong." Sekingar spoke up.

"Give it a moment or two. You'll see why." Zack assured.

"Screw looking for a job! BRING IT ON, CRAB!" Saitama roared, fists raised to fight.

"Alright! Time for some fighting!" Metal Bat said with a grin.

"Kick his butt, Mr. Saitama!" Tareo cheered.

"Oh, a hero, huh?!" Crablante said while raising a claw before smashing it into Saitama . "RIDICULOUS! YOU'RE PATHETIC!" the monster insulted while the scene showed Saitama taking two heavy blows, the second sending him flying and hitting the ground while Crablante approached with a mad grin. "You don't stand a chance against me!"

"That's gonna leave a mark." Atomic Samurai said while many of them winced at seeing Saitama get thrashed by Crablante.

"Where's a hero when you need one?!" an executive yelled.

"The Hero Association doesn't exist yet in this flashback." Zack pointed out. "Just keep watching, and all shall be explained."

Saitama glared up at Crablante as the monster stood over him. "Your life ends. NOW!" Crablante roared as he went for the killing blow. The scene shifted to show Saitama jumping up at the last second before using his hands to launch himself off of Crablante's claw and over the monster, his tie wrapping around the monster's eye-stalk. Crablante grunted in pain as Saitama pulled with everything he had until the eyestalk finally ripped out. Doing so caused the rest of Crablante's organs, which were connected to his eyes, to flow out in a geyser of blood and gore, all while the monster screamed in agony, all while the big chinned child just watched in awe.

"Nice! You did it!" Darkshine cheered alongside a few others.

"That was so cool!" Tareo yelled while dancing in his seat.

"Very impressive." Bang commented with a smile.

"Hmm. Perhaps he was wearing a tank-top underneath his clothing?" Tank-Top Master mumbled under his breath.

"And this is all before you attained the strength we saw earlier?" Sitch asked.

"Yeah." Saitama nodded as he looked up at the screen. "This is what inspired me to train and become a hero."

"Mmm. Crab sounds good." Pig God said, not realizing that he was now eating whole crabs, steamed and buttered, like they were potato chips.

Scene shifts to show a close up of Crablante's corpse before panning up to a battered and bleeding Saitama standing over it. Heavy breaths escaped him as he gazed at the downed monster before the scene slowly shifted to a close-up on Saitama's eye. 'Has it really been three years since then?' came his voice as a light seemed to shine from within his eye before it changed to his current bland eye.

"What was that?" Blizzard asked.

"Huh. Did my eyes really do that?" Saitama wondered while tilting his head.

"You mean you didn't know about that?" Sonic asked before glaring at Zack. "Also, can you let me out of these restraints already?!"

"Are you gonna behave?" Zack asked, sounding like he was talking to a child.

"You've already proven that I can't do anything against you, and it would be pointless to try and attack anyone else here." Sonic pointed out.

"Fair enough." Zack shrugged before snapping his fingers, making the restraints disappear.

"I was so focused on Crablante that I didn't notice." Saitama said, answering Sonic's first question.

Scene changes to show Saitama holding some packaged crab on sale. 'After that day, I trained so hard I went bald. I became so powerful, no one can beat me.'

"That's only because you haven't fought me." Tornado boasted. "I wouldn't even need three seconds against you."

*COUGH*bullshit*COUGH*" Zack hacked out, making a few smirk while Tornado glared at him. "What? I didn't say nothing...we gonna watch this or what?"

Scene zooms out to show Saitama in a supermarket, clad in his hero outfit, with other shoppers going about. 'I'm the hero I dreamed of becoming.' Scene goes to a close up of Saitama's head, which had a slight reflection on it while a woman walked by him, giving a tiny laugh before moving on. 'So what is this? What's wrong? Why does my heart feel so empty?' he mentally asked himself as he put the crab in his shopping basket and walking off, with a little boy pointing and asking who he was.

The crowd wondered what he meant by that, some of them giving him looks.

"482 yen, please." said the cashier after ringing up Saitama's purchase.

"Okay." he said while placing a 500 yen piece on the counter. "Oh, hang on." he suddenly said as he rummaged through his change purse, completely oblivious to the shaking of the store, the lights flickering, and the other shoppers starting to panic.

"Uhh...what's making that noise?" Tareo asked nervously.

"FE FI FO FUM! NEXT OPPONENT! Here it comes!" Zack answered in a deep voice, a grin coming to him at the last part, which he said in a normal tone

Scene shows Saitama rummaging through his change purse, the quakes getting louder and louder before it shifts back to show him holding out some money. "Here. I have the 82 yen." he said before noticing nobody was there. He turned and stood when he finally noticed the place was empty and the ground was violently shaking. Suddenly, something comes out of nowhere and crushes the front of the store right behind Saitama before lifting up, the area behind him showing that the street was gone. Scene changes to show Saitama walking to the edge while looking up. Scene then shifts to a bird's-eye view of a massive human shaped footprint where part of the city was.

