Once she settled into her spot, she let out a silent sigh of relief and lay down to rest.
However, she had only been lying there for a few minutes when the curtain to her section of the room was pulled aside.
She looked up to find Fan standing at the entrance, watching her with an unreadable expression.
Euphoria was wrapped in an animal skin blanket. She sat up abruptly, pulling the hide tightly around herself, and asked, "Do you need something?"
Fan stared at her for a moment before replying, "Not really, I just wanted to see if you were hungry."
Euphoria found his behavior incredibly bizarre today, but she simply managed to say, "I am not hungry."
Fan gave a brief nod, let the curtain drop, and walked away.
Left alone, Euphoria puzzled over his strange actions. She tried to rest, but sleep eluded her entirely.
That evening, she chose to stay in her room again and had them leave her dinner outside the door.
