Chapter 19 - watching one punch man chapter 18 part 1 by fanfiction

"What's the screen talking about? King's a liar?" Child Emperor questions out loud in pure confusion as he glances around the theater looking for a response. After all, it's not like King had even said anything. In fact he'd been pretty quiet throughout their time in the theater, only occasionally offering to play video games to sate Saitama's boredom.

Zombie Man glances toward the stoic King seemingly unaffected by the screen's accusations as his eyes narrow in suspicion. "But it's not like the screen to give information randomly. If that's the case then what is King lying about?"

Metal Bat just groans in annoyance as he throws his head back. "I don't get the point of this." The punk hero then proceeds to stand up and point his bat at the ceiling. "Oi Screen! If you're listening then just tell us what the hell you're talkin about you cryptic asshole!"

Blast, much like Zombie Man, was also observing King closely as he ruminated on the matter at hand. Though he had kept track of almost all the S Class, King himself was an anomaly. In fact his strength if going by the rumors could rival even Saitama, yet no one had ever seen the man fight. "Could he be some sort of threat that the screen is warning of? But then why did the screen bring him into the theater?" Blast sneaks a brief glance over to Garou who just seemed bored and uncaring before refocusing on King. "Then again it also brought that guy here so maybe there's a point to all of this…"

"Can we just move on? I don't really know what King has to lie about, but it can't be that important can it?" Saitama mutters while picking at his ear in a bored manner.

"Oi! King! What's the stupid screen talking about? What are you hiding?" Tatsumaki, in annoyance, calls out to the stone-faced hero as the tension seems to go up a few notches.

"T-Tornado be careful, we don't want to accuse King of all people without the facts in place." Darkshine warns the short esper, much like he did in episode 11 while his muscle buddies just watch anxiously.

"Oh shut it you big scaredy cat! I can handle whatever the hell-Ah… I don't have my powers." Tatsumaki practically goes stiff at realizing she was technically defenseless at the moment. Anyone, even the associates, could pick a fight with her right now and she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Not only that, but the one damn host that was supposed to correct occurrences like this wasn't here! Fubuki glances peculiarly at her sister's pause before suddenly realizing why she had frozen. "Sis still doesn't have her powers…"

Suddenly, the King engine begins to sound outward into the theater as a few point their gazes toward the stern hero with concern.

"Hoh, King? Is there a reason you seem prepared for a battle?" Bang questions while stroking his mustache with an intrigued expression. Meanwhile, Bomb and Atomic Samurai glance at the intimidating man with peculiar looks.

"Ope. King what's going on? If you have secrets to hide you don't have to tell anyone, just relax." Saitama calls out, much to the shock of others. King on the other hand just glances at Saitama in surprise, though no one appears to notice it.

"Sensei. There is a good reason to be suspicious of King. If the Screen has chosen to force his hand then it must be integral to the future of our world. We should interrogate King while you are here to subdue him." Genos indignantly pushes, attempting to get his Master to see reason as he holds his gaze toward the suspicious individual.

"Nah. He's a good guy. Whatever secret he's hiding can't be that bad." Saitama replies while shaking his head with a neutral expression, clearly not finding any fault in King's silent behavior. The scarred man himself couldn't believe what he was hearing from the bald hero.

Genos simply stares at his Master with a serious expression before relenting and letting out a sigh. "Hai Sensei."

"While I do not think you are wrong Saitama, I believe it would be best for us to at least ask him a few things. If he does not wish to answer certain questions then we can leave it be, that should be fine no?" Fubuki states while holding a thinking pose and glancing at the still stoic hero.

"I think Ms. Fubuki has a good point. It's better to be safe than sorry." Mumen Rider responds in kind to the Blizzard of Hell's thinking. He didn't want to be suspicious of the great hero, but at the same time, the Screen seemed to be warning them of something so taking it lightly wouldn't be ideal.

Saitama just shrugs in reply while giving a deadpan expression. "It's up to him so go ask. He's chill, you guys act like he's gonna blow your head off or something."

"That's because we're not like you! He actually can just blow our heads off!" A few of the associates think to themselves with clearly unamused faces.

"Doctor, do you think King could be hiding some uber weird secret?" Mosquito Girl curiously asks while glancing over at the group.

Dr. Genus relents his observation of the scarred hero to turn to his creation before responding. "I am… unsure, however, I believe Saitama is correct. After all, King is a man full of mysteries. Perhaps even more so than Saitama himself for while he lets himself be transparent, King keeps all of his secrets close to heart."

Meanwhile, the quiet ninja duo silently analyze the situation when Sonic randomly side-eyes his seatmate before speaking. "What is your opinion on the matter? He's your idiotic co-worker after all."

The flashy ninja just scoffs in response while glancing at the stoic King. "I don't pay attention to any of the S Class, they're all far below me…" Flashy Flash pauses while narrowing his eyes at the very quiet King. "However, King has always felt like an insurmountable presence, one that I could not overcome unless I put my all into it." Flashy Flash's answer shocks Sonic to his core as the egotistical man had never once admitted such a feeling.

"Y-you're serious? You of all people admit defeat before the fight even begins?" Sonic questions incredulously as Flashy just rolls his eyes.

"I did not admit defeat and I do not fear him, I simply…" Flashy Flash begins with an irritated retort before trailing off as the screen begins to change its words once more, causing everyone to look back up in confusion.

King. If you do not tell them. You will end up worse off later.

"Ok what the actual hell is going on!? What are you hiding, you stone-faced prick!" Tatsumaki shouts out in absolute annoyance at the still silent man while pointing an accusing finger at him. Caution be damned. Besides, the baldy would probably defend them if things got down to it. Fubuki on the other hand was very worriedly glancing between her powerless sister and the intimidating King.

"Why is the screen so adamant about having him reveal whatever it is he's hiding?" Garou silently wonders to himself, now having his interest piqued by the Screen's choice of wording. Meanwhile, Tareo was just sitting anxiously with a concerned expression. Why did everything have to be so tense right now? Couldn't they just watch the future and see all the cool stuff?

While King's face remains stiff his inner emotions couldn't be more of a mess as he tries to tackle the situation without having a heart attack. "Ah shit… I can't do it. I can't handle the stress I think I might actually pass out. King engine? What a load of bullcrap! It's just my damn heart pounding like it's about to burst! Does the Screen want me to die that badly!?"

Suddenly King finds himself staring at a yellow and red suit right in front of him, prompting him to look up in befuddlement to find Saitama staring at him calmly.

"Oi, King. If you don't wanna say anything that's fine, but if you're just afraid then don't worry about it. It'll be ok." Saitama speaks in a montone yet somehow seems to make his words sound reassuring. As if he already knew what King was hiding.

While Saitama confronted King, Genos could be seen watching his Master silently, unsure as to what he could be doing. "Why does Sensei seem so intent on helping King? Has he figured something out already?"

"Wait what? King afraid? Look at the guy, he looks like he eats nails for breakfast. Literally!" Metal Bat calls out in confusion while pointing his bat at the scar faced man.

"What could Saitama-kun be implying?" Bang wonders to himself quietly while observing the situation with a neutral expression.

"That seems a bit odd Saitama, are you sure?" Mumen Rider questions in an unsure tone, slightly intrigued by what Saitama was insinuating, but also doubtful. His curiosity surrounding the scar faced individual was slightly peaked by this whole debacle, though the bald hero's reaction to it all was somehow more interesting.

Everyone's eyes were now on the two as the air seemed to still, everyone waiting for the stone-faced man to respond to Saitama's craziness with irritation.

The bald hero glances at the others who were responding with befuddlement before looking back at the man in front of him and giving him a small smile. "Nah. That's not true? Is it, King?"

King's eyes widen ever so slightly as he still attempts to keep the facade up, but slowly his stoic face breaks as tears begin to form and fall down his scarred face. "I'm so sorry Saitama… I'm no hero… I'm just a powerless fraud…"

The silence from the others is momentous as the only things that could be heard are King's sniffling and the sound of his heart beating loudly.

Almost everyone's eyes were wide as out of all the things they had expected to see in the theater, the great and mighty King crying was not one of them.

"K-King's a fraud?" Tareo stutters out in confusion, his eyes wide and fearful.

"Tch, what a pathetic hero you guys have." Garou sneers as he watches the pitiful hero whimper in sorrow. Though he was bordering the line of laughing loudly or just chucking a chair at the fake hero. Faker than the rest somehow.