"Dear Lord! What made that?!" an executive yelled in terror.

Scene changes to show the head and shoulders of a colossal humanoid monster. It had what looked like white bone-like armor covering his large muscles, steaming, with most of his skeleton and muscles showing. It also had two large tubes protruding from his chest, running over his shoulders to his back.

"Incredible! This is incredible, little brother!" stated a man's voice. Scene changes to a man standing on the monster's right shoulder, wearing a lab coat and having a face that looked older than he really was. Scene then changes to a test tube he was holding in his right hand, a tiny bit of unknown liquid resting in the bottom. "I never thought it would work so well."

"I see. The monster must've taken whatever was in that vial and became what it currently is." Genos said.

"And the cyborg guesses right!" Zack proclaimed.

Scene changes to show the trail of destruction left behind him from simply walking through the city.

'Yes, it's more than I even imagined, big brother.' the monster thought. Scene changes to a little earlier to show a young buff man going through multiple strenuous exercises while hooked up to machines to monitor his vitals. 'My goal was to become the strongest man in the world. The strongest man. That was my dream.'

"He certainly looks strong." Puri Puri Prisoner said with a smile, eyeing the man's muscles.

"Uh oh. He's got that look again." an executive whispered.

"Shh." another shushed them.

Scene changes to the older brother, who was standing in a lab while holding up a test tube of strange liquid and laughing. "At last, the ultimate steroid, 'Biceps King' is complete!"

"STEROID?!" Darkshine suddenly roared in outrage, startling the other viewers. "WHAT KIND OF...HOW IN...STEROIDS ARE FOR LOSERS AND LAZY PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO PUT IN THE WORK FOR THEIR MUSCLES!"

"Darkshine, calm yourself!" an executive pleaded, hoping the Class-S hero wouldn't do something rash.

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN I KNOW SOMEONE'S GOING TO CHEAT TO GET STRONG?!" Darkshine asked before being sprayed in the face by a fountain amount of water.

"That's one way." Zack said before his own cup stopped spraying and he put it back in the cup holder, leaving a stunned and very wet Darkshine to try and figure out what just happened. "Now that you're not shouting, let me remind of something. These events haven't happened yet. If you don't want to them happen in the first place, then stop it before it happens.

"Which is why I'm taking notes of what we'll see so we can take measures to counter them, if not outright stop them before they happen." Sitch said while writing in a small notepad. Darkshine didn't like the idea of steroids, but he did know that Zack was right.

"Just...tell me he gets it in the end." he said after taking a moment to calm down.

"Yep." Zack nodded before the scene continued.

Scene shows the little brother, now wearing a white top, sitting and panting after his workout while the older brother approaches.

"Little brother, drink this and you will obtain the power you've been seeking!" he declared while presenting him the test tube.

"What? Drink that?" the little brother asked as it showed a close-up of the steroid.

"Indeed! I even added strawberry flavoring to make it go down easier!" the older brother assured, making the younger brother smile.

"Alright." the little brother agreed before taking the vial and drinking in one go. He gasped in shock before his body started glowing green and growing, ripping his clothes in the process, all while the older brother smiled

"Yes, this will do!" the older brother said before the scene showed the giant walking through the city. "My brains and your brawn! By combining the greatest of minds and the strongest of bodies, we brothers will conquer everything on earth and rules as kings! WE'RE UNSTOPPABLE!" the older brother declared as the scene shifted to show the monster's height, towering far higher than any of the buildings. His junk was also covered by a cloud.

"That's what you think!" Metal Bat yelled while pointing his bat at the screen. "He may be big, but that just means there's more of him for us to smash!"

"I don't know about the greatest mind, but I won't deny I'm curious about how that drug was made." Child Emperor said in an analytical tone.

Scene then shows the monster stepping on some buildings before it changes to him throwing his right arm out, the force leaving a massive amount of destruction in it's wake.

"J-Just one swing did that much damage?!" one executive said in a trembling voice.

"He's gonna destroy us all!" Tareo wailed while trembling in his seat.

"You know what? I'm not gonna bother telling them it hasn't happened yet." Zack sighed while resting his head against his fist.

"I-Incredible!" the older brother muttered in awe as the scene showed a close-up on his expression before shifting to what used to have been a city. "Well done, little brother! Thousands have perished!" he shouted exuberantly before the scene changed to show him smiling and yelling up at his brother. "Now, on to the next town to destroy it as well!"

"That doesn't make much sense. If he wants to rule the world, why would he destroy everything and kill everyone? What would he rule over then?" Saitama asked.

