As the warnings blared over and over, Silas's voice echoed through an entire deck of the ship. Lin Sanjiu had already stormed out of her room, feeling completely overwhelmed and spread too thin. She didn't know whether she should go to the door to hold off the puppets or go to the medical bay to find the Puppeteer—either way, it wouldn't be easy.
But when it came to the Puppeteer, she couldn't just delegate the task. Sending Bohemia or the twins was out of the question; they'd likely go out as people and come back as puppets. Silvan could probably hold off the puppets, but she wasn't willing to risk turning Exodus into a battlefield.
