"Sir, why are you here?" The manager asked.
"I would like to ask you about something." The police officer stated.
"Here... This is a receipt from your shop 20 years ago. May I know if you have any record of the purchase from 20 years ago?" The police officer stated.
"20 years ago?" The manager was surprised.
He had no idea about that. 20 years ago, the jewellery store was not as famous as it is today.
"I am sorry, Sir. I need to ask the owner about this matter." The manager stated.
"Can you call him now? We need to know about it now. It is one of the important leads in the case that we are currently investigating." The police officer stated.
"Yes. I will try to contact him right now." The manager nodded.
He reached for his phone on the table and dialled the owner of the store's number. It rang twice before the call had been picked up. A deep, old voice came through from the phone.
"Hello..." The person on the other line answered.