"Who can tell what a madman's thinking?" Zack shrugged.

Scene changes to show the giant walking away from the city and towards the next. "This! This is it, big bro. This is what I was looking for. To be the strongest man." Scene shows a close-up of one of the monster's eyes before shifting to a PA system.

"THIS IS AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION WARNING. A GIANT CREATURE HAS APPEARED IN CITY-D. THE CREATURE IS CURRENTLY HEADING TOWARDS CITY-B. ALL RESIDENTS OF THE AREA, PLEASE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY." came a woman's voice over the speakers while the scene changed a few times to show people running for their lives while a few buildings collapsed and the woman repeated her message. Scene then changes to the older brother looking down at them all with glee.

"Yes, that's right! Scatter like rats! Destroy them all!" he ordered.

"I am the strongest man, I am the strongest man, I am the strongest man." the monster repeated over and over as the scene changed to him while lowering to show his brother on his right should and Saitama on his left.

"About time you got there!" Tornado snapped when they saw Saitama was on the monster's shoulder. "What were you doing all that time?! Shining your bald head or something?!"

"And what about you? A monster that big is wrecking cities, and you're nowhere to be found." Metal Bat pointed out.

"Quiet down before I put you both in time out!" Zack warned as the scene changed to a close-up of the older brother.

"What do you think, brother?" he asked.

"Yeah, how's it feel being the strongest?" Saitama asked, making the older brother look and gasp in shock before the scene backed up to show Saitama.

"What? THERE'S SOMEONE ON YOUR SHOULDER!" he yelled while pointing at Saitama before the scene changed to a close-up of Saitama's face as he looked up at the monster.

"Put some pants on." he said.

"HAHAHA! Classic Saitama!" Zack laughed.

Scene shows an irate older brother looking up at his younger brother . "THAT GUY THERE ON YOUR SHOULDER! KILL HIM!"

Scene changes to a close-up of the monster's face for a moment before it backs up to see him smacking his right shoulder with his left hand.

"Did...did he just...?" one executive got out as they all stared at the screen.

"He didn't." another denied.

"He did." Zack snickered. "Probably should've been more specific."

The monster looked confused before bringing his left hand away from his shoulder and looking in it. Scene changes to show him looking down at his hand.

"BROTHER NOOOOOOOOOOO!" he roared in horror before the scene changed to Saitama plugging his ears, his cape billowing from the force of his scream . "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Scene changes to show the monster shaking in anger and sorrow . "ALL I WANTED WAS TO BE THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD! AND NOW THAT I FINALLY AM, I KILL MY OWN BROTHER!" he wailed before the scene changes to show Saitama smiling up at him.

"Why would you smile? There was nothing funny about that moment." Puri Puri Prisoner asked with a small glare, wondering why anyone would think killing their family was funny.

"He's not. He was smiling at the thought of fighting a monster that may have been a real challenge." Zack answered before turning to Saitama. "Ain't that right?"

"Yeah." Saitama answered before turning to the screen. "Hope he is. I mean, it would be better to stop him before he grows and starts stomping everyone, but it would be a nice fight to have."

"Don't worry. More fights to come." Zack answered before they turned back to the screen just as it zoomed in on the monster's bloodshot eye.

The monster growled as he grabbed Saitama. " I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT THIS IS YOUR FAULT! YOU'RE GONNA PAY!" He then throws Saitama at the ground with all he had, destroying a skyscraper from the force.

"How is it Saitama's fault when he's the one who smacked him like a fly?" Genos asked.

"Probably denial that it was his own fault." Atomic Samurai guessed.

Scene changes to Saitama lying in the dirt with a blank face before it changes to the monster jumping and smashing his foot on him, shaking the earth in the process . "The Strongest! BEHOLD OUR BROTHERLY POWER!" he roared as he unleashed a high-speed combo on Saitama before finishing it with one final punch, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and debris. Scene then cuts to show the monster standing over a gigantic hole in the ground and the surrounding area decimated.

"Such frightening power!" one executive whispered in terror as he and the other executives all trembled at the sight.

"I don't think any of us could walk away after that." Zombieman said while gripping the arm rests of his seat.

"That can't be! I mean, you're all Class-S! You can handle anything!" Tareo shouted, unwilling to believe that the Class-S heroes could fall to anything.

"Tch. Wake up, kid. They may be Class-S or whatever, but they're all still human." Sonic scoffed.

"Even so, they still wouldn't fall to something like that!" Tareo defended.

"Settle down." Zack said while motioning his hands to make them stop. "Let's just keep watching, shall we?"

Tareo shot the best glare he could before sagging when Sonic's glare shattered his bravado. Everyone then went back to watching the screen.