"Hm. King a fraud? I would say it is impossible to believe if the evidence wasn't being shown right in front of us currently." Bang muses while observing the crying man and bald hero, waiting for what his next course of action would be.

"Haha what a joke, you're kidding right, King? Come on man, you're one of the strongest guys on Earth!" Metal Bat questions out loud with slightly deluded laughter, not accepting for a moment that King could be a fraud, but also not being able to believe his own words.

"He's not joking. Look at the guy… That's not an act." Zombie Man mutters in a cold tone, causing Metal Bat to look back down at the undead hero with a distraught expression.

"I-I don't believe it. King is powerless? How did he even make it into the hero program let alone S Class? How did he stay undetected for so long?" Child Emperor questions quietly to himself, not being able to comprehend things properly anymore.

"How can this be possible? He's defeated countless monsters and… No…" Sekingar starts out before realizing some very crucial information.

"We gave him an S Class certificate after finding him at multiple monster corpses so he never took the test. We never even saw him fight, not once…" Sitch mutters, slowly coming to the realization. All those battles and fights that were credited to him, if they weren't his… then who did they belong to? A certain bald hero's blank face comes to mind as Sitch stares forward.

Meanwhile, Tatsumaki had just been glaring at the man, oh so very much wishing she could send him into the void of space. How dare that fraud put up such a farce, mingling with the S Class like a rat. The small bit of respect she had for the whimpering man was now replaced with pure anger. Though she verbalized none of it, due to one peculiar reason. The stupid baldy hadn't said anything yet.

In a surprising turn of events Saitama chuckles as he pats the man on the shoulder. "Ah. So that's it? I guess that's pretty bad, but it's not the end of the world level of bad."

While everyone just stares at the bald hero, King in his stupor looks up at Saitama in pure confusion. "W-what? I-I lied to everyone! I-I'm a fraud! I'm just a big fat ball of lies! I even stole all your credit-" King instantly slaps a hand over his mouth at his last words while looking down at the floor with a mortified expression. He hadn't meant to say that part yet. He was supposed to work his way up to that stuff… The terrified man slowly turns his gaze upward once more to find Saitama's angry expression but… for some reason, he doesn't find any rage at all. Not even a minor bit of annoyance.

The bald hero just raises an eyebrow at the broken King while wearing a slightly befuddled expression. "So? It's just some kill credit. Not like you murdered someone." Saitama scratches the back of his head in confusion before gaining a more serious expression. "Though I do think you should probably apologize to all the heroes and people you lied to."

"HAH!? What do you mean apologize you stupid egghead!? He's a fraud! He needs to face criminal charges, dumbass!" Tatsumaki all but shouts out with her shrill voice, baffled by Saitama's words and reaction to the entire situation. She'd be floating over the bald hero and bonking him over the head if it weren't for her lack of powers at the moment.

"Sis is right. He needs to be locked up for his crimes." Fubuki scowls as she glares at King before turning her gaze to the bald hero with an unsure expression. "And more importantly, shouldn't you be a bit upset at this situation? After all, he stole your position within the S Class and your title."

"Guys it's just a dumb title, I don't care about that stuff. Also I didn't know about the association before Genos and I got by just fine." The bald hero sighs tiredly a bit before turning back to King. "Oi King whose credit did you steal? Was it just mine or others too?" Saitama questions the still teary eyed man abruptly.

"Uh… I think I only ever got credited for your kills. I never took any villains down, I just happened to be near the aftermath of all your fights. Oh and I guess a few villains surrendered to me because of my reputation." King responds, though still looking a bit confused as to what was happening. He thought he would've been dead by now. Maybe not by Saitama's hands, but he was frankly surprised no one else had tried anything. He could even feel the glare of one of the ninja's behind him the hardest and it was honestly extremely unnerving. He could also slightly hear the other ninja snickering for some reason.

"Well uh since it's my credit can't I just let him off with a warning? Kick him off S Class and let him go. That should be fine right?" Saitama calls out to the associates who just stare at him like he grew an extra head.

"But what about all the reward money from your kills? He's been using that for his own means." The glasses worker responds back, causing King to flinch.

Saitama lets out a hmm sound while holding a thinking pose and looking at the ceiling. "Man I was missing out on grocery money? Ah whatever it's fine I'm getting paid now aren't I?" Saitama glances back at Sitch who just nods. "Then that's fine too. King just apologize to the group and let's move on. Oh, and play some more video games with me. I still need to beat you at least once." The bald hero smiles a bit while pointing a nonchalant finger gun at the stunned King who just stares up at him with quite a humorous expression. "What the hell is going on? He's letting me go with just an apology!?"

"Oh come on he doesn't get any punishment!?" Tatsumaki whines out, almost like a disappointed child, as she slowly comes to the realization that the bald hero probably wasn't going to change his mind on the matter.

Genos was currently split between being furious for his mentor or just neutral since his Master seemed fine with it. Why was Sensei so calm about the entire situation? He didn't seem even a little bit upset over it. Suddenly, the Demon Cyborg gains a look of realization as he wonders to himself if the Screen had something to do with this. "Did Master know about King's secret beforehand…?"

"I-is this really ok? Are you really ok with what I've done to you? T-to everyone?" King mutters dejectedly as Saitama takes a second to think.

The bald hero blinks a couple of times before scratching his cheek. "Yeah I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't a little annoyed that you just sat there taking credit for stuff you didn't do, but then again I can't really blame you. Maybe in another universe I would've done the same thing." Saitama answers while looking back at the screen for a moment, shocking King even more.

The former hero then proceeds to stand up from his seat while shaking slightly from his nerves before getting smacked in the back lightly by Saitama who just nods and smiles a tiny bit. With King's nerves steeled he then bows to the rest of the theater at an 90 degree angle. "I'm sorry everyone. I know this apology won't mean much and I can't take back what I've done. But I truly am sorry. I will accept any punishment you see fit once the viewing is over and we return to our world."

The group of theater members seem apathetic to the fraud's apology, but hopefully things will eventually mend over once the future is revealed.

"Alright now that that's done can we move on? I wanna see the future stuff." Saitama somewhat excitedly calls out to the group who just begrudgingly nod or sigh while a few others simply remain silent.

"Sensei. I do not believe we'll be able to see the future yet as the screen has not changed even after King- actually, I do not wish to refer to you as a king when you are far from it. What is your actual name fraud?" Genos pauses before bluntly questioning the surprised man.

"My name is Koshigaya." King nervously mumbles in reply to the glaring cyborg.

Genos only gives a nod in response before returning to his explanation. "Even after Mr. Koshigaya spoke of his hidden secret, the screen has not changed. So I do not believe we'll be able to view anything yet Master."

"Ah poo. Welp, I guess we have time to play video games. Whaddya say? Ready for a rematch?" Saitama questions the still very flabbergasted King with a neutral expression.

"Uh yeah sure. I'll give you a handicap this time." King answers back slowly but surely, a small smile appearing on his face.

"Wait, hold on a sec, did I miss the whole thing?"

Yelps of surprise emanate from the theater as the Screen's voice is made known once more.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN YOU WEIRDO!" Tatsumaki shrills out in irritation at being surprised so easily. She was frickin busy taking in all the bullcrap that was happening before her.

"Wait, I thought you were here already? You were still gone?" Child Emperor questions in confusion after regathering his composure.

"My powers are back." Blast suddenly mutters, causing the others to turn to look at him opening a small portal.

"Wait, does that mean?" Tatsumaki questions to herself as she raises her hand and activates her power. "FINALLY!" The short esper begins glowing green once more as she flies up into the air while grinning excitedly.

"Ah it feels nice to have our abilities back." Fubuki mumbles while smiling and glowing a slight blue hue.

"Nice you guys have your cool magic tricks back." Saitama throws a thumbs up with his neutral expression, prompting an annoyed glare from the two espers. Tatsumaki promptly flies up to the bald hero before smacking him multiple times in the back of his head, somewhat like a mosquito, Saitama's only response being to sigh tiredly.

"Metal Knight's drone is returning online." Drive Knight randomly speaks up causing Child Emperor to turn his gaze to the drone as the red eyes gleam once more.

"I'm glad everythings getting back to normal." Pig god mutters with a smile while surprisingly not eating for once.

"Hm. I finally regained connection." Metal Knight states randomly, not even bothering to explain his absence.

"Where have you been, Metal Knight!?" Child Emperor completely ignores formalities and just goes straight to questioning.

