Big brother, let's not bring it up again. He had a hard time convincing the old man as it is. Mention it again, and who knows if the old man will want An Jiaxin to get engaged early.
"What are you coughing for? Is the dish too salty? Drink more water." Old Man Xia glanced over, clearly knowing the reason for the cough and not missing the covert move under his watchful eyes.
"What's so early about getting engaged? I think it's a good idea," Old Man Xia snorted coldly.
"Dad, didn't we agree not to talk about this for now?" Chief Engineer Fu worried, hurried over to support the old master back to the living room to sit, "Let's talk about something else, something else. Let's not talk about engagement, otherwise An Jiaxin will worry about me arguing with you."
"It was you who said that, not me." Right then, the old man was like a stubborn old child, insisting on battling wits with Chief Engineer Fu. It looked like a quarrel, but Ye Jian saw a hint of a smile in the old man's eyes.