"I am the strongest!" the monster declared through his heavy breathing before he looked into his hand. Scene changes to show the bloody mess that used to be his older brother. Scene then shifts to his face covered in shadows, a tear rolling down the left eye. "So what if I am? I feel empty." he muttered as the scene shifted to an angle from inside the hole.

"You get it, right?" Saitama asked before launching himself upwards. Scene shifts to show Saitama soaring upwards until he was at eye level with the stunned monster. The scene then shifts to three different angles, each one showing Saitama punching the monster with enough force to break both the bone armor on his face and his neck, killing him and sending him tumbling.

"YOU'RE ALIVE! YOU DID IT!" Tareo cheered.

"How on earth are you alive?! You don't even look injured!" a special committee female gaped in shock.

"I know." Saitama said before sighing. "Another boring fight."

"Having overwhelming strength is...pretty boring actually." Saitama said as the scene showed him, fist smoking from the impact. The scene then showed the monster landing on City-B. "Oops!" he said before the scene cut to black, the words 'CITY-B DESTROYED' in big letters.

"Um...whoops?" Saitama said, a sweatdrop on his forehead at seeing that. "My bad."

"Note to self...have heroes scout City-D and the surrounding area." Sitch said to himself while writing in his notepad. "If we find them beforehand, then we can save both cities from destruction.

"Oh...cool." Saitama said.

"Still, that was a nice punch." Darkshine complimented. "I've been wondering. How did you get that strong?"

"I'm curious as well." Metal Knight said. "You took such a massive onslaught, yet you received no damage. How is that possible?"

"Now now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. After all, he'll explain later on, so just wait until then." Zack said.

Scene shifts to dusk of the same day, with Saitama leaving a tiny convenience store.

'There's no sign that the evils of the world are disappearing. This hasn't changed since before I became a hero. In other words, you could say that I haven't made any impact.' he thought as the scenes shifted to the area around him and on him. 'I'm not necessarily sad about that.' Scenes show him stopping and looking at a cat before approaching it. 'But there's something bothering me lately.' He kneels down and holds his hand out to the cat, but it simply runs away while he just stares at it. 'As the days pass, my emotions grow more distant.'

"Really?" Tareo asked as he looked at Saitama. "Why is that?"

"I don't really know." Saitama shrugged.

'Fear, tension, joy, anger...I feel none of them anymore.' Scene shifts to a close-up on his blank face. 'In exchange for power, maybe I've lost something essential for a human being?' he thought before he heard a crash. Scene shifts back to show the cat from before running away, then a tire rolling up and bumping into him while running over his plastic bag. Scene then shifts to a monster pulling a car apart.

"Vroom, vroom?" it said before looking over it's shoulder and seeing Saitama, who was now looking inside his bag. He laughed as he approached the bald hero. "No sense hiding if you saw me." it said before the scene shifts to show a monster that looked like a by-product of a man and a hot rod car. "I'm Super Custom YO649Z Mk. II!" it declared before going on about how he loved custom cars so much that he decked himself out and became a custom car-loving monster, though Saitama just kept on thinking to himself as he listened.

'I used to feel all kinds of emotions whirling inside me when I fought. Fear. Panic. Anger.' he thought.

"If you were thinking of getting in my way," Super Custom YO649Z Mk. II said, his eyes glowing in anger before pointing at Saitama's head, his reflection clear as day in it. "I'll put a shine on that big headlight of yours-"

POW!

Scene shows Saitama punching the monster to pieces with an annoyed look before it shifts to show parts of it hanging from an electric wire.

"I take it you're sensitive about your lack of hair?" Tank-Top Master asked.

"A little." Saitama answered.

"Pfft. One insult and you lose it?" Tornado scoffed, causing all but Saitama and Tareo to give her blank looks. "What?" she asked.

"You of all people have no right to criticize anyone for flying off the handle from a single insult." said Flashy Flash.

"Yeah. One word about your height and everyone worries you'll drop a building on them." Metal Bat added.

"I would not!" Tornado denied. "And stop making it sound like I scare everyone around me away!"

"You do scare everyone around you away! Villains. Monsters. Fellow heroes and Hero Association members." Amai Mask counted off, which served to irk the Esper woman.

"It's probably why she's also so small." Zack spoke up before grinning. "She's so scary, she even scared puberty away."

Most of them couldn't help themselves as they laughed, with Tornado going red in the face and making her power flare up.

"None of that." Zack said before snapping his fingers, making Tornado wince and grab her head.

"What'd you just do?!" she demanded.

"Oh, nothing much." Zack said while buffing his nails on his shirt. "Just rendered your powers inert for the rest of this episode.

"You what?!" Tornado screamed before she tried to use her powers, only to feel absolutely nothing. "N...No way." she breathed while looking down at her hands. "I...can't feel my power at all."