As the drone appears to begin formulating an answer, Metal Bat's loud voice makes itself known. "Can we please let the Screen talk so he can explain whatever the hell it's been?" The teen hero grumbles loudly enough for everyone to hear, causing them to surprisingly silence for a moment. Though some a little more begrudgingly than others.

"Appreciated Metal Bat. Anyways I was off protecting the theater from an interdimensional slash. I'm sure you felt it Blast, but I had to take the more damaging abilities from you and Tornado. You because I assumed you'd portal away to find out what was going on and Tornado because well… It's Tornado."

"Shut it you stupid arrogant screen!" Tatsumaki belligerently calls out in annoyance while shaking her fist in the air. She was also currently floating above everyone comfortably.

"Wait please, hold on a minute. If that is the case then why did you take my powers? In comparison I am very much incapable of anything the other two can accomplish with their abilities." Fubuki calls out in confusion since it was all too strange why she was singled out among all the others.

"You may not be as strong as Blast or Tornado, but you have enough power to strangle an average human being faster than most could see. Not that I didn't trust Saitama to intervene, but just to be sure I took away yours too."

"What are you implying I would never-" Fubuki starts out before stopping suddenly in realization. "I would not have killed Kin-Koshigaya even in my anger! I am a hero!" The suddenly very offended Blizzard of Hell yells back.

"I know, but just to be safe I'd rather have everything than nothing. King is quite important to this timeline and him dying is something I cannot reverse. In regards to everyone else's powers I was absolutely sure that they would not have intervened. Even Flashy Flash."

At his name being mentioned the flashy ninja raises an eyebrow at how sure the entity sounded of itself. While he hadn't planned on killing the fraud the thought definitely crossed his mind. And he could've accomplished the task much faster than the mediocre esper could have. So then why was it so sure he wouldn't have gone for the kill? What a strange entity they had as a host…

"So were those messages on the screen all pre-recorded then?" Sekingar questions in curiosity while pointing at the screen still telling King to reveal his secret.

"Ah yeah. I put those there so King would be forced to talk. You guys would've found out anyway since King gets a major role from season 2 and onward. I'm still going to refer to King as King, but feel free to call him whatever you want."

"You really gave me a heart attack Screen-sama." King mumbles quietly while clutching his chest, still receiving less than pleasant gazes from some of the theater members.

"Believe it as it may you are not powerless King. You have a fairly incredible ability that will come in clutch many times in the future. I unfortunately had to break a lot of rules to get you to reveal your secret and even then it took a lot of preparation. You could also say it took quite a bit of a surprising amount of misfortune on your half as well."

King just stares up at the ceiling in bewilderment while everyone else just appears baffled. "I'm not powerless? But how? I don't have any supernatural abilities!" His entire life he'd been a nobody until he got lucky or unlucky depending on how someone viewed it. He stole a great hero's credit and became a fraud. Then the said hero forgave him even though he had every right to hate him when he revealed his secret. And now he was being told he had a superpower?

"I sadly cannot tell you what your powers are due to plot convenience. Let's just chalk it up to luck."

"Plot convenience? Really?" A random voice from the associates questions with an unimpressed tone before getting promptly ignored.

"Just know that you are not as defenseless as you seem. Anyways, for why Metal Knight was gone, the slash through dimensions actually cut through and almost hit his location. Very unlucky I know. So I took him out of his base for the time being and just implanted the previous episode's events into his mind while I dealt with the issue. Ok I think that's all, are there any other questions?"

The room remained almost silent as all their questions seemed to have been answered, until a certain shrill esper made her grievances known. "Not anything you'd be willing to share, you creep! Just get on with it!" Tatsumaki calls out while still floating a bit higher than normal.

"Ok time to bring in the new guys. I've implanted all the information from Season 1 and what King just talked about into their memories so there will be no need to explain. Be warned that Amai Mask is among the group."

"Ugh you're bringing that dumbass into the theater? Great!" Tatsumaki sarcastically growls out in great irritation while Fubuki's mood also seems to dour.

"Oh crap he might actually kill me!" King exclaims with a fearful expression retaking his face.

"Just chill, sit next to us. You can take a seat next to Genos." Saitama grins while obliviously holding a thumbs up. King just glances at the Demon Cyborg, who was currently steaming in what seemed to be irritation, before crying on the inside and moving over.

On the other hand, a certain bat-wielding hero suddenly grew very excited, forgetting the incredibly disappointing reveal that just happened a couple minutes ago. "I can't wait to see Zenko, it feels like it's been ages!" Metal Bat cheerfully cries out as Zombie Man and Child Emperor just glance at him oddly.

"Jeez, what are you? A sis-con? I don't think I've ever seen you like this." Zombie Man mutters with a grin as Metal Bat brings up his weapon, ready to be slammed down onto the undead hero's head.

"What's a sis-con? Child Emperor questions in confusion, not having heard of the term before, prompting Zombie Man to glance warily at the child prodigy.

Suddenly the door opens, conveniently saving Zombie Man from both Metal Bat's bat and Child Emperor's inquiry.

"Onii-chan! Where are you!" From the door, a small girl with similar facial features to Metal Bat and shiny black hair comes through with an indignant stance as Bad immediately drops his bat before leaping from his seat to go greet his sister.

"Zenko! I'm so glad to see you!" Metal Bat's grin is wide as he wraps his sister in a hug before lifting her up into the air while a few of the theater members awe at the adorable sight of the sibling reunion.

Suddenly Metal Bat starts getting smacked in the head repeatedly, immediately cutting off the wholesomeness. "Onii-chan why did you go off and have all this fun by yourself! You should've brought me with you!"

"Kagh! Oi Zenko stop it! I couldn't take you with me! The stupid Screen magiced me away! I didn't even know I left, I swear!" Metal Bat pleads with his irritated sister while she lets out a growl that comes off as more humorous than scary.

After a few more adorable punches the little girl she relents begrudgingly. "Tch fine! You get off with a warning onii-chan, but don't make the same mistake again! Hmph!" Zenko hmphs her head to the side as Metal Bat carries her to his section while rubbing his head. Though a saddened glance from the young Zenko toward King doesn't go unnoticed by the former hero, who just flinches.

"I like this girl heh." Tatsumaki snickers at watching Metal Bat getting verbally berated by his sister as he attempts to seat her to the side of him and away from Zombie Man and Child Emperor, not wanting them to be bothered by his easily excitable sibling.

"Sis…" Fubuki mumbles tiredly while holding a hand to her face.

"Oh my gosh are you Zombie Man and Child Emperor!?" Zenko shouts with joy as her eyes gleam brightly while being sat down in her seat. Metal Bat had valiantly relented and allowed Zenko to sit next to Zombie Man while he sat on the outside.

As the two heroes moved over to make room for Zenko, the undead hero turned to answer. "Uh yeah. Hi kid, nice to meet you." Zombie Man responds a bit stiffly, not really used to this particular situation.

"He doesn't glance at dying, but interacting with children is his weakness?" Dr. Genus almost humorously grins, prompting a spike of annoyance to go up Zombie Man's undead spine.

"Hello Zenko-chan. It's a pleasure to meet you." Child Emperor greets while holding out a hand. Zenko immediately leans over to shake said hand thoroughly as Child Emperor gets tossed. "Nice to meet you too!"

"Ok so maybe let's not bother the other heroes too much Zenko?" Metal Bat asks gentilly prompting Zenko to just sigh and let go as Child Emperor stares at her fearfully. Truly she was Metal Bat's sister.

Suddenly, another recognizable blue haired hero bursts out of the doors before immediately getting frozen in place by a higher power.

"I literally just told you not to do that if I let you go and you immediately do it again? Are you dense?"

"Unhand me vile being! I must enact proper justice against that incorrigible fraud!" Amai Mask venomously spits out causing King to pale in fear. Saitama just watches while yawning, clearly not recognizing who the person shouting before them was.

"Oi Genos, who is that again?" Saitama questions absentmindedly to the Genos who was currently just glaring at King slightly before turning to answer his Master.

"That is Class A Rank 1 Sweet Mask or Amai Mask. We met him at the soba shop Sensei, where he greeted me." Genos explains thoroughly, running Saitama's mind up to remind him.

"Ah right. That guy." Saitama mutters while sighing. Another annoying person to deal with.

"He's an annoyance, that's who he is." Tatsumaki yells out to Saitama in a still irritated tone as she floats back down to everyone's level.

