"Who are you really, Dylan?"
The night air grew still as Victoria stepped forward into the pale moonlight, her hand resting lightly near the sleek hilt of the blade at her waist.
"Oh?" Dylan was taken aback, though a small part of him knew this moment was bound to happen.
'I guess this was only to be expected,' he thought, maintaining an unbothered posture as he tilted his head.
But he played dumb as he answered, "I'm not entirely sure what you mean by who I am? I'm just Dylan."
Victoria was unhurried in following up with her question. After a moment of pause, she replied, "From the moment I have interacted with your past life's self, I was sure that you were bound for greatness. Even when the Spiritual Testing Orb did not respond at all, I was firm in my belief that you are unordinary."
