I could actually feel every minute shift in the air as I stood my ground, becoming a bulwark that the endless hordes had to break against in hopes of reaching the manor; every single one of the monsters that stepped up to me were easily noted before I even turned to look at them, and that... it was exhilarating.
Behind me I could feel one raising its arm in hopes of striking me down, allowing me to jab my halberd behind myself as I knocked it back so that I could continue dealing with the two monsters in front.
I could also feel the four Minotaurs that were rushing towards me from a dozen feet away, their 'eyes' locked onto me whilst a few others peeled off from them and headed for Huang Yuelin, who was fighting effortlessly even now, many hours after we had started.