"Speak of the devil and she shall appear." Saitama snickers to himself at his silent joke while Tornado just scowls, knowing well that the bald idiot most likely made a joke about her. Mumen Rider just sweat drops at the two's silent back and forth.

"UNHAND ME THIS INSTANT, FOUL ENTITY!" Amai Mask yells out indignantly, not too keen on letting this travesty go by without retribution.

"Alright, you want to be an irritation? I'll reveal YOUR secret right here and now, how about that? Let's get it over with early, ey?"

Amai Mask instantly stills and ceases his attempted movements, prompting a few curious looks from those who were listening.

"Oh this is great! Another batch of secrets! What's it gonna be this time, heroes!?" Garou cackles at the sheer hilarity of two top heroes having some obscure secrets within their vaults. One was a fake, so who was this one gonna be?

"Oh Garou…" Bang sighs while shaking his head as Bomb looks on with a disappointed expression.

"I won't reveal your secret if you leave King alone. And a plus is that you get to watch the future? Isn't that great?" The Screen sarcastically questions the nervous blue haired hero with a slightly annoyed tone.

"F-Fine. I shall remain peaceful while I am here. Do not say anything." Amai Mask finally relents as he gets set back down onto the floor from his mid leap.

"Choose a seat while I bring in the last guy."

Amai Mask promptly sits near the back left of the theater, close to the association employees who all glance at him warily.

"Even Amai Mask has secrets… If he's that fearful of it being revealed then what could it possibly be?" Sitch questions in his mind as he sneaks glances at the famous hero.

The doors finally open for one last time as an interesting individual appears. Wearing what appears to be a martial artists' uniform and having long black hair tied back into a ponytail of some sorts, the young man steps forward into the theater.

"This is Suiryu. He has a semi impactful role in the future and he's a favorite. Suiryu, introduce yourself then take a seat, we'll begin shortly."

"Sure weird screen thing. Hello all, my name is Suiryu! I'm a martial artist of great caliber and a master of the Void Fist! The pleasure is all yours!" The brash and cocky Suiryu immediately proves to be irritating to a few in the audience.

"Great, another cocky piece of work. Oi kid, is he a hero too?" Garou questions Tareo who just appears a bit confused. "No, I've never heard of a hero named Suiryu and I've never seen him before."

"Hmm. If he's not one of those weakling nobodies then he's probably just a random martial artist. More fodder for me I guess." Garous thinks to himself silently while grinning as Tareo just watches in confusion.

"Hoh? A master of the Void Fist? The Dark Body Art… Perhaps Suicho's kin?" Bang questions his sibling who seemed to be analyzing the individual.

"Indeed… He seems capable for his age. Most likely a grandchild?" Bomb comments while still observing the brash martial artist.

"Eh seems too cocky for me. The brat needs a good lesson to humble him." Atomic Samurai mutters while the two martial artists just glance at him judgmentally.

Suiryu proceeds to walk past King and right over to Saitama and Genos before standing right in front of the bald hero while wearing a cocky grin. "Nice to meet ya baldy. You know, I gotta say! All those punches were pretty impressive. But I don't believe any of it was really real, I mean look at you! Come on! I can't be the only guy who thinks this right?" The cocky young man laughs out while looking around to the people watching who just stare at him with peculiar expressions.

"So Screen, is this guy just a dumbass or?" Tatsumaki questioned out loud with a bored tone, not really in the mood for another person reaching outside of their bracket.

"No, not particularly. Though he is incredibly cocky like a certain short esper currently conversing with me right now."

The Screen's response causes a few jaws to drop while said esper just growls out in irritation. Since when did the Screen get so damn sassy?

Suiryu, ignoring the mini convo between the short esper and the entity, continues to pester the bald hero. "Why don't we have a little spar? I can show you what real strength looks like. Come on, it'll be fun." Suiryu's eyes go dark as he almost seems to glare at Saitama while a few of the heroes watch the altercation closely.

Genos, however, suddenly stands up while gripping onto Suiryu's uniform and turning his attention toward him, his heat cannons blazing as much as the anger within his eyes. "You do not challenge Master with your foolish delusions. If you wish to die I shall honor your request myself!" The cyborg's tone spits out like venom as Suiryu stares at him with a bored expression.

A red gloved hand immediately finds itself on Genos' forearm, prompting the cyborg to halt. "Genos enough, it's fine."

Genos turns his gaze toward Saitama with a surprised look while still holding onto the brash martial artist's uniform. "Master! This fool has challenged what his own eyes have seen! His disrespect toward you is not to be tolerated! Please let me handle this buffoon!"

Within the brief second that Genos' attention had become delegated elsewhere, Suiryu latches onto the cyborg's arm and proceeds to pull a move, only to be stopped by Saitama's other hand nonchalantly. The bald hero just sighs while pulling a very surprised Suiryu off of Genos before signaling to the still annoyed cyborg to release his grip which he begrudgingly does. "Can you not do that here? We have a fighting room for stuff like this. I'll take you on." Saitama answers back to Suiryu who just stares at him with a neutral expression before grinning.

"Ok enough. Suiryu, you've seen Saitama's abilities. They're not fake. You will not win. I do not care to watch you two fight twice in a row so Suiryu go sit down and watch the next season. We have a program to return to."

Saitama just throws an ok symbol as Genos sits back down, right next to a very tense King. "You shoulda just punted the brat." Tatsumaki mutters with disdain while glancing at the now stunned Suiryu, who somehow really seemed to believe that what he had seen was fake. For some reason.

"Unlike you I don't solve petty problems with my strength, Tats." Saitama retorts back in a monotone prompting a hmph and scoff from the short esper. "If it works why should I bother, stupid baldy."

"Things were getting a little heated, haha." Mumen Rider chuckles though a little forcefully. While he didn't like seeing Saitama disrespected he trusted that the bald hero would know how to handle the situation. Genos on the other hand seemed pretty upset currently.

After Suiryu swiftly finds a seat behind the ninja duo the theater silences in wait for the Screen's next words.

"Alright. So a little bit of preparation before we start. Everything that happens from here on out is from the future of your timeline if you didn't come here. So every major event will still happen, but the outcomes of it all will be changed by your present knowledge. What you do with this knowledge is completely up to you once you leave. Is that understood?"

A bunch of affirmatives ring out as the audience members slowly grow excited at the prospect of the future and what they will see. Hopefully a few key details in the future threats, but mostly. What will Saitama do?

"We'll finally see the future… What will it contain?" Genos wonders to himself while looking up to the screen with great expectations.

"Will Garou truly become a threat despite Saitama being around? What circumstances could lead to such events?" Bang ruminates quietly while gazing at his wayward former disciple.

"I need to make sure I can prevent whatever future awaits…" Blast muses while crossing his arms and glancing at the doors, curious as to what other interesting individuals could appear.

"Oh actually one more thing. Ignore any actions taken by your onscreen counterparts and try to be nice to each other. Fubuki will do some distasteful things, but try not to hold it against her. It gets annoying when you all bicker for extended periods of time."

At the mention of her name, Fubuki began to sweat nervously as a thought crossed her mind. A thought she had completely forgotten about. "Oh no… Before I came here I planned on finding Saitama myself to either recruit or eliminate him… I must've followed through with my plans! Oh who am I kidding of course I did!" Fubuki anxiously glances at the bald hero's head as she wonders how he'll react. At least she had immunity from her sister's berating now… that would be a bit of a relief.

A few give peculiar looks to what the Screen could be implying, but just nod in acceptance. Tatsumaki on the other hand glances at her sister's well hidden panic. Though she herself could easily see and feel it. Her sister was still terrible at hiding her emotions after all. Tornado lets out a sigh while noticing Fubuki's glances toward the bald hero. "What were you planning, oh sister of mine?"

"Well I guess there's gonna be a lot of fights then." Saitama smiles a bit while wondering what the future could hold for him. Hopefully he'd find a worthy opponent.

"Master, I am confident you will be able to find a suitable opponent!" Genos exclaims in a supportive tone as Saitama sweat drops before smiling a bit. "Yeah maybe, who knows?"

The scene opens to Saitama and Genos walking down the street as the two heroes converse.

"Master, where should we head next?" Genos questions while carrying a bag of groceries.

"Uhhh. Let's see... We bought the ingredients for the hot pot, right? That just leaves toilet paper and shampoo…" Saitama trails off while staring into a store window containing action figures. The camera zooms in onto a King statue overplaying his immense strength.

"Ugh… we have to deal with the stupid fraud I forgot." Tatsumaki groans in irritation as King just slumps a bit.

