The two grand elders gritted their teeth.

They pushed their hands into the air, fighting back against the crushing weight.

"Do not look down on us!"

The first elder roared.

Golden energy exploded from their bodies.

They were true Sovereign Profound Realm masters.

Their power shook the cave walls, trying to break Sam's control.

"We are in the same realm!"

The second elder yelled, pulling out a massive glowing blade.

"You cannot defeat both of us!"

They swung their weapons, sending waves of destructive energy right at Sam.

Sam did not move. He just flicked his finger.

Thousands of flying swords shot forward like a storm of light.

The elders' attacks were instantly destroyed.

The vast difference in their power was completely clear.

Even though they shared the same realm, Sam's foundation and control were on a completely different level.

The swarm of steel tore through their golden shields with ease.

Before anyone could blink, a single stray sword shot straight through Ling Kun's chest.

Ling Kun's eyes went blank.

He dropped to the stone floor and died instantly, without making a single sound.

"Ling Kun!"

The grand elder shouted in horror.

He and his partner were quickly pinned to the ground by hundreds of blades.

They coughed up blood, unable to move a single muscle.

The fight was over in mere seconds.

Ling Tianni fell onto his hands and knees.

He was trembling violently.

"He killed an elder of the Sacred Grounds,"

Ling Tianni whispered in pure terror.

"He did it without even trying."

The other sect leaders hugged the walls, too scared to even breathe.

They thought Sam was just a skilled young man.

They never imagined he possessed this kind of world-shaking power.

Yun Canghai watched the entire scene from Jean's side.

His tired eyes slowly filled with a bright, new light.

*He is incredibly strong,*

Yun Canghai thought, his heart beating fast.

*He wiped out Sovereign masters like they were insects.*

Yun Canghai looked at Sam's back.

For the first time in a hundred years, the old man felt real hope.

"Young man,"

Yun Canghai spoke up, his voice full of deep respect.

"If you are truly this powerful... could you do me a favor?"

Sam turned around.

With a simple wave of his hand, the millions of swords vanished into thin air.

"What do you need?"

Sam asked calmly.

"My home is in grave danger,"

Yun Canghai pleaded, looking at Sam with desperate eyes.

"Please. Use your strength to help my Empress. If you can save her, I will give you anything you want."

Sam looked at the old man.

*The trap is already set for her,*

Sam thought to himself.

He could feel the thick, invisible string of karma tying him directly to the Little Demon Empress.

By taking Yun Che's place in this world, her fate became his responsibility.

He had to save her.

"I will help you,"

Sam told Yun Canghai.

The old man let out a heavy, shaking breath.

He closed his eyes in pure relief.

"Thank you,"

Yun Canghai whispered.

"I owe you everything."

Sam turned his attention away from the old man.

He looked at Jean.

"Jean,"

Sam said.

Jean walked right up to him.

"What is the plan?"

Jean asked.

"Take everyone and head to the Divine Phoenix Empire first,"

Sam instructed her.

"Take the spaceship."

Jean nodded.

"Understood,"

Jean replied.

"Will you be far behind us?"

"I will follow you right after I finish helping him,"

Sam said.

Cang Yue stepped closer.

She looked at Sam with hopeful eyes.

"Can I come with you?"

Cang Yue asked.

"I am much stronger now. I want to help you."

Sam smiled, but he shook his head.

"No, Cang Yue. You cannot come this time."

"Why not?"

She pressed, her voice dropping.

"Because your home needs you,"

Sam explained.

"You just won the tournament. You finally proved to the world that the Royal Family is strong again. If you leave now, who will protect them?"

Cang Yue looked down at the stone floor.

She wanted to follow him.

She wanted to fight by his side.

But the weight of her crown was too heavy to ignore.

Her duty to her people had to come first.

"You are right,"

Cang Yue admitted.

"I have to stay and guide them."

"Go rebuild your kingdom,"

Sam told her.

"Please be careful,"

Cang Yue said, looking back up at him.

"I always am,"

Sam answered.

Sam turned his attention back to the two grand elders.

They were still pinned tightly to the stone floor.

"You..."

The first elder gasped, struggling to breathe.

"Our Sect Master will hunt you down."

"He will not have to,"

Sam replied plainly.

"I will go to him. I will deal with your sect later."

Sam flicked his finger.

The swords flashed once. The two Sovereign Realm masters stopped moving completely.

They were dead.

Ling Tianni covered his mouth with shaking hands.

He did not dare to make a single sound.

"Let us go,"

Sam told Yun Canghai.

Sam turned his back on the Villa Master and walked away.

Outside the mountain, Jean and the rest of the family boarded the spaceship.

They lifted off into the sky, heading toward the Divine Phoenix Empire.

Sam and Yun Canghai stood alone on a quiet dirt path.

Sam waved his hand using mystical art.

A glowing portal opened in the air.

"Are we going to my realm now?"

Yun Canghai asked, stepping toward the light.

"Not yet,"

Sam answered.

"We have one stop to make first."

"Where are we going?"

The old man asked, looking confused.

"I am taking you to meet someone,"

Sam told him.

"Your biological grandson."

Yun Canghai's body shook violently. His eyes went completely wide.

"My... my grandson?"

Yun Canghai whispered.

"He is alive?"

"Yes, he is,"

Sam smiled.

"His name is Xiao Che."

Sam remembered the day he first arrived in this world.

He had stepped in and stopped the spirit of Yun Che from taking over the boy's body.

Sam kept the Samsara Mirror and the Sky Poison Pearl for himself.

Because of that choice, Xiao Che got to keep his own life. He got to live as a normal, peaceful person.

"Come,"

Sam said, stepping into the portal.

"He is right through here."

Yun Canghai quickly followed him.

They stepped out into a quiet, sunny courtyard in Floating Cloud City.

A young man was sweeping the wooden porch.

He stopped and looked up when they arrived. He had a very kind and simple face.

Yun Canghai stared at the boy. The resemblance to his own lost son was undeniable.

The tough, old Emperor could not hold his emotions back anymore.

His legs gave out.

"Are you alright?"

Xiao Che asked, blinking in surprise.

He quickly dropped his broom and ran over to help the old man stand.

Yun Canghai grabbed the boy's hands.

He pulled Xiao Che into a desperate, tight hug.

"Yun Che, it is really you. I am your grandfather,"

Yun Canghai cried out loud, letting out a hundred years of pain and guilt.

Xiao Che was confused, but he did not pull away.

He gently hugged the crying old man back.

Sam stood quietly in the corner of the courtyard.

He watched the broken family finally reunite.

He had changed the fate of this world, but looking at the old man's tears, Sam knew he made the right choice.
