Interestingly enough it wasn't Yao Meirong that we ran into upon stepping out of the gateway, and more interestingly - or for me, much to my immense disappointment - the ones we ran into were none other than Valerie, Vivian and Valentina.
The three Lucreiza Sisters were standing outside of the portal chatting - or more accurately, Vivian was in the midst of regaling her sisters with something or another whilst they just listened in silence, giving her nods or looks whenever they deemed it appropriate - apparently waiting for us to emerge.
The second we stepped free and were in their line of sight, the chatter stopped and they all immediately approached, with Valentina looking between Huang Yuelin and I for a few moments while Valerie decided to be far more direct.
"Leave us."