"Jeez, that is one overdone figure King." Saitama mutters while snickering a bit at how jacked up King appeared as an action figure.

"I didn't even ask for a figure! They just made it on their own!" King hilariously exclaims in embarrassment while praying his more personal life didn't get revealed.

"Oi do you guys have action figures too?" Saitama questions the 3 other heroes, minus Genos, near him.

"Of course I have figures! Do you even have to ask?" Tatsumaki proudly answers while flipping her hair. Meanwhile Amai Mask just watches the great Tornado of Terror's interaction with the bald hero in shock. "When did Tornado become so… conversational?"

"I do believe I have a few figures as well. Though I did not ask for them either." Fubuki mutters in response while still looking a little worried about her future meeting with the bald hero.

"I also have a figure for some reason heh heh." Mumen Rider chuckles while scratching the back of his head in slight embarrassment.

"That's cool. Maybe I'll get one someday." Saitama responds while grinning a bit at the thought of his own action figure. He always wanted one when he was younger, back when he pretended to be a hero while playing with his toys. And now… he was one.

"Huh… I guess you get one of these when you get popular. Must be nice... Getting your own figure." Saitama comments while staring at the overdone action figure.

Genos immediately pops open his phone while wearing a serious expression. "Let's contact the manufacturer."

"PFHHH. You're a riot tin-can!" Tatsumaki sputters out a laugh while smacking the stoic Genos' shoulder. Once again Amai Mask watches in shock at how casual Tornado seemed to be acting.

"Good lord Genos." Saitama mumbles while facepalming as King and Mumen Rider hide their laughter.

Saitama quickly places a hand over Genos' phone. "Nah... You're not supposed to ask them to make one yourself. Let's go."

Genos promptly nods before following his Sensei. "Yes, sir! But, where should we go, Master?"

Suddenly a loud female scream is heard as not too far away a very weird monster appears.

"What the heck is that?!" A bystander yells out in fear.

A lecherous reptilian humanoid whips his tongue around while monologuing. "I loved reptiles so much that I turned into one. I'm Tongue-Stretcher!"

A few female associates all grimace in unison. "Gross."

"They make anyone a monster nowadays." Tatsumaki mutters while rolling her eyes.

"Be glad it wasn't the fish guy you had to fight." Saitama grumbles in response prompting Tatsumaki to scowl at the disgusting thought. Mumen Rider shivers at the thought while wearing a slightly grossed out expression.

"Run away!" Another bystander yells out in a panicked tone while the others begin to flee.

"I'm not letting any of you girls get away!" The villain cackles out gleefully as his tongue stretches out towards one of the women. "You're mine! Yummy! Licky, licky, licky!"

Suddenly King appears, causing the monster to pause and glance over to the new individual. "Jeez, that startled me! Th-This vibe… That face!" The King Engine continues to beat in the background as King glares down at the monster. "H-He's no ordinary guy!"

"Pfh oh man the irony." Garou snickers while wiping an imaginary tear from his eye as Tareo just glances at the white haired martial artist with a peculiar look.

"Wow you have a pretty big rep huh?" Saitama questions in intrigue as King just nods a bit anxiously.

"It's actually pretty bad, I couldn't walk anywhere without getting mobbed sometimes." King answers while reminiscing over the many tedious grocery runs he had been on while the bald hero just sweat drops at the information. "Man, maybe I should thank King for taking the credit. That sounds annoying."

"Man... I want to quit being a hero." King mutters in his mind while wearing a dour expression.

"That guy's the strongest hero in the world!"

"It's King!"

"I knew I saw you somewhere! You're the legendary…" The lizard villain shivers in fear of King's presence.

"He'll take you out with one punch!"

"Can I have your autograph?"

"King! King!"

"King! King! King! King! King! King! King!"

The monster suddenly gets down into a bowing position on the floor before pleading for mercy. "I-I-I'm terribly sorry for what I've done!"

"So they just surrender to you? I guess that means you have a few victories under your belt, fake or not." Saitama comments randomly while Tatsumaki just scowls at how casual the bald hero was with the fraud. Like he wasn't at all the reason he lost all his credit.

"Haha yeah I guess… Though it was mostly because of your kill rep." King mutters in response while scratching the back of his head.

"Three cheers for King!"

The 3 ladies from before who had been antagonized by the monster glare down at the feeble villain. "You pervert!" "Super gross." "Take care of him, Mr. King!"

"He's starting to have a seizure while he's groveling!" A random citizen laughs out while still praising the great hero King.

"How did it come to this?" King sighs out tiredly.

"King! King! King! King!"

"You're so awesome, King."

"Did you show up because you sensed the monster, King?

"No, I was about to go shopp—" King responds before getting abruptly cut off.

"Hey, you can't just talk to King like that."

"Er, I don't really mind." King mutters, though his voice goes unnoticed.

"Could I just get a handshake?"

King suddenly dusts off his hat before putting it back on. "I'm busy. Would you mind leaving me alone?"

"W-We're terribly sorry!"

"Make way! Give him some room!"

Video Game Store Pazzulu

"Thank you very much."A person from the inside of the store exclaims as King steps out while holding a bag.

"I was able to buy it. The first-press limited edition of Heartthrob Sisters. I can never get enough of the excitement I feel as I walk home after buying a new game. I can't wait to get home and play." King self monologues to himself quietly.

The theater goes quiet as King receives a variety of stares while he silently wishes he could just disappear.

Class S Rank 7, King

Behind King, Genos and Saitama could be found in the background. "Master, I believe that gentleman is King after all."

"Hm It seems Master and I run into Mr. Koshigaya early on…" Genos notes to himself while watching the screen carefully.

"Who?" Saitama questions with a slightly confused expression.

"He was one of the heroes at the Class S gathering." Genos explains as King continues to walk off.

"The first sequel in three and a half years… I'm feeling the hype!" King continues to excitedly monologue, though this time on the inside.

THE HERO'S RETURN

"What an odd title. Which hero could the screen be speaking of?" Tank Top Master questions to his muscle buddies with curiosity.

"It is most like talking about Saitama since he is the main focus of this viewing." Darkshine answers back with a raised finger.

"That makes the most sense, but why the return? It doesn't seem like Saitama went anywhere in that short timeframe." Puri Puri wonders aloud while staring at the screen.

"So this is what you've been watching onii-chan? I missed out on so much action ugh!" Zenko adorably pouts while crossing her arms as Metal Bat sweat drops.

"Uh… you didn't miss that much kid. I'm sure the next stuff will have plenty of guts and gore." Zombie Man chuckles while explaining to the younger sibling.

Child Emperor just facepalms while Zenko appears slightly frightened at Zombie Man's phrasing before gaining a massive grin in excitement.

"Shouldn't you have used better phrasing? She's a kid you know! What if she got spooked or cried?" Child Emperor whisper-yells into Zombie Man's ear as he just shrugs in response.

"It's Metal Bat's sister, you think she isn't gonna have the same fighting spirit as him?" Zombie Man counters back to the young prodigy who just holds a finger up silently before sighing in resignation. "Fair point…"

"King. He quickly outranked you, Master and claimed your place as the strongest man in the world." Genos gives a small explanation as the duo watch the man walk off.

"Hoh…" Saitama mumbles in slight disinterest.

"It is so weird watching the future now that I think about it." Mumen Rider mutters while staring at the screen with interest.

"I think it's pretty cool. I wonder if any new supermarkets popped up." Saitama hums out curiously in response.

"Saitama I don't think this is too far into the future yet…" Fubuki answers back with a sweat drop while wondering just how far into the future the viewings would go.

"There better be some good fighting! I'm just dying to have a serious battle for once." Tatsumaki grumbles out while sounding a tad bit excited as Fubuki just stares at her sister with a deadpan.

"I still need to hope that I don't do anything rash… But knowing myself I won't let Saitama climb the ranks without my interference…" Fubuki silently thinks to herself while still glancing at the bald hero every now and then.

"However, what could he be doing around here?" Genos wonders to himself out loud when suddenly, a loud shriek is heard. "A-A monster!"

Saitama tenses slightly while Genos perks up at the panic of the citizens. "A monster? Master, we must—" The cyborg then narrows his eyes as he watches King. "No, wait… This might be a good opportunity to see King's true power. Let's see how things go."

"I guess nothing escapes your gaze huh?" King chuckles a bit sarcastically when Genos suddenly turns his head to glare at him, causing King to feel a shiver climb up his spine.

