"Alright, give me a kiss and I will let you sleep," Xie said, leaning his face closer to hers.
Euphoria glared at him, but before Luce and Hayes could return, she quickly kissed his cheek, then lay down and closed her eyes.
"That was way too half-hearted," Xie murmured with a smile, feeling quite pleased with himself even if it wasn't enough.
Euphoria ignored him and kept pretending to be asleep.
Xie smiled and lay down beside her.
However, after only a few minutes, Xie leaned over to Euphoria's ear and whispered, "Euphoria, I feel so mistreated, and Emilia feels mistreated too."
Euphoria realized he was bringing up something specific, so she had to open her eyes and ask, "Why do you feel mistreated?"