"I'll return them when we get to the next viewing if you can prove you won't try to attack anyone with them for the rest of this one. Alright?" Zack said, giving her the chance to regain her power.

"...Fine." she grit out before turning back to the screen.

'But now, all I need is one punch to end it.' he thought before the scene shifts to show that the eggs he bought were all broken. "Guess I'll have eggs over rice tonight." he decided as the scene shifts to show him walking onwards. The scene then shifted to show an apartment building, a light coming on a moment later.

"Is that where you live?" Bang asked.

"Yeah. It's not much, but it's all I need." Saitama answered. "The water and electricity work despite it being an abandoned area."

"You sound like you live in a ghost town." Watchdog Man said while scratching himself with his leg.

"Yeah, in City-Z." Saitama replied.

"What?! But that place is infested with monsters!" said the Bearded Worker.

"Yeah. So?" Saitama asked, not understanding what the big deal was.

"I'm guessing none of the monsters there are a match for you?" Atomic Samurai asked with a knowing smirk.

"Nah, not really. Any that I encounter end up dead with one punch." Saitama answered.

"Still, to squat in the middle of the ghost town? Why?" Flash Flash asked.

"It's free!" Saitama said with a smile.

"Sound is your logic. Viewing now we watch." Zack said, sounding like a certain green alien.

Scene shifts to show Saitama out of his hero costume and washing one of his gloves.

'Every night, I come home uninjured and wash my gloves.'

Scene then shifts to Saitama soaking in his bathtub, with only his knees and up to his nose visible, a little rubber ducky floating in the water.

'When I'm out fighting monsters, I never feel as if my heart's really in it.'

A few bubbles appear from under the water.

"Did you just fart?" Child Emperor asked with an 'are you for real' look.

"How should I know? It hasn't happened yet." Saitama answered. "Besides, you telling me you've never farted in your own bathtub?"

Scene shifts to Saitama in his pajamas watching TV, his dinner eaten and his bowl left out.

'I mean, I just do the hero-thing as a hobby. In other words, as long as I get a kick out of it, that's all that matters.' he thought before turning off the lights and turning in for the night.

Many of them didn't approve of his reasoning for being a hero, considering it a mere hobby. Still, that did mean that he would come and fight if he heard about trouble happening, so there was that.

Scene shows that morning has come and shows a few calm scenes before a crashing sound scatters some birds on a wire. Shift to Saitama sleeping, a snot bubble coming out of his nose while he drooled.

"Behold. Hero-us Bald-icus, sleeping in his natural habitat." Zack whispered, making it sound like a nature documentary.

"Oi!" Saitama snapped, making Zack and a few others chuckle.

Saitama's bubble pops before he suddenly sits up just in time to have a huge brown hand reach through the wall and grab his head. He punches it off and stands up, only to be punched and launched through the wall, through the building, and out onto the street. He landed on his feet and skid to a stop before staring up at what used to be his home.

"MY HOUSE?!" Saitama yelled at the same time his on-screen self did.

"Maybe you should consider moving to a less monster filled area?" Drive Knight suggested.

Scene then shows a humanoid creature coming out of the ground behind Saitama. Saitama turns and raises his arms to block the attack, but is flung away by the blow and sent flying, hitting a guard rail along the way before smashing into a bridge support. Scene then does a close-up of the ground, showing drops of blood dripping down before the scene shifts to show Saitama getting to one knee, a cut above his left eye.

Many of the audience gasped at the sight of the familiar red liquid.

"I'm...I'm bleeding?" Saitama asked in astonishment.

"No way. That gigantic monster from earlier didn't even scratch you, but that thing did?" Metal Bat gaped in shock.

"If that creature actually managed to hurt you, then..." Sitch began, dreading the thought of something that strong existing.

Scene shifts to show the creature that had attacked Saitama standing before the bald hero. It was a large creature with brown skin, two toes on each foot, three fingers on each hand, and had a strange helmet on his head, a metallic wristband on his right wrist, and an bracelet over his left ankle.

'He's tough.' Saitama thought as he glared up at him . "What the hell are you?"

"'What' am I? That's rude. We are the true earthlings." the monster answered.

"Did you say 'we?'" Saitama asked.

"I believe you call us 'Subterraneans'. We suffer from overpopulation." Scene shifts to show various other Subterraneans of different shapes and sizes popping up out of the ground everywhere. "Therefore, we must now claim the world above ground."

"Whaa! They're everywhere!" Tareo yelped.

"Calm down, kid. We'll take care of these assholes when the time comes." Metal Bat said while gripping his bat.

Scene shows the Subterraneans surrounding Saitama.