"Once I had discovered and experienced Master Saitama's strength I had a feeling you and your title were suspicious. But I never had any conclusive evidence or theory on the matter until your confession." Genos bluntly answers while Saitama just makes a slightly apologetic face to King.

"Ah… Makes sense after everything we've seen haha." King mutters back in response while letting out a nervous laugh.

King and a large robot monster stand face to face. "My moniker is G4! A machine god that the organization created. You are King, the S Class hero! Prepare to be liquidated!"

"We need to mark this target down, if left unchecked it could cause a lot of danger." The bearded worker explains quietly to his co-worker who nods while typing away at her tablet.

"I'm sure we'll be able to prevent a lot of deaths and property damage with the new information we acquire." Sekingar comments with a hopeful expression toward the future as others around him nod in agreement. Worst case scenario the Caped Baldy would be able to handle anything so they truly had nothing to worry about. Knock on wood.

Suddenly a bystander points toward the two as all the citizens stop running. "Look! It's King! King's right over there!"

"You're aware that I'm King… A Class S Rank 7 hero, and the strongest man on Earth?" The hero questions with his usual stone cold tone.

"Pfh, looks like karma caught up with you, huh fraud?" Tatsumaki snickers out a bit evilly while King just stares down at his lap with a hidden face.

Before looking back up with a complete stoic and unbothered expression. "Yeah I'm pretty sure that's just normal to be honest." King answers back with a neutral expression while sounding completely unaffected by Tatsumaki's attack.

"Hah? What do you mean?" The Tornado of Terror questions in a judgemental tone mixed in with a tiny hint of intrigue.

"Like I said earlier I for some reason attract a lot of monsters… so I get caught up in a lot of trouble similar to this. To be honest, it's a miracle I haven't died yet. You wouldn't believe how many insane situations I get caught up in." King mutters out dejectedly while the mini group around him just stares.

A wheel on the back of the robot spins before unlatching a sword as the machine god unsheathes its weapon and points it at King menacingly. "Killing you is the reason I have come!"

The loud thumping of the King Engine could be heard pounding as the scar faced hero stands unbothered by the threatening display.

"I still can't believe that everytime we heard that it was his anxiety kicking in." Metal Bat scoffs while glaring at the screen with irritation.

"I for one can't believe I never noticed anything odd about King… It's like I was blinded by sheer stupidity." Child Emperor mutters in genuine befuddlement while staring at the mentioned former hero.

"Well it's not just you, he pulled one over all of us, so don't worry kid." Zombie Man speaks to the young prodigy with a tone of understanding. As if he was trying to reassure Child Emperor on the matter.

"What the heck's that noise?"

"You've never heard of the King Engine? It's the sound you hear once King's in combat mode! It's said that there's been no monster that made it out alive after hearing that sound!"

"Listen well. This is also a test of my combat AI. I need you to fight at full strength so I can gather data." The robot states while still pointing his weapon toward the hero.

"Organization? So this must be that 3rd rate group attempting to replicate my technology… Shoddy craftsmanship." Metal Knight thinks to himself while analysing the screen a bit more carefully. Unbeknownst to anyone, Drive Knight's lone red eye narrows slightly at the screen. What could be going through that cyborg's head?

"Is this robot from the same people who created that rampaging cyborg? No… it appears too mechanical… But I shouldn't rule out the possibility." Genos notes down the appearance of the robot and its following conversation with King.

"Is this thing a robot? What the hell is this organization? I have no idea what it's talking about."

"All right, but let me go to the bathroom first. I'll only be able to fight at about half-strength if I'm holding it in. That won't give you accurate data, will it?" King explains while staring up at the mecha.

"I shall wait here for ten minutes. For every minute that you're late, I shall kill ten people. Understood?" The robot responds while pointing its sword at the people.

As the citizens begin running away again, Genos and Saitama peek around a corner of a lamppost to gaze at the robotic monster. "That monster seems pretty strong."

"I can't believe that worked…" Tatsumaki mutters while facepalming at the sheer simultaneous luck and unluck of the former hero.

"Oi Genos, you think you can handle that robot guy?" Saitama asks while turning to his disciple with a curious expression.

"I am unsure, Master. Its frame seems highly advanced, but I have also received the latest upgrades from Dr. Kuseno." Genos responds with an analytical tone while clenching his fists, carefully watching the screen for any important information or future mistakes he could make.

Genos begins to scan the robot before going into explanation for his Sensei. "Master, that appears to be a robot. A very powerful one at that. Its performance might be higher than mine. I estimate that it is at least threat level Demon and will be quite troublesome. What will King's strategy be against such a foe?"

Inside a Public Bathroom…

"It came to kill me? How did things end up like this?!" The camera pans to show King's extremely terrified expression as he cowers against the bathroom stall. "I'm scared... I'm so scared! I'm not strong! I'm a 29-year-old unemployed otaku and antisocial loser! What the hell is the 'King Engine'?! What a load! It's a bunch of bullcrap! I'm just twice, no, dozens of times more cowardly than other people!"

A few of the audience member's eyes widen at the sheer shock factor of King's panic attack. The fact that they had been led to believe that this man was the strongest made them feel idiotic.

"At least you know you're pathetic, tch." Tatsumaki scowls in irritation while watching the embarrassing moment.

"Relax Tats jeez." Saitama mutters while sighing tiredly.

"Since you didn't exact any punishment I'll be sure to attack verbally, you idiot baldy! I'm not letting him go scott free! Be happy I didn't send him into the sun!" Tatsumaki's annoyed tone is made clear along with her body language, mini anger marks appearing on her head as she glares at the fraud.

Meanwhile Mumen Rider just glances at the former hero with a sympathetic look. He was just a normal person who had made bad mistakes. But it didn't seem like he was an irredeemable monster of some kind. It was truly an unfortunate situation.

A scene begins to play as King is shown standing over a dead monster looking extremely confused. "An evil monster just happened to appear in front of me once and someone defeated it while I had my eyes closed. That coincidentally happened over and over again! That's all it is! But then the Hero Association sent me a Class S certificate, saying that I was the ultimate rookie. I mean, it's also my fault because I didn't deny it, but I never thought it'd come to this! Aw, man... I want to quit being a hero so bad."

Now it's the association's turn to receive many stares as they hide away from the embarrassing mistake.

"Man this is too funny, it just keeps getting better and better kyahaha!" Garou laughs out in amusement while Zenko just shoots the rude martial artist a glare.

Sonic just continues to glance at his seatmate with a judgemental expression while Flashy Flash simply simmers in annoyance.

A large explosion is suddenly heard going off in the distance as King looks up from his wallowing. "It's starting! Think! Think about how to get through this! No! It's impossible! It's not like my name's gonna intimidate a robot!"

The scene cuts to the outside briefly as King begins running away from the fight. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

"I'm so sorry." King silently whispers in shame despite not having committed the act yet while Genos glances over to his direction, having heard his quiet mumble.

Another explosion goes off in the distance as King glances over to the battle to find Genos in the thick of it.

"Someone's fighting it? I'm saved!" King cries out in his mind as he continues to run and hold his hoodie over his face.

The camera pans to Genos breaking the machine god's sword, causing it to crumble into pieces before the cyborg charges up a punch and shoots his fist, rocketing it into the robot monster while forming an explosion right in its face.

"It seems I may have a chance, Master." Genos smiles very briefly before returning to his stoic expression.

"Yeah, I'm sure you'll do fine." Saitama responds while giving a thumbs up.

Meanwhile Saitama just watches the battle go on a few meters away. "What is that? A rocket punch?"

The machine god leaps into the air giving Genos no time to respond as he takes on a massive stomp from the giant mecha.

A few of the non-combatants cry out and wince while hoping that the Demon Cyborg would be ok. Now that they were watching the future they had no clue if the heroes would survive their battles. It was both oddly frightening and exhilarating.

The Demon Cyborg holds the foot up with a bit of strain as Saitama continues to watch on with a neutral expression. "Oi Genos, want help?"

Genos wears a look of determination on his cracked face as electricity arcs around his body. "No. In order for me to achieve your assignment to me and rank in the top ten of Class S, I need to be able to defeat something like this on my own!" Genos exclaims valiantly as he bursts through the foot of the machine god before pummeling it with his signature Machine Gun Blows.

"Hoh, what excellent teaching. Saitama-kun made sure that Genos would be alright while giving him the opportunity to gain experience… how splendid." Bang comments while grinning slightly as he watches Genos continue to vigorously fight on.

