Gyatso stepped out of the shower, drying the droplets of water off his body with a towel as he nonchalantly picked up his cell phone to check the WeChat group.
Previously, the four of them had drawn lots, with three task cards, but one of them had a "one" written on it, signifying unchangeability. The person who drew that card had to stay in Fang's house and do nothing.
The four had left the house together and then went their separate ways by taxi at the entrance, but they were aware that one of them would surely turn back to Fang's house. However, except for that person, no one knew who it was.
This was because, at least in the current view of the four, there was no place safer than Fang's house. If any of the others encountered an accident, at least one person could remain inside the house and take the next step while ensuring safety.
At the very least, it would avoid the embarrassing situation of all four being 'out of commission' simultaneously.