"I understand that there are many people on the surface too. As it stands, you are in our way." the monster continued.

"As if we'd simply let those filthy monsters live up here." an executive scoffed.

"Indeed. And if they try, the heroes can take care of them." another said with a chuckle.

Scene shifts to show a corpse buried under some rubble.

"Therefore, we have decided to eradicate you all." the Subterranean finished, the scene showing Saitama gasping in shock. Scene then shows a wide area of the city had been turned into smoldering rubble.

"Since we began our invasion, 70% of you surface dwellers have been killed." another Subterranean informed him.

The book slipped from Tareo's trembling hands as he stared at the screen, sweat coating his horrified expression.

"THEY KILLED HOW MANY?!" Darkshine yelled in panic.

"That can't be possible! They couldn't have beaten our Class-S heroes!" a Special Committee member denied.

"Actually, it may be quite possible." Bang said in a grim tone. "If these creatures are strong enough to hurt one as powerful as Saitama, then it may be possible that most, if not all, of us are among that 70%."

"Dear Lord." Sitch muttered in terror before rapidly writing in his notepad to gather all their available forces to counter these creatures, no matter how strong they are.

"How could we have failed so badly?" Tank-Top Master whispered to himself, his head resting in his hands and his guilt-ridden eyes staring at the ground.

"Guess you 'heroes' aren't as great as you think you are." Sonic scoffed, though he too felt disgusted at the sight of such massive death. Just because he was trained to kill didn't mean he did so to everyone and anyone he met.

Blast wasn't seen, but even he had to wonder how they could've killed so many. He knew the Class-S wouldn't die so easily from these monsters.

"This is a battle for survival. I hope you can understand that." the Subterranean continued.

"However, this is unexpected. We have encountered no surface dwellers that our punches could not kill." the first Subterranean said.

"Oh yeah? Same here." Saitama replied, the scene showing his fist clenching. "It's been too long since I've come across such worthy opponents, Subterraneans!" he finished with a smirk.

Scene shows a close-up of the Subterranean jerking it's head up, it's eyes glowing red with anger.

"We are Earthlings!" it roared as it took a swing at Saitama, who dodged at the last second before swinging back, striking it dead in the center. Nothing happened for a moment before the top half of the monster exploded into a red mist.

"What?! But how?!" another gasped in shock as the rest glared at Saitama.

"HUMAN BASTARD!" another growled as the scene shows Saitama's slightly steaming fist before panning up to show him giving them all a challenging smile.

"Oh this is gonna be good." Metal Bat grinned.

"What's with the music?" Watchdog Man asked.

"I put it and all the other songs in. Gives the viewing an extra oomph!" Zack answered.

"DIE!" one of them bellowed as it tried to smash Saitama, who jumped out of the way, jumped off another with a kick that knocked them to the ground, then used another to jump and launch himself up to the bridge, where three Subterraneans began to assemble to battle him. The scenes showed him jumping and dodging their strikes before landing in the middle of them, where all three slammed their fists down on him, the impact causing the section of the bridge their were on to detach from the rest and fall. Scene then shows a close-up of Saitama, arms blocking their combined strike, grunting from exertion. Suddenly, the color fades for a moment before his pupils flash. Scene shifts to show Saitama tripping them all with a spinning low kick before reeling his fist back and punching all three of them into a bridge support. It then changes to show the Subterraneans jumping up to fight Saitama, only to go flying off one-by-one a second later. Scene then shifts to show Saitama punching, kicking, jumping, and dodging everywhere as he battles them all.

"GET 'EM! PUNCH 'EM! KICK 'EM!" Tareo cheered while standing in his seat and throwing punches and kicks before falling out of it. He quickly got back up to continue watching the fight go on some of the heroes began to cheer. The one most excited about it all was Saitama, though he was silent with his.

Could this be it? Could this be the fight he's been wishing for?

"Hmm. I wonder if he'd be interested in martial arts." Bang mused to himself.

"King, you may have competition for the title of 'Strongest Man on Earth.'" Darkshine chuckled.

"Maybe." King answered, though he knew the answer already.

"This man is definitely Class-S material." an executive whispered to his colleagues, who all agreed with him.

"Let us hope that his strength is enough." Sekingar said.

Scene shows a much larger Subterranean landing before Saitama, his fist tearing up the ground until it hit Saitama dead on, sending him plowing through the area and resulting in a massive explosion in the distance.

Everybody was on the edge of their seats as they wondered if Saitama had survived or not. Some even turned towards Zack, who merely gave them all a silent look, telling them that he wasn't saying nothing.

Scene shifts to the Subterraneans standing around and gazing at the area that Saitama was sent to.

"It's over." one of them said.

"What was that surface dweller?" another asked.

