Half a year later, near the ruins in a rarely known place in Jing Province of the State of Yue, a man in a dark blue robe stood at the end of a small path, staring at the broken stone wall before him, lost in deep contemplation.
The ruins seemed to have existed there for an unknown amount of time, with waist-high wild grass and shrubs growing everywhere, and stone bricks covered with layers of black-green moss.
Occasionally, the grayish-white part of the stone wall in front of the man in the robe revealed a faintly visible "Han" character relief with a missing corner.
After an unknown period, footsteps sounded from the path behind the robed man, and moments later, a couple with a little boy emerged from a bend, chatting and laughing.
The couple did not seem too old, just around thirty years of age. The man had dark skin and large hands and feet, while the woman was somewhat pretty, but with a slightly flushed face.
