The first few swings that came my way were truly clumsy and utterly pathetic when you realized that they were coming from monsters that lingered around the Second Blossom rank on average, yet it wasn't something that I could easily dismiss since they were practically unending.
The amount of monsters that were around me never seemed to diminish as my halberd weaved through the air around me just as incessantly as the crude weaponry being wielded against me, and it was that constant flow of danger that made my blood run hot.
I slid beneath the rushed swing from one monster and slammed my shoulder into its chest before jabbing the spear tip of my halberd against its sternum, cracking it apart and dropping the skeletal monster with a single blow.