"Who? Me?" came Saitama's voice before the scene shifted to show him walking out of the wreckage and towards them all.

Most of the audience cheered at seeing Saitama alive.

"HE'S ALIVE! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Tareo yelled, gesturing at the screen and the present Saitama.

"Looks like it." Saitama nodded with a smile, his legging twitching as he wondered what would happen next.

"Oh they are gonna get it now." Metal Bat said with a dark chuckle.

Tornado wouldn't admit it, but even she was looking forward to the Subterraneans getting their asses smacked back into the dirt.

"I'm just a guy who's a hero for fun. I never lose." Saitama said as the scene showed the Subterraneans were shocked he was alive before switching back to Saitama. "And the surface," he thumps his chest. "IS GUARDED BY ME!"

"Ooooh~" Puri Puri Prisoner said in awe, his eyes gleaming at the sight of Saitama's declaration and muscles.

Saitama, not noticing the look, suddenly felt a very bad chill up down his spine.

"What was that?" he muttered before shrugging and looking at the screen.

"Big talk for a race of vermin!" a Subterranean yelled as a group rush in and dogpile Saitama, only to be blasted away while the hero jumped high into the air. Scene shifts to him now fighting multiple giant-sized Subterraneans. The first one took two punches before it was out. The second threw a punch at him, but was redirected towards the ground by another punch of Saitama's, who then punched it away before finally touching the ground. A third shows up, but is punched away as well.

"He's knocking them around like they're nothing!" Blizzard whispered in awe.

"Not bad. Not bad at all." Atomic Samurai commented with a nod.

"Man, I need to seriously up my training to get that strong." Darkshine said to himself.

"Sooo coooool!" Tareo whispered.

Scene closes in on Saitama just as a fist finally connects before it slows down.

'What is this feeling coming over me?' he thought before punching the Subterraneans hand away. 'This wild throbbing in my heart?!' A follow-up punch knocks the Subterranean away before two others smash their fists against each other, with Saitama squished between them. 'This rush. This sensation!' Knocks both back into the ground. Scene then shows Saitama's fist ripping through Subterranean flesh before showing an image of him mid-battle. 'It's been so long, I've forgotten...THE EXHILARATION OF A REAL FIGHT!'

Scene cuts to the flow of a bloodstream to a rough image of Saitama's heart, which gives off a loud 'BA-BUMP'.

"What was that?" Tareo asked.

"If I had to guess, I'd say that what we just saw was what adrenaline feels like when it courses through a person." Bang surmised.

Scene shifts to show Saitama standing in the rain atop a mountain of Subterranean corpses, his breathing heavy from all the fighting.

"Aw yeah! You kicked ass!" Metal Bat yelled with a grin.

"Definite Class-S material." an executive whispered with a smile.

'It's all...coming back to me. This is it.' he thought.

"Well, well." came a deep voice before the scene shifted from Saitama to show a massive Subterranean burst from out of the ground behind him. It was far larger than any of the other Subterraneans, with purple magma oozing off of him and a gigantic sword in each of it's four arms. "It looks like you've been taking good care of my children, surface dweller!"

"The boss fight." King said, his heartbeat almost becoming audible.

"Come on, Mr. Saitama! You can do it!" Tareo yelled while Child Emperor bit into the lolipop he pulled from his food bucket.

Saitama himself looked ready to jump at the screen to take on the creature himself. He just hoped that he could feel the same rush his screen-counterpart was feeling when the time come.

'This is it!' Saitama thought as the scene showed a close-up of him grinning up at the monster before it changed to a close-up of the monster's face.

"Let's see how you fair against the Subterranean King!" it challenged. Scene shifts to show Saitama sprinting before jumping towards the monster.

'THIS IS THE VERY FEELING I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!' he mentally roared as the scene shifted to show an image of the two about to clash.

"This is it!" an executive mumbled, hoping that Saitama would win.

Suddenly, a faint ringing noise goes off in the background. Scene suddenly shifts to an alarm clock going off before being smashed through the floor. Scene then shifts to show Saitama lying in bed, a confused expression on his face. The scene then shifts to show the city from the sky looking perfectly fine.

The crowd confused to see the scene change out of nowhere like that.

"Hey! What gives?!" Metal Bat yelled. "Where's the fight?!"

"Sorry. There is no fight." Zack apologized. "I mean, if the alarm hadn't of woken him up, we may have seen it.

Everyone stared for a second. Then...

"THAT WAS A DREAM?!" everybody roared at him.

"Wow...you guys are loud." Zack winced while cleaning out his ear.

"Are you saying that none of that was real?!" Sitch yelled.

"Nope. All a dream. The population didn't drop by 70%. There was no massive invasion. All a dream made from Saitama's desire for a fight that didn't end with a single punch." Zack answered with a shrug before grinning. "Maybe next time."

