The FBI isn't the police, but sometimes they're not too different. They don't always handle major cases, but if there's a cross-state crime in America, the FBI is definitely the one taking over.
Gao Yang had a bit of understanding about the FBI's jurisdiction, so he laughed and said, "Is it a cross-state fleeing crime?"
Murphy glanced at Gao Yang, displeased, and said, "If you knew what that damned bastard did, you wouldn't be laughing."
Gao Yang awkwardly put away his smile and asked, "What did he do?"
Murphy sighed, spat on the ground with a gloomy face, and then said sternly, "Eight years ago, there were two murders in Los Angeles in three days. The victims were all women, strangled from behind with a rope, dying of suffocation. A rope was found at the crime scene, and since the methods were the same, it was concluded to be the work of the same person."
Gao Yang said in surprise, "Eight years ago?"
