"What? Don't tell me even you have no idea what's happening?" The woman named Suyi scoffed, rolling her eyes.
Before Deng Chen could answer, a squad of heavily armed security guards burst into the hallway and surrounded the group. The visitors shrank back in sheer terror at the sight of tactical weapons aimed in their direction.
"Mr Deng, what is the meaning of this? We demand an explanation!" The student leader demanded, his voice trembling.
"Silence! Everyone, follow us quietly. Do not attempt to resist." One of the guards ordered sternly.
"What is this nonsense?! You have no right to treat us like criminals!" The woman, Suyi, shouted back indignantly.
In an instant, several guards raised their rifles and pointed them straight at her head. Suyi's arrogant demeanour shattered immediately, replaced by pure terror.
"No! Please don't shoot me!" The woman, Suyi, screamed, bursting into frantic tears.