POW!

CRASH!

Everyone blinked when Zack was suddenly sent flying out of his seat and smashed into a wall, everything from the waist up planted firmly into the wall.

"...owie." came Zack's muffled cry of pain.

"What happened?" Pig God asked. None of them could answer, for none of them could see Blast dusting his hands off before heading back to his own seat.

"Who cares?" Metal Bat grumbled while Sitch crossed out his recent notes.

"Well, at least we don't have to worry so much about an invasion." Amai Mask sighed, glad that most of the people would not get killed.

"Are you pouting Tornado?" Blizzard asked when she noticed her sister slouching in her seat, a grumpy look on her face.

"No. Go away." she grunted.

"Aww. I was really looking forward to that fight." Saitama moaned, a dark cloud hanging over his head.

Saitama had an expression of utter disappointment before blinking when the area shook.

"THE SURFACE IS OURS! YOU SURFACE DWELLERS MUST DIE!" came a shout from outside. Scene shifts to show Saitama walking to his balcony and looking down.

"Wait! There really are Subterraneans?!" Darkshine asked while the audience looked up at the screen.

Scene shifts to show a much smaller Subterranean King brandishing his four swords, with even smaller Subterraneans coming out and cheering him on.

"Aw come on! That's all there is?! A group of Class-A's could beat those things!" Metal Bat snapped in frustration.

"I AM THE SUBTERRANEAN KING!" it declared before the scene shifted to show Saitama, clad in his hero outfit, jumping off his balcony. "SURFACE DWELLERS,PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR-GWAAHH!" was all he got out before having his head caved in from saitama kicking it. Scene shifts to the army of Subterraneans staring at their downed leader in sweat and terror.

"Well that was quick." Flashy Flash said in boredom.

"ALRIGHT! BRING IT ON!" Saitama roared with an eager smile.

Scene shifts to show a white flag sticking out of the ground where the Subterraneans used to be, the words 'SORRY ABOUT THAT!' written on it.

"That was pathetic." Tornado scoffed.

Scene shifts to show Saitama staring, his face back to normal, before scratching his chin. Scene then shifts to show his cactus plant.

"I've become too strong." he stated.

THE STRONGEST MAN

"Well, that was certainly interesting." Amai Mask said before standing up. "If that's all there is, then I believe I'll take my leave."

"For once, I actually agree with you." Metal Bat said as he and the rest of them began to stand up.

"What are you babbling on about?" Zack asked, back in his seat and totally okay. "That was only the beginning. There's still so much more."

"More what? More of Saitama's dream fights?" Tank-Top Master asked with a disinterested look.

"Now hold on." Sitch spoke up. "It's true that the last fight we saw was a dream, but what about all we saw before? The destruction caused by Vaccine Man and that monster that took that steroid?"

"Now those do happen." Zack confirmed. "And there's plenty of other threats and monsters we'll be seeing. Threats that the Hero Association has been after like, say, the House of Evolution."

"The what now?" Zombieman asked, suddenly very alert.

"You wanna know?" Zack asked before smiling. "Then sit back down."

"Hey! It's the end of the first one! Give me back my powers!" Tornado demanded.

"Is that how you ask someone for something?" Zack asked while crossing his arms. "What do we say?"

"You've got to be kidding me." Tornado growled.

"Say it." Zack said.

"...please." Tornado grit out, to the amusement of many others. "Not one word of this leaves this weird place!" she snapped at them.

"Good. Good." Zack said while nodding. "Now say 'Pretty please with sugar on top.'"

Blizzard had to grab her older sister when she starting running towards him.

"I'LL KILL YOU, YOU COSMIC BASTARD!" the diminutive Esper screeched, her hands reaching to grab at Zack while screaming insults.

"NO! STOP! YOU'RE NO MATCH FOR HIM!" Blizzard begged while a few of them laughed.

"As entertaining as this is, can we please get on with the rest?" Metal Knight asked.

"Indeed. I wish to know of the dangers that we face in the future." Drive Knight added.

"Alright! Alright!" Zack chuckled before snapping his fingers, making Tornado wince. "There. Your powers are back. But don't do anything-" was all he got out before he exploded, the pieces flying in a green aura until they were gone.

"You know that won't be enough to kill him, right?" Flashy Flash asked.

"I know, but it made me feel better." she huffed before returning to her seat. They all watched the ending credits, which got Tareo bobbing his head to the song, before going back to the viewing.

Scene shifts to show a field full of cow corpses and flies. Scene then shifts to show Genos staring off into the distance after examining them before walking onward, with City-Z in the distance.

"Looks like you may be making an appearance next." King said while looking at Genos.

"And it's from there that things really start to take off." Zack said with a grin