"Yeah he's got some potential. Though, I'm pretty sure he's not doing any of that on purpose." Atomic Samurai mutters off-handedly while staring at Saitama with a judgemental expression.

"Okay. Well, see ya. Make sure you don't lose." Saitama turns to leave as he walks away with his groceries in hand.

"And he puts quite a large amount of trust in his student. Subarashi." Bomb also adds on with a chuckle as the viewing continues while Tatsumaki and Fubuki stifle the urge to shoot questioning looks at the old men behind them.

"Emergency evacuation warning. A robotic weapon is rampaging near Central Park in City M. Residents of the area should immediately evacuate." The sound system continues to blare as citizens run for their lives.

Inside of a building, King slams the door behind him as he breathes heavily in relief. "I somehow made it home safely, but… That scary robot is probably going to haunt my dreams." The camera pans around the messy room as King walks over to his T.V. "I'll just play some games and try to forget about it."

The scar faced coward proceeds to turn on his T.V as the game boots up with its intro. "They put so much work into the openings of the Heartthrob Sisters series. I can barely contain my excitement."

"Input your name, Big Brother!"

"My name, huh? It'd be too embarrassing to use my actual name. I wonder what I should use…" King contemplates while staring at the screen when suddenly.

"Why not just use King?" Saitama questions with minimal interest from behind the hero.

"PFHHH, he followed your ass to your apartment haha!" Metal Bat yells out gleefully while chuckling at the hilarious image when Zenko suddenly glances at her brother with a disappointed glare to get him to shut up.

"I forget how creepy you can be baldy, jeez." Tatsumaki mutters under her breath while feeling a shiver up her spine.

"I didn't even do that yet, how can you blame me?" Saitama questions incredulously while deadpanning at the short esper.

"Master has a valid argument Ms. Tornado." Genos adds on supportively while Saitama shoots him a thumbs up.

Tatsumaki just sighs while flicking the bald hero in the head to get him to turn back around as Mumen Rider chuckles in the background.

"Yeah, I'm not sure about using my hero name. I mean, having someone call me 'Big Brother King' is just... " King instantly turns around. "Eh?"

Saitama just stands with a small smile on his face while looking straight at King.

The scar faced man just sits with the most confused expression on his face while staring at the bald hero. "Eh... What? Who the hell is this guy? What are they doing here?"

"Your window was open." As Saitama speaks the open balcony allows a wind current to blow through comedically.

"We're on the 22nd floor…"

"You know normally I'd be surprised, but I think Mr. Saitama has changed my perspective on everything…" Tareo mutters with a dejected look as Garou just snickers at his amusing expression.

"Onii-chan can you jump that high?" Zenko questions with a curious and expectant expression as Metal Bat just nervously sighs.

"Uhhh… maybe? We can test it later if you want Zenko." Metal Bat attempts to appease his sister's intrigue while wondering if he could actually jump that high, her response being a simple hmph.

"He jumped up to the 22nd floor?" Suiryu questions while gazing at the screen with wide eyes. Could he do that if he really tried?

"Despite knowing his strength I still find it hard to believe how many events have revolved around him… It's almost like the universe is getting dragged toward his strength." Amai Mask silently thinks to himself while staring at the bald hero's shiny head.

"Hey, listen! You can't just come in here uninvited! Ahem. D-Do you know that I'm a Class S hero?" King attempts to recollect himself while facing his intruder, but fails miserably.

"Of course, I do. You're King, right?" Saitama replies with the most mundane expression on his face.

King's eyes widen as he comes to a realization. "Th-This guy is the Class B hero that was at the Class S hero meeting for some reason!"

"Could I get some tea?"

"I almost forgot Saitama was there too." Tank Top Master mutters while wondering how inconspicuous such an inhumanly strong person could be. It was like nobody even realized he was there. In hindsight, someone that strong going unnoticed for so long was truly frightening.

"Yes I even answered a few of his questions, I never realized or thought for a moment that he could be such a strong person." Puri Puri comments while recollecting the memory of the odd conversation with the severely uninformed bald hero at the time.

The camera pans back to Saitama looking over to King's T.V screen still displaying the anime avatar. "I had no idea you were interested in games like this, though."

"Input your name, Big Brother!"

"YAMETE!" King officially dies on the inside.

"You are one sad sad man, I hope you know that fraud." Tatsumaki mutters with a glare as King sighs. "I know…"

Meanwhile, Saitama picks up a game with a curious expression painting his face. "Hey, what game is this?" The bald hero flips the cover to show a mecha game. "It looks fun."

Battle Robot Galgangal

"Oh, that's an action game." King quickly explains, trying to change the subject of the conversation.

"Well that explains why he's so damn good at video games. I still couldn't believe he beat all of us…" Metal Bat mumbles dejectedly while remembering his challenge against King previously.

"Even I was surprised, I'm not a video game player, but it was pretty damn impressive." Zombie Man comments with a monotone while reminiscing the devastating defeat King's challengers had faced.

"I bet I could beat him if I run a few calculations. Nothing math can solve!" Child Emperor smugly brags with a smirk as Zombie Man, Zenko, and Metal Bat all give him an odd look.

"Do you think the kid is always like this?" Mosquito Girl whispers over to her seatmate while glancing at the child prodigy. Armored Gorilla just rolls his eyes before shrugging.

"You operate a robot and stuff?" Saitama questions.

King thoroughly nods his head while wearing a funny expression. "Yeah, exactly!"

"I see." Saitama wears a small grin.

"That's the kind of game I'm really into! I bought this thinking it was an action game, but what the heck? It's a dating sim! I guess I bought it by mistake!" King flounders on while trying to save his sinking ship as he slams the game case down onto the floor.

Saitama simply deadpans while staring down at the cover. "It totally says Heartthrob Sisters."

"Knowing how dumb you are, I would've thought you'd fall for that baldy." Tatsumaki remarks in a bored tone, prompting Saitama to just sigh.

The camera swaps to King's incredibly embarrassed expression as he yells out. "Seriously?! I totally thought it said 'Hurt the Haughty Starbusters'! Damn, they tricked me! I'll throw it away!"

"Then let's play this one." Saitama responds while holding up the mecha game and smiling.

King quickly whips around and points a finger at the game. "Yeah! That's a great idea! That one's... Er, wait… You wanna play that?"

Saitama quirks an eyebrow while looking toward King. "What? I can't? I mean, you've got time, right?"

"Who the hell is this guy? He's only a Class B, but he's super pushy and way too casual with me. I mean… I outrank him…"

Returning to Genos' battle against the machine god.

Genos' theme music plays in the background as he jumps into the air while flipping before landing on top of the robotic monster's head. "Incinerate!"

"Go Mr. Genos!" Tareo shouts out in excitement, desperately hoping the poor cyborg could get a win once again, prompting an eye roll from Garou.

"Yes! Some action!" Zenko giggles with anticipation while watching the screen with gleaming eyes, prompting a sweat drop from Metal Bat.

Genos just wears a small smile at Tareo rooting for his victory. It certainly helped his previous losses bite a bit less. He truly hoped that his Master's trust was not misplaced and that he would win this battle.

The ensuing blast bursts outward from inside of the mecha as Genos pulls off a Polnareff and backflips away before landing heroically.

"Your internal components are slag now. Your big body brought upon your downfall." The machine god's melted body slides off in heaps of liquid composites as Genos stands up from his crouched position while observing the massacre.

"Nice job Genos." Saitama praises his disciple, though receives no response, causing the bald hero to glance toward his student who just appeared to be analysing the screen with caution.

"It is not over yet, Sensei." Genos replies, prompting a surprised look from Saitama who just turns back to watch the screen.

Suddenly, a smaller body could be seen moving from amongst the wreckage as Genos' eyes widened. "The pilot? No... Its true form?"

The true form of the machine god's head and shoulders open up to reveal blaster holes as Genos tenses. "Not good!" The blaster holes then ignite and shoot our purple laser beams at the Demon Cyborg.

Back to Saitama and King's escapades.

A bunch of groans sounded out in annoyance as the exciting battle was halted in favor of watching Saitama and King.

"Whoa, King. You're super good at video games." Saitama mutters while sounding slightly impressed.

Both Saitama and King were currently sipping from juice boxes while the scarred man played nonchalantly as the bald hero watched. "I mean... I've won a few tournaments for some fighting games, but…"

"Really? So not only are you strong in real life, you're a winner in video games, too?" Saitama questions with a quirked eyebrow.

