Rubble on the ruins slid down, revealing the Purple Giant Dragon's wretched body.
Aside from the deep, bone-deep wound cut by the Tail Blade, half of his body was nearly shredded, a bloody mess with broken scales exposing fractured bones and writhing internal organs.
He struggled to lift his head, looking toward the silver-white figure standing atop the ruins.
In those dark-gold vertical pupils, fear finally appeared.
It was true fear.
Facing such a powerful enemy, he was finally afraid.
The opponent's cruelty and Bloodlust were far more terrifying than he had imagined.
"Spare... spare me..."
He opened his bloody maw, his voice trembling with humble supplication.
He, who had once been high and mighty, was now actually begging this prey for his life.
Lilith looked down at him, a hint of amusement flashing in her four crimson vertical pupils.
She grinned, revealing rows of sharp teeth.
She didn't say she would spare him.
Nor did she say she wouldn't.
"I want to know."
She spoke, her immature voice echoing across the ruins.
"Where do you come from, and why are you hunting us?"
The Purple Giant Dragon seemed to grasp a glimmer of hope.
Without the slightest hesitation, he spoke quickly.
"We come from another Main God Game!"
"The dungeon of our Main God Game is a Magic World, with a complete magic system, dragons, elves, dwarves, and various magic classes!"
"But there was an accident with the previous mission transport, and we were forced to teleport here!"
"Forced?"
Lilith split her bloody maw into a hideous smile.
Not even a ghost would believe such lies.
With clear hunting targets, coming straight for the Reincarnators with a clear division of labor and perfect coordination—this was clearly not their first time.
They did this sort of thing often.
Moreover, it seemed there wasn't just one Main God Game; this was important information.
However, Lilith never coddled liars.
Her Bone Tail slowly wound around to the front.
It was raised high.
On the Tail Blade, a cold light flickered.
The Purple Giant Dragon's eyes suddenly widened!
"No—everything I said is true—no—!!!"
Puchi—!
The Tail Blade instantly pierced through his brain!
The sharp tip emerged from the back of his head, bringing out a mess of red and white fluid.
The Purple Giant Dragon's regret over his petty cleverness was forever frozen in those gradually glazing eyes.
His pupils dilated.
life faded away.
The entire battle, from beginning to end—
Was an absolute, utter slaughter.
Lilith retracted her Bone Tail, letting the massive corpse crash to the ground.
Then, she opened her bloody maw and bit into the opponent's head!
Crunch—!
Bones shattered!
Flesh tore!
Lilith began to enjoy her spoils of war.
[Devoured Giant Dragon, obtained Dragon Gene +1, current Dragon Gene 1%.]
As the dragon's corpse was completely devoured, a notification sounded in her mind.
A hint of satisfaction flashed in Lilith's eyes.
Dragon genes were delicious.
If she could gather the complete dragon gene and fuse it into her own body...
A Bloodlust light shone in Lilith's eyes.
She turned around, her four crimson vertical pupils scanning the mutated behemoths cowering in the distance.
Feeling her gaze, those behemoths trembled even more violently, some even collapsing directly to the ground.
Compared to that Purple Giant Dragon, these behemoths were of a lower grade.
But—
They were still delicious.
Lilith would not pass up any chance to improve herself.
Her massive body suddenly pounced!
The hunt continued!
A forty-meter Jaguar had its spine snapped in one bite!
An eighty-meter Giant Crocodile was pinned to the ground by her Tail Blade!
A fifty-meter giant bear had its skull crushed by a single claw!
Notification after notification sounded.
[Devoured Unknown Giant Beast, obtained Unknown Virus Gene +1%, current progress 23%.]
[Devoured Unknown Giant Beast, obtained Unknown Virus Gene +1%, current progress 27%.]
[Devoured Unknown Giant Beast, obtained Unknown Virus Gene +1%, current progress 32%.]
As the last behemoth was devoured, the virus gene progress settled at 93%.
Lilith stopped her movements, her four crimson vertical pupils narrowing slightly.
Still 7% short.
But she wasn't in a hurry.
As long as she could obtain the manufacturing method for this gene virus, she could finish the collection quickly.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
Then—
Red Mist billowed out from around her body!
The thick, churning Red Mist completely enveloped her massive frame!
Within the mist, bones cracked and flesh contracted as her size rapidly shrank!
A few seconds later.
The Red Mist dispersed.
A little loli wearing simple casual clothes stood atop the ruins.
A white T-shirt, denim shorts, and white sneakers.
Snow-white long hair draped over her shoulders.
Those crimson vertical pupils were now curved into crescents, carrying a hint of satisfaction after a full meal.
She looked up, her gaze crossing the ruins toward the distant outskirts.
There, she felt several faint life signatures.
They were Reincarnators.
The corners of Lilith's mouth curled up slightly.
The next moment—
Her figure vanished directly from the spot!
When she reappeared, she was already in front of seven people.
Lucas, Leon, Shiki, Ivy, and Ivy's teammates.
The seven stood dazed, looking at this silver-haired little loli who had appeared out of thin air, their minds completely blank.
Lilith tilted her head, sizing these people up; especially upon seeing Lucas and the other two, a glimmer of interest appeared in her crimson eyes.