King silently side-eyes the bald man as he grows slightly annoyed. "How long does he plan on being here? Hurry up and—"

"So, why did you run away earlier?" Saitama randomly asks, causing King to spit take.

"I mean. Genos is fighting the monster now. But you're a super strong Class S hero, right? Why did you run away from the robot monster then?" King begins sweating profusely as Saitama continues to question the nervous man.

"I came here to ask you that, but you were playing video games. Did you get bored with the monster? Could it be that you're so strong that you don't want to fight anymore? Please, talk to me." Saitama's expression seemed lackluster, but a small hint of suspicion could be found as the bald hero continued his questioning.

"Damn baldy, didn't know you could put on the pressure. Color me surprised." Tatsumaki snickers while watching the on screen King's anxiety filled expression in mild amusement.

"Don't look at me, I haven't done anything yet." Saitama responds with a monotone while King just stares at the screen with a neutral face.

"Emergency evacuation warning. A giant bird has appeared above City M. Threat level Demon. Please do not go outside." The alarm begins to sound once more right outside of King's apartment.

"Another one." Saitama mutters while picking up his groceries before standing.

"I repeat…"

"That's the third warning just today. What are you going to do? I'm gonna go."

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the demonic bird comes straight toward the building and busts through.

A few eyes widened at the sheer amount of misfortune that had occurred for King. It seemed that he truly wasn't lying about the numerous monster attacks just seemingly finding him.

"That startled me. Guess the threat decided to come right to you. Maybe there's something about you that attracts monsters." Saitama mutters to himself while holding back the bird with a casual hand as King shivers with his back up against the wall.

"Hmm. Perhaps Koshigaya-kun truly is unlucky… or maybe, is it something else?" Bang muses quietly while watching the screen with intrigue.

"Is it because of god's intervention? This definitely isn't normal…" Blast wonders to himself while gazing at the screen in slight befuddlement. 2 monsters had outwardly found him with purpose. And if what Koshigaya said was true then this happened often. What a strange oddity.

"Yeah... I've always been super unlucky." King thinks to himself while closing his eyes tightly and looking away as the bird slowly but surely opens its mouth.

"What do you do in situations like this?" Saitama questions, still completely unbothered by the giant monster bird.

"But lately, it's been getting worse." King laments inwardly at his terrible luck.

"I mean, if these things are showing up at your house, you have to fight, don't you?" Saitama turns his head back nonchalantly as King just watches in pure fear.

"Uh baldy, what exactly is your future self's plan?" Tatsumaki questions with a dumbfounded expression. Why was the bald hero trying so hard to get the fraud to open up when it was already obvious?

"I dunno, but maybe the me in the future sees something else too." Saitama responded offhandedly, prompting a confused look from the Tornado of Terror.

"So it is true… Master was observant enough to find something that we are too blind to see. Is it due to his unparalleled strength?" Genos questions to himself while silently observing his Sensei.

Not too far away…

Countless purple lasers could be seen shooting into the sky as Genos continues to dodge.

"Damn it. I have to do something about these lasers!" Genos lands roughly in a stairwell as he begins looking around for a solution when his eyes land on a pair of fire extinguishers.

"Come down. My only target is King. I have no time to waste on you." The mini machine god states as it scans for Genos within the stairwell.

The camera pans back to King and Saitama.

"Please, just give me a break! That one time, then that other time, and then that other time! I just got dragged into those messes! I'm always running away." Images of various monsters defeated by Saitama show up on the screen as King cowers before them. Suddenly, a yellow suited red gloved hero walks past the scarred man. "And then someone else shows up to beat the monster!"

The aftermath of Saitama's punch is shown as King gets up with blood covering his face. "I just happened to be at those places, but everyone ends up thinking I'm the one who defeated those things! I've never even been in a fight!"

The scene comes back to the present as King cowers against his kitchen table top in fright. "King… The hero's hero. The strongest man on Earth. How do I deserve those titles? What a joke… I'm basically nothing but a giant ball of lies!"

"Damn… this is so embarrassing… But I guess I do deserve this huh?" King wonders to himself silently while recognizing that he was simply paying his dues. If anything this was a cheap price to pay for his life. He was going to make sure to pay Saitama back for his kindness.

Returning to Genos' fight, the mini machine god blasts its lasers at Genos' hiding spot, but misses as the Demon Cyborg leaps out of the smoke before throwing a fire extinguisher.

The robot quickly shoots at the projectile, causing the extinguisher to burst into a smoke cloud. While the tiny robot is distracted Genos pulls at what appears to be a hydrant in the wall before ripping the cover off and sending a torrent of water into the battlefield.

"How innovative." Bang smiles while watching the young cyborg battle his opponent in a more intelligent manner. It seemed he had grown after his past battles.

Meanwhile Genos just writes down his future self's actions while nitpicking them before noting his mistakes internally. "Reminder, inform Dr. Kuseno of a fire suppression system upgrade…"

With this, Genos shoots out his arm and wraps the mini robot with his wire.

"Stop your infernal—!" The machine god attempts to shoot its lasers before widening its eyes in shock as its systems fail. "The steam is diffusing my lasers—!"

The Demon Cyborg reels in his fresh catch as he prepares to pummel it. "It appears that you're after King, but I know someone that's stronger.

"Don't we all?" Metal Bat chuckles at the hilarity of everyone within the room having missed the insane powerhouse amongst them by just pure chance.

"It's weird to think that if we didn't come here we'd probably never find out about Saitama." Child Emperor mutters out loud while holding a thinking pose.

Mosquito Girl leans forward a bit too close for the Zombie Man's liking while looking over to the young prodigy. "Speak for yourself! I had to endure a slap from him! It was horrible!" The monster cries out dramatically as comedic tears fall down her face while the undead hero just moves to the side with an annoyed expression.

"Woah… you're alive? I thought Mr. Saitama beat you up." Zenko stares up at the monster, somehow not having noticed the two behind them when her brother had brought her to the seating.

"Uh… I'm alive, yes. I'm no longer a villain so no need to worry, little girl." The genetically enhanced monster wears an unsure expression before silently glancing at the older sibling with a what should I do look, only to receive a shrug in response.

"Hmm. Ok, but I have my eyes on you Ms. Mosquito Girl! I'll send onii-chan to defeat you if you cause any trouble! And if he's too lazy, then I'll defend the people myself!" Zenko confidently points a finger toward the surprised Mosquito Girl's face, prompting some laughter from the monster and a deeply hurt look from Metal Bat.

"Hai hai, I won't do anything while you're around you brat." Mosquito Girl huffs while returning herself to her seat as Dr. Genus just glances at his creation with a peculiar expression.

Zenko promptly turns around in her seat to retort the monster with an annoyed expression. "I'm not a brat!" The young girl yells back with an irritated tone as Metal Bat just sighs while placing a hand on his head.

Mosquito Girl just laughs evilly while holding Zenko back from attacking her with her tiny fists as Armored Gorilla side-eyes the exchange warily.

"Aren't you gonna fight, King?" Saitama questions, the monster bird's mouth opening wider.

"You've got the wrong idea! I'm not the King that society looks up to so much! I have to say it! I have to say it! If I don't say it now, he's—"

"You see, I'm actually—!" King attempts to explain when the bird monster finally lunges.

Without even a second passing Saitama nonchalantly turns back to the still terrified King. The enormous bird monster no longer in sight as the hole in the wall reveals the bright blue sky.

"Well that never gets old…" Mumen Rider chuckles while scratching the back of his head at Saitama's casual nature when dealing with threats.

"Awe… I guess it didn't last too long." The bald hero sighs in disappointment while Genos notes down the monster carefully.

"Did you really think a giant crow would provide a challenge for your crazy ass strength, baldy?" Tatsumaki questioned incredulously though felt tired from continuously asking when already knowing the answer.

"Eh, I like to be optimistic." Saitama shrugs back in response.

"I believe there is optimism and then there is simply being overly unrealistic, Saitama." Fubuki mutters in response while facepalming at the blank expression the bald hero gives.

"Seriously? So your strength and battle history are all lies?" The scene switches to show the dead bird on the pavement as King's eyes open wide.

"I guess it must be true if you pissed your pants over that bird." Saitama mutters as the camera pans to King's soiled garments.

"Wait, how is he just standing there? What happened to the bird? He…?"

"You okay?" Saitama's simple words suddenly invoke a memory in King's mind as he flashbacks to a certain day.
